But how do you stop it?! I don't want him to lick me or anyone else excessively like he does, and we can't seem to get any results from corrective action (or inaction/removing the reward). I refuse to believe that we just have to tolerate this unwanted behavior.
Please get to the point. The videos are generally informative, but your way too verbose. The video does not get to point, or suggest how the licking can be curbed. I am on my third Ridgeback. I am very familiar with ridgebacks. I am looking for ridgeback specific answers / options to certain behaviors. You do you general feedback that applies in general to all dogs not ridgeback s. So far - and I hope this will change- I have been disappointed. I as well as five other ridgeback owner have been watching you videos- but they do not represent advanced knowledge of the ridgeback, their training, behaviors. It would help if you provided specific information on the ridgeback. Not general dog training and behavioral that is addressed to Rhodesian Ridgeback. This is a great idea. Ridgebacks are an amazing breed. The reason people are looking for assistance (even veteran owners) is because they are fewer than 55, 000 pure ridgebacks in the world and we run across questions / issues / behaviors that are unique to our breed.. Would love it if you could dig deeper and address these things.
Best dogs ever. Nice video. Thanks!
Love the show!
Ridgebacks are the absolute best
RRs and labradors: Because you are tasty!!!

I have had ridgebacks for 30 years and they rarely licked me... however, they love to lay all over me while I'm on the couch 😂😂
Mine licks my fingers after I smoke a cigarette 😮
