What an amazingly chill experience it was to watch. I've never used Affinity, but I think I might. I'm accustom to Adobe Illustrator, which seems almost clunky compared to this. Unless you just have a really good grasp of your software.
Can you explain the Drag-drop feature/tec you are using? Every time you make a shape and drop it into that group its automatically cropping that color to fit the Dears body.
He's making the color object a "child layer" of the deer's body that he wants to color. When you make something a child layer, it'll only show up in parts where the parent layer is, not outside it.
I recently switched to designer because I hate the business model of Adobe. I had been working with illustrator for almost 10 years so I am a bit lost. Since you use both do you feel affinity can replace illustrator?
actually i also want to be a Graphic designer. but i am getting confuse that which software is good for learn but i found in online this software than i seen this video i am so impressed. thank you very much. and also i want to know about this software history and about future. i mean we can operate longer or not. and what about New version ?
It depends on some points, Affinity is a much cheaper than illustrator, has great clipping features, but it still lack in features like shape builder tool, perspective tool, etc... But affinity is much simpler not complex as illustrator for somebody new to it... But i love both programs, i use both programs daily...
Not bad, but, I've recently had a look at Concepts, and it is a brutally much more innovative in this vectorization, if you have a digital pen/pencil it works amazingly on ipad, Android tablet or Windows with a digital pen pad/screen. The innovative idea is that immediately converts all your strokes into vector graphics, and you can export your drawing as SVG. What is brilliant that it has unlimited canvas, too with unlimited amount of layers. So, what I think is that after you are done with drawing with Concepts you can import the SVG into your Affinity to complete the project. What do you think?
I come expecting to skip through the vid and take away a thing or two but ended up sitting through the chilled
experience! Thank you
Thank you so much!

Thank you so much. I picked up a lot of trick. Did you make all of the custom gradients yourself? If so, how? I can't find it in the help box.
I just found out how to do it on another video of yours. Thanks.
Thank you so much, sorry for very late reply!
