It has been nearly twenty years since Emmy-award winning composer Gary Malkin agreed to join with me in creating Graceful Passages: A Companion for Living and Dying. Featuring his music as a soundtrack behind the voices of Thich Nhat Hanh, Ram Dass, Zalman Schacher, Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, and many others, the recording was originally intended for the dying and their families. Asked the question, 'What would you say to a dying person?', their responses- while arising from different faiths and traditions- speak to the universal heart of humanity. The audience for Graceful Passages includes those embracing their grieving process or recognizing their own mortality as an integral part of their spiritual life.
