CODE: Shadow - "Ori's Farewell" 🌳✨ (REPRISE) - (Ori and the Will of the Wisps Fan Piece)

Originally a piece I wrote close to 1 Year ago when I lost 2 Family Members within 1 Month of each other. I decided to revisit it with all plugins and effects I now know about! (Reverb etc.)
"Ori's Farewell" was a piece I was inspired to write due to this amazing art done by the one and only YuuniHana that really just spoke to me. During the composition of this piece, I received rather unfortunate news, further allowing me to channel my emotions into the composition and performance!

This track is so beautiful yet tragically sad at the same time, seeing the art of Ori looking at his adopted sister Ku one last time before he becomes the new spirit tree of Nwien just makes me so sad that Ori never had the chance to say goodbye to his family. He never got to say goodbye to Sein. The music and picture makes this track one I will play to remember my pet dog who sadly passed away

​@@CODEShadowYT The ending to Will of the wisps had me in tears the first time I played it and I always tear up at the ending cutscene. I was also wondering if I could use this track for a series I'm working on called Ori's human world adventures which will follow Ori as he explores the human world and makes new friends along the way as well as have some touching sad moments, this track would fit the series really well and I'll be sure to credit you for the track

Agree! I love both Ori games; and while I know that WotW is intended to show a more tragic atmosphere with a bittersweet ending, it just felt off that Ori just parted without saying goodbye. It's still fantastic though; I completed the series a while ago and I still have goosebumps.

Oh man, if there's only one thing I could change about Ori WotW is to include a scene like this by the end. ( And more screen time for Ku too :3 )

Y'all think an Ori 3 would be possible? Like, if Moon wants to continue the series, I have in mind they could do something like the Zelda series. You know, where each game takes place in the same timeline, but at different points with different characters that repeat the same events. WotW already established that Niwen has a life cycle: the Spirit Tree dying which begins a Decay era, until a new Guardian Spirit comes to restore the Light and become the next Tree. So technically Ori 3 could take place hundreds of years after Ori 2, where "our Ori" passes the Light to the "next Ori" or something like that.
I don't know if it makes sense, I just loved the games and I think the series has potential :p

I think I read a news about moon studios in which they said that their next game was not going to be edited by Microsoft, so if they separated I don't think that the next one (if there is to be a new one) is not made by moon studios
