My 1st experience was 'Living Buddha Living Christ' audio-book read by Sir Ben Kingsley, 2004 I think (after getting sober in 2003). I ended up buying the book in hard-copy and several others after that ; devouring all which I, in no small part, attribute to my sobriety & clarity of mind. Namaste Thay. I cried every time i see his images since the day he passed. I’ve only known him through his books last 2-3 months and he’s changed my mind so much. I planned to visit Vietnam to see him in near future since the day i finished reading The miracle of mindfulness. My heart aches knowing that i no longer have that chance.
Same, I almost never cried in my life. But since Thay's passing I cry so much when I see his pictures. Yet I feel his energy and spirit is with us every step. You can meet him in your heart, and through his sangha. Much love!
Thank you so much for this video. It makes me so happy in my deep sadness to see his continuation and his energy transform suffering wherever walks. Thay is like e conga line dancer so inviting, and so profoundly enjoying his dance that I cannot help but to join his tempo and mirror his moves with my own. As I do, I immediately feel better and I remember that whatever kept me from dancing was never me, it was something stale and dead. I feel free. Full of life and potential. What was keeping me from dancing is not gone. It has become the dancing. A smile of recognition and gratitude is born on my lips, and I look in front to see dear Thay. He is right there where I look, but I'm surprised to see that he is not at the front of the line. He is dancing happily and his hands are placed on his fathers shoulders. His fathers hands are placed on his mothers shoulders. His sangha. His friends. The animals, the mountains and the rivers. The sun and the moon. I see that the line goes on forever. I look behind me to see countless living beings dancing together. I can see branches and leaves dancing in the wind. I can see worms dancing, their bellies filled with soil. The lines stretch in every direction, like a vast net. The movements of one being is transferred in every direction. I can see the lines bending and that they in fact form a net in 3D. That each living being, and even all that is currently in a state of staleness appearing to lack life is like a jewel in the infinite net of Indra. All is present in the one, and one is present in the all. As I look around I realize that many beings are not actually dancing. They look like I did a minute ago. Stale and dead. Believing that they are this image, they are bound to its movement or lack of movement. Compassion is born in my heart, for I know what it is like to think your true nature is stale and dead. To believe that you don't deserve to dance. That happiness is not possible for you. I realize the deep meaning of my own happiness. How can I invite another to dance like Thay invited me me unless I am dancing? I cry tears of relief and renewed commitment as I remember the meaning of the words of the Buddha: “Live in joy, in love, even among those who hate. Live in joy, in health, even among the afflicted. Live in joy, in peace, even among the troubled. Look within, be still. Free from fear and attachment, know the sweet joy of the way.”
A life well lived. Becoming a gift to while humanity. This is so pure, so fascinated and so so beautiful. A life worth living like how he lived. A gift to us indeed.

This man intrigues me very much. It's not so long ago I heard him speak for the first time . His voice is so gentle. Seeing the slide show, I was moved how he touched so many lives. He touched my live also. I'm not sure what kind effect it will have for my future. I feel sad for the many friends who will miss his guidance. His legacy is captured in many videos I watch on RUclips. This small and fragile man was powerful.
