@@Akash-uq8wg Absolutely. He might not be the absolute fastest of the WRC drivers in terms of pure raw pace (mostly only noticeable in tarmac rallies), but he's still extremely quick and more importantly incredibly consistent. In gravel rallies he's an absolute beast and someone you should always keep an eye on. Like BlueSkyCrystals summed up nicely: he's pure class. And definitely someone you want in your team.
I call Thierry, Mr. Calculator. He did the math for this season and for each race and did what he needed to do to stay on top. Nothing flashy or risky. Do what he knows he and the car can do.
This was an Alain Prost season for him. And knowing he was ahead was also a mental advantage, he could drive more relaxed making less mistakes in the end
Crazy that Virves was only one of Rally2 cars to go give it his everything on the last stage. Wouldn't have been as close if he had just cruised like the rest.
Bravos to the i20s for that superb performance. Surviving that tough ''rally of gods'' was not a mean achievement. Kudos guys. Maintain that spirit to the end of the season.💪💪💪

@@flintbeastwood7665 Taka is a decent enough driver in terms of pace, but it's pretty rare he finishes a rally without crashing. Kinda the same as Lappi. In terms of Seb and Kalle part time drivers they can't really force them to drive full seasons. They've both earned the respect to do that. Kalle deserved a break after non-stop rallying for years.
I personally was so disappointed by Sebastian ogier's yesterday's negative remarks on Hyundai's Thierry Neuville. He said Thierry is ever crying..and when asked for a comment Hyundai's boss was so simple on his comment..."let's wait for Sunday and we gonna find out who's faster" between Neuville and Ogier. If Hyundai wins this season for both driver and manufacture championship, it'll be hard for them to have a reason to not keep going into the 2026 season as they try to transition to WEC.
Toyota sunk. Ogier tried his best, but that fall was heavy, and the 16th place, Evans 18th place, and Katsuta's 30th place may be a little dangerous. It was good until last time, but in this rally, Hyundai won the title with a double.
Well the new points system allowed him to save yesterdays points so I doubt he complaining. With the old system he would have gotten 0 even after finishing the rally after flipping.
21:14 The car parked on the left caused Ogier to lose focus for a millisecond and came "in the wrong line" to make this turn. That was probably the reason why he ended up on the roof, after hitting the dirt mound with the front wheel.

Good rally for Sordo! Congrats 👏👏🇪🇦
He’s pure class.
He is really dependable. Don't understand why he doesn't have more rallies.
