Leo's a real goofball. Love his "metalized" covers! You ought consider reacting to his cover of "Cover Me In Sunshine" which he did with his daughter - it's incredibly adorable. You'd love it. If you don't want to react to it at least watch it for yourself if you haven't already. Love your reactions Beth!
One of my favorite things about Leo's singing is that I can finally hear and understand the lyrics of sings he covers, particularly when so many of the original artists (or the mixing?) makes it hard to interpret. Plus, he always exudes joy, which brings me smiles.
Yes! I love Leo's metal covers. You must see his rendition of Africa by Toto - don't cut it off when it ends though, he has a really cool outro after the song.
Leo is a gem. His 'Our House' cover is a fun one, it's literally the real estate ad for when he and Stine (his now ex-wife) were selling their old house, disguised as a cover song.
That was brilliant! I remember thinking how genius when that was released. Not only that, it is a good cover, and a treat for the fans with all the rabbit spotting to be done in that video.
Other Leo videos to try: * What is Love (with Priscila Serrano) * Listen to your Heart (with Violet Orlandi) * Sultans of Swing as others have recommended * Mama (by Genesis) * Africa (with Hannah Boulton)
Leo is the first YT cover artist I watch that voluntarily paid song royalties before YT forced him to. I wasn't even aware you could do that when he mentioned it. So an upright guy all the way around.
Leo is incredibly talented and brings the energy needed to drive a crowd, I enjoy his music and productions immensely. His updated takes on classic songs cant be beat. Great video
Oh thank goodness, the “react” network has finally discovered Leo. I hope the other channels follow suit, and quick, fair use being what it is. He was one of the best discoveries I made during the last 2 years. Seems overdue, given his genius at metallizing almost any arrangement, and the presence of his own vocals, as well as a few talented guests. “Listen to your Heart” and “Dance Monkey” must come along next if you deem to revisit his catalogue. The Roxette cover is impeccable, newly energized for the 2020’s, and you get to meet two other members of the Frog Leap team. And the T&I cover is superlative to the original, and features Violet Orlandi, a fellow RUclips famous vocalist of impeccable caliber.
I'd say the "react" network actually found Leo a couple years ago.. at least there's been a lot of Leo on many of the other "big react" channels out there.
Been following Leo for a long time now. He and his friends are an extremely talented bunch who genuinely love what they do, and that energy blasts through every piece they put out. Your reaction was priceless and frankly adorable 😍
Should definitely add his cover of sultans of swing (w Mary Spender) to the watch list. Nicely done cover with the added bonus of hearing Mary's range as welll...
LOVE that you are analyzing Leo's work. That man is ridiculously gifted. His metal covers are impeccable, and almost always hilarious to watch. Make sure to always watch the outros - they are often even funnier.
Can't always fit a video into my watch schedule right away, but I came running when I saw this one. Great artist, great cover, FANTASTIC giggly reaction.
This. This. This. He’s got so many great covers to choose from, but vocally, the juxtaposition between Mary’s absolutely velvet delivery and Leo’s growl is magic.
Thanks Beth! I absolutely love Leo. My favorite song cover is a collaboration with Violet Orlandi on Roxette's " Listen To Your Heart". It's phenomenal!
Time 1:57+ Your expression is straight from your heart and reflects how I felt the first time I heard Leo play. Man, he just get's in there and nails it! Oh, beautiful smile, ma'am! Enjoyed your reaction to this immensely.
I still watch this version of Hello and I watched it the day it dropped. Watching Leo go through his journey all these years is pretty amazing. Eye of The Tiger is another really good one.
Absolutely LOVE Leo and his metal covers. I can honestly say I think I've listened to every cover he has put out, and there has only ever been one, maybe two that I wasn't super happy with. Everything else is just so much fun, and it's amazing he can play so many instruments and has such great vocals. I hope you do more reactions to Leo. The first one I ever heard from him was his cover of Africa by Toto. Hooked me instantly and have followed him ever since.
Leo is an amazing musician and I'm glad you loved this cover. Everyone in the comments is saying to react to his cover of Africa by Toto but I think you should do his cover of Holding out for a hero.
I love all of Leo's work he's very talented and this was pretty much my reaction too. If I'm not mistaken he's tracked 4 vocal tracks for each side. Falsetto, clean/standard signing vocals, screaming, and just speaking the lyrics. He put a out video a year or two ago showing his process.
One of the major things I have noticed when Leo covers a song, besides the incredible talent, is his vocals are so clean I can actually understand the lyrics. When I hear the song sung by the original artists I cannot understand the lyrics most of the time. Then I hear Leo's version and it's Ohhhhh, now I understand!

