is there a reason those buggys are so much more unstable?
Id imagine theyd look pretty similar, if they just had one of those TT bodys 🤔
Greetings from germany, love these off-road races! something different to the same old WRC

less rear end travel i believe. the trucks are 4 link 30+ inches in the rear. also weight distribution the buggy’s are rear engine vs mid engine in the trucks

I wonder the same thing sometimes and I think it really has to do with rear engine. I can imagine it helps a lot in certain situations, but sucks in others.

Split axle rear end, poor weight distribution (weight too far to the rear), and with the transaxle being open rather than a spool like in a truck, buggies are technically one-wheel drive, so rear tires switching between putting power down makes them a mother to control.

Buggies certainly have advantages over trucks in some areas. Big whoops are definitely not one of them, lol

      @@shxpxrd is that a reglement-type or a budget thing?

Do you think increased anti dive properties and IRS would have made the trucks perform better? I ask because the lower travel IFS and IRS buggies with more anti dive and anti roll seemed to handle those woops better than the trucks.
