    Babolat Pure Strike VS 2022
The Babolat Pure Strike VS 2022 is a control oriented tennis racquet, low powered.
The access to top spin is average, correct but not very easy.
Very good manoeuvrability if the weight of 310 g unstrung is fine for you.
The comfort is fine and the forgiveness is correct for a tennis racquet with such a head size a bit small. Better if you center the ball with the Babolat Pure Strike VS 2022.
I advise the Babolat Pure Strike VS 2022 to players :
    - with a very good level,
    - who are able to produce their own power,
    - with a good technique,
    - with a powerful game,
    - who use an average level of top spin,
    - looking for a good level of control,
    - able to play with a racquet a bit heavy,
    - looking for a racquet with a good manoeuvrability, head light.

There is a typo during the power comparison part (7:57). I'm guessing the bottom table's title should be "Less Power."

I've played 4 hours now with the Pure Strike VS. First two hours with MSV Focus Hex 1.23 Red and yesterday two hours with Luxilon Vibe 1.25, both around 23kg. First things first, this frame design is excellent for one-handed backhands. I haven't been able to dial-in with the slices yet, but that's on me - with some other rackets slices seem very easy like Pro Kennex Q+ Tour Pro, Angell TC95 V3 16*19 and Diadem Nova FS100. On the forehand side, one has to use very fast rackethead speed to get depth. It's not as underpowered as the Tecnifibre TF40 315 16*19, but it's less powerful than the Diadem Elevate V2 FS98. The Pure Strike VS with its tight 16*20 string pattern is great for flat hitting from the baseline. From the midcourt it's very whippy, but got better topspin from the Focus Hex than the Vibe. On the serves, the 2nd/slice serves are super easy to hit. Flat need very fast rackethead speed, as do the flat forehands. First impressions are very encouraging for me to keep it as my main stick. Some say it needs some added weight at 3 and 9, but that's too personal to judge, especially after only 4 hours.

I will throw something from me. I am an ex pro player and for 5 tears I had the vcore pro310 the green one with leadtape 3 and 9 (4g). Today i have for the first time this VS. This is amazing… the bcore has less power i think, control is the same. Both strung with alu power 1.25 on 24/23 kg. This is likw the pure storm GT sampras uses now. This is a love lwtter from the past with the glossy pait and box beam:) this os something awesowe with the fell…!

Great review Jean Pierre! :) How would you compare this stick with the 2017 Pure Aero VS? Wondering if it would be a good switch. Thanks!

    • @team-tennisenglish1514
      @team-tennisenglish1514  2 года назад

Hey Mehrban, I'm going to review the latest pure aero vs soon. If the 2017 is the one that weights 295 g, I've tested it. In both cases the pure strike VS will be a bit heavier, more control oriented, less top spin friendly, less maneuverable.

I find the Blade more comfortable and spin friendly, easier to swing, power rather close. The Blade will suits more players. The Pure Strike VS is more difficult, good technique required.

Well, don't know if it's the racquet or me who is anemic but indeed I had a problem to find some power especially on my forehand. On my backhand it was fine. It's going to depend on the player but as I said, good level and ability to produce power required.