It’s awesome ! How about coverings Jinjer song now you can really Roar ? Also sky diving ? I bet all your fans would pitch in a few bucks to see you bang your head while jumping out of a plane ✈️!
He did collaborations with a few of your fellow countrymen and women: Pete Cotrell here, Mary Spender on Sultans of Swing, Rabea Massad and Hanna Bolton on Africa... : )
I'm a big fan of Leo since I first discovered his Sultans of Swing cover with Mary Spender. Absolutely great. I already have my tickets for his live performance here in Luxembourg next year!!!
Him and his friends doing the Pokémon theme song at Wacken live was awesome. I love Leo! I bought his children’s song albums. Hearing him sing “if your happy and you know it bang your head!” is just so full of win.
so pumped your covering the cover master leo's video's are so funny. he does a great cover of sultans of swing with Mary Spender, he does lots of other very fun videos the creativity is amazing
Leo never lets you down, he's just awesome. It's really neat to see him play every instrument and he's good at all of them. There is an 11 year old girl named Nandi Bushell who does a lot of covers, she plays the drums mostly, but she also plays guitar, bass, keyboards, sax, sings, writes songs, she's pretty amazing. You should check her out.
One of his best covers ever is Toto's Africa. Would love to see your reaction to that. 💖
And LISTEN TO THE OUTRO!
That and Sultans of Swing are my favorites.
The outro is just *CHEFS KISS*
Yeeeaaaaasssss!!!! Listen to that one!!!
Agreed. His is the best cover of Africa hands down
Leo is awesome!
Him and Mary Spender doing "Sultans of swing" is the best! 🤘
Hell yaa 👍🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Absolutely amazing.
Love that cover
I think their version of Tracy Chapman was even better. :D
I agree; he and Mary Spender killed that cover.
Been listening to Leo for years, always happy to see his covers and his partnerships with other artists glad to see him getting recognition
me too that guy is unbelievable. His collaboration on Slipknots psychosocial with a banjo was the shiz. He did it with Rob Scallon.
I dont know what first cover I saw from him, oldest I remember is Try, its hilarious and already 7 years old...
Frog leap studios. :)
So we're all in agreement that after 3:06 we wanted to hear Beth do a death metal performance, correct?
Maybe Beth could grunt a duet with this girl from Groningen (The Netherlands)? ruclips.net/video/jAGtrxAhdu4/видео.html&ab_channel=OmroepBrabant
thought exactly that, ha ha!
Hell yeah!
Beth Roars
Oh yeah. Beth was going to get a like when I finished watching but she got it right then.
Chickenwing, for the exact same reason
This
Dance Monkey. Same as.
Love the videos he does with his daughter! She is so stinking cute & quite the little performer.
I had just watched that then saw this video
One of my favorite things about Leo's singing is that I can finally hear and understand the lyrics of sings he covers, particularly when so many of the original artists (or the mixing?) makes it hard to interpret.
Plus, he always exudes joy, which brings me smiles.
You know you've made it when Leo covers you. Adele must be so proud.
Leo is one of my favorite people because of the basic enjoyability of his music, and his tons of pure skill.
Leo's cover of W.A.P. is actually the greatest thing I've heard in my life and so so good!
Yes! I love Leo's metal covers. You must see his rendition of Africa by Toto - don't cut it off when it ends though, he has a really cool outro after the song.
His change-up in 'I'm Still Standing' is incredible. Elton would be proud. This is awesome too.....mate, everything he does is exceptional, really.
Frankly, this blows the original out of the water. Leo is brilliant.
Yeah, Leo tends to do that.
Leo is a gem.
His 'Our House' cover is a fun one, it's literally the real estate ad for when he and Stine (his now ex-wife) were selling their old house, disguised as a cover song.

Priscila Serrano is amazing too! Love her solo stuff
@@paulscott7186 his rolling in the deep is awesome
him and truls doing carry on my wayward son is hillarious and really really good-
Africa with Hannah is still my favorite cover. Leo is absolutely amazing.
nothing will ever beat his cover of "what's the fox say"
Bad habits is also amazing, maybe better than original ;)
He can "metallize" so many song, and he's so good with so many instruments... a crazy genius
Can you believe he releases one of these every week? Yes, please go down the Leo rabbit hole! :D
I came here to make that point as well. He releases a new cover every week (except one week where he was sick).
That is dedication. And a ton of work.
Leo is the first YT cover artist I watch that voluntarily paid song royalties before YT forced him to. I wasn't even aware you could do that when he mentioned it. So an upright guy all the way around.

Let it go ;)
So glad you did this Beth! The guy is a genius and so talented. So many of his covers end up better than the original!
More people need to discover Leo, he's amazing
Many thanks for this, Beth. I've checked out loads of this guy's songs now, and I really like them. So much fun.
Leos covers are just outstanding. Love this dude 🙂
Been following Leo for a long time now. He and his friends are an extremely talented bunch who genuinely love what they do, and that energy blasts through every piece they put out.
Your reaction was priceless and frankly adorable 😍
Leo from Frog Leap Studios is awesome. We need more reactions from him and definitely need to watch his Outro following his songs.
When you sing that little piece of metal I got goosebumps! You're amazing Beth!!
Should definitely add his cover of sultans of swing (w Mary Spender) to the watch list. Nicely done cover with the added bonus of hearing Mary's range as welll...
Your joy listening music is heartwarming, Beth. Always good to be back to your channel!
Now we need Sultans of Swing ft Mary Spender 🤘😁
This. This. This. He’s got so many great covers to choose from, but vocally, the juxtaposition between Mary’s absolutely velvet delivery and Leo’s growl is magic.

