Summarising an email seems like something a third party app could do. Like if I had Outlook could co-pilot do that stuff already? Albeit not integrated.
If this thing is going to have access across the OS of my phone, I want it to scrape every bit of data in there and become the second half of my brain. Blurring photos etc is for AI what drilling a hole in a head to release a demon is for medicine.
It would be good if you told U.K. users no ai works in this country at the beginning of the video as could have saved myself 15 minutes of my time which I could have used towards doing something more productive
I literally explain in the opening 2 minutes that it’s available for the US only at this time.
@@pepps180267 imagine blaming the creator when you can’t be bothered to watch the first few minutes where he says exactly what you’re complaining about.
Doesn’t work in the uk
I explain in the video that this is currently US only. Coming to the UK in December.
I’ve been an iPhone user since the first day, and now is the first time I’ve been tempted to switch to Android. Pathetic AI tools and they’re not even available here, lacklustre hardware. My patience is tested.
siri does utterly nothing on my M1 mac - even set to US English
American viewers only!
Yawn …. I also us Sammy and Pixel and am finding the AppInt on my 15 ProMax to be less than attention grabbing. Maybe when we get the whole set in 2025 it may be better. For now they are good for the first few days/weeks. After that they become, mostly, yawn…. An additional item, some of these Apple AppInt functions are available on Android without requiring AI. Why is AI needed on Apple’s side?
I don’t understand why i’m watching this if I can’t use it. Bye
@@LarcTald You probably can. I’m in New Zealand (December release), switched the region to the USA and went on the waitlist. I was up and running in an hour.
🙏
Greetings from 2025. Europe has it now too.
You from future how those features working for you in Europe.
@@TechNowJCAwesome on my iPhone 17 pro max slim.
I have to say this, cause the Matrix has my family.
@@atzimtzumOh 😮
😂
Reading the comments - this IOS 18.1 is a bit of a pig in a poke (a sack!) most of Europe can’t get it - those that can are on a waiting list and the rest of the known world has to take the American language version - Appple has sold phones and ipads that are Apple Intelligence compatable - great but you cannot get it yet . Not very intelligent at all.
Looking at the first "Professional" AI rewrite, it seems to be channeling every "Boy Manger" I've ever had the misfortune to work with. It's likely to be met with statements ending in " . . .Off" AI, of course is only doing what it's been machine-learning to correct. It has no concept of how to effectively pull people up for their misdemeanours without being a twat. For the short term future - employees are likely to shrug their shoulders and say "AI wrote it - why should I care?
Don't rush to rejoice, Apple Intelligence has not launched everywhere at once. Some will have to wait on a waiting list.
Yep, this is explained in the video.
@@ProperHonestTechbut I’m waiting hours, not minutes as you said. Hope soon it will be my turn
I said it was minutes when I joined the Beta. I'm guessing there's a lot more interest now that it's in the public domain. Fingers crossed for you.
I waited about 30 minutes for activation.
So I was about to buy the pro max for the better battery life but to get all these nice usable features I have to go with three hours less battery life?thats a bad choice #Apple
Apple Intelligence is trash, give us a ChatGPT prompt style UI, I was expect to code with that crap.
I my opinion it sucks.
why is it s*ri all the time in this vid tho?
@@indoric so he does not trigger your Siri bro
@@TechNowJC makes so much sense lol
So I would imagine that all videos from here on are going to be focused on Apple AI and those of us without compatible devices will have to find somewhere else to get ourApple info from. Guess I will unsubscribe and see ya all later when I get an AI compatible device.
Not at all. Some videos will feature Apple Intelligence features when relevant, but there's not much else to talk about now until the next update. In the meantime, the focus will be non-Apple Intelligence features, like it's always been. But if you want to subscribe, honestly, I'd rather you did, I don't want anyone here that doesn't want to be here.
@@ProperHonestTech My comment/reaction was probably uncalled for but I truly think that Apple has kind of dropped the ball here and created a division. Typically when I buy an Apple product I pay a premium price, because i expect it will be supported for a number of years. I paid dearly for my 14 Pro thinking I had at least 4 generations before requiring an upgrade. Now there will be 2 Apple classes. Those with and those without AI. Its not that I actually see AI useful for my day to day use of a phone, but when I go to places like yours to see updates info and learn, I simply now know that some of the things being featured i will not be able to follow until I am able to pony up the thousands of dollars to obtain a new device. Looking forward to more of your informative stuff. peace
While the ad runs…let’s see if he says it’s for i15p and up…DOUBT IT.
Edit…I SALUTE YOU