1 new video every Friday, that's why his catalog is so huge. Welcome to the Leo Zone.
Loved Leo's cover of Hello and Lukas Rossi's version as well - amazing how well a rock/metal of this song works. Thanks for this!
I love how he enunciates so that you can understand the lyrics even though he's doing metal screams.
Love watching all the covers done by Leo...The man is talented
A couple of weeks ago, I accidently cam across Leo's website. I'm 78 and loved his exceptional talent 'and' humor!!
I remember the first time I saw this I was blown away. He was still new I can't believe how far he's come he just so talented
I still watch this version of Hello and I watched it the day it dropped. Watching Leo go through his journey all these years is pretty amazing. Eye of The Tiger is another really good one.
First time I've seen this and I love it! Great reaction and analysis Beth. An instant "subscribe"
All his covers are awesome and all his videos are so much fun

Full fledged destroyer of a cover

Plz react to Jane Zhang- loving you (2015 Bang the world tour in Beijing)
Love watching you jam out to this, Beth lol
Oh my, I LOVED THIS! Title should be "Vocal coach shows true fandom of amazing rock cover"! Loved you rocking out 1:58 =)
If someone used this to apologize, I would 100% forgive that person. Haha. This is such a great cover. 🥰🙏
I'll get the Mariachis... And whiskey for the afterward results.
In love with Leos music. So happy you loved this....
Wow I’m so glad you found Leo to check out! He has so much cool stuff he has remade and reinvented! Dig in👍
I love Leo's cover of this song. Another great and amazing version is by Fame On Fire.

This, africa and dance monkey are some of my fav covers he did. Fun react too, ty
I 1st learned of him from his metal cover of Toss a Coin to Your Witcher, but you should check out his cover of Carry on My Wayward Son.
Him and his friends doing the Pokémon theme song at Wacken live was awesome. I love Leo! I bought his children’s song albums. Hearing him sing “if your happy and you know it bang your head!” is just so full of win.
If Leo does it... It will make your jaw drop and find you love the metal in you that never got the love it deserved.
First metal song to ever bring me to tears and not in a bad way either! Almost hyperventilating so good.
Awesome review! :) I've been listening to Leo for about 4 years now.
Gotta love Leo, he's a great musician & obviously having an absolute blast :)
I love Leo, he always makes me happy. He's great.

Beth falls down the Leo rabbit hole… eventually she’ll learn about the rabbit part.
i love Leo's covers. he is super talented.
What incredible timing, Leo just dropped ANOTHER Adele cover just now!
WHOA! FIrst time I've heard Beth growl. That was good! I'm not a regular watcher so maybe I missed a previous demonstration of her growls.
Leo is amazing. I love seeing him gain more and more fame. He deserves it all.
I LOVE Leo!! He's the G.O.A.T. of metal covers!!!
Love Leo! And, I love that you get him.
Dance monkey, Sultans of Swing, and Africa are must do covers.. But he has hundreds of awesome covers
This guy makes quite the covers!! Love it!!
Such a fun performance he's made from a cover. I'm glad you noted this the most. Fun in music seems to be lost too often these days.
Love Leo. Major talent to the next level.
This video made my day! So much joy!
LOVE watching Beth geek out to heavy metal.
I actually went to a Frogleap band concert in Glasgow sometime ago! They are exceptional! All of them super talented and fun!
Saw frogleap a couple of years ago in a sweaty club in glasgow. Entire band were amazing and i wholeheartedly endorse more leo content lol
I love Leo man!!
Leo released a song a week for I don't know how many YEARS! Pop covers, rock covers, country covers. Try Dance Monkey! Cheers!
Wooo! That distortion example you gave! Obviously been practicing.
You can't get much more metal than Leo.
Leo is awesome not only does he play all the instruments and produce the video but he also has a wicked sense of humour
Leo is amazing, I've followed him for quite a while now. Toto's Africa is one of my favorites covers he does.
Leo has some of the best and creative covers. Power of Love is one of my favorites. His daughter is in the video having a great time with her dad.
Leo Is best! Greetings from Finland!
Leo is really great, love his covers!
My favorite Scottish vocal coach covering my favorite crazy Norwegian metal head? YES, please! :)
Ty for reacting to him, he's amazing.
i love him play all the instrument - my hero
His cover with the tuba is "Ex's and Oh's". I would *LOVE* to see a marching band cover that!
Pure commitment, Leo goes all out!
Man I love Leo.. his take on Pantera's "Walk" is just amazing!
Best Pantera cover. Ever.
My dear! Your reaction is priceless! Thank you!
Leo's Dance Monkey is a study in how to transform a song... plus the addition of a polka in the middle of dance song is genius
