When players retire its not always easy to keep them relevant as there are so many stars to renember over decades. Fans can look back and talk about Kobe, Wade, Shaq, and even current stars doing incredible things. Its very difficult for Pippen to maintain relevancy with all that considers
I will say that Jordan and Pippen are arguably the best duo in NBA history. Scottie showed periods of brilliance. But, we are talking about specific games, not a totality of a body of work. Scottie is damaging his own reputation. He was fully appreciated by Bulls fans. And, now fans of other players try to divide and conquer Jordan and Pippen, by saying that Jordan never won without Pippen. Scottie earned his superstar status playing with Jordan, but it was clearly Jordan's team and league.
Anthony Davis gets criticism for inconsistency, and Pippen isn't half as good as AD. Pippen isn't bad, but we got so many superstars across the decades
I can’t believe they used game 5…Pippen was average the entire series until that last game and that series was over by game 5..only reason they didn’t sweep the lakers was because of Pippen
Scottie should have made more All-Star games and was a shut down defender whose game got better and more complete with each year. The thing that always stuck out with me while watching it real time when it actually happened and then reconfirming while I rewatched a lot of these games during the pandemic is just how many times you knew about 5 minutes into the game if you were going to be able to rely on Scottie’s scoring or if it was going to be an off night.
Jordan never said it was just himself he always gave Pip credit. Dont get it twisted though. You're nitpicking games. Yes he contributed but it wasn't consistent. Pip never averaged over 25 points in a series.
Why is Johnny Arnett making drama content? Isn't he against that type of sports coverage? Anyway Scottie Pippen isn't good enough for this topic to even be interesting
1993 Pippen averaged 18/6/5 for the series and MJ averaged 31/5/5…Pippen exaggerated

Wade is exaggerated
@@mannyneva1760yet Wade is better than Pippen. Johnny Arnett acts as if there is some conspiracy to underrate Pippen
@@quickup7530 Wade is definitely better

Its really just Lebron fans that do that. "Lebron never had any teammates half as good as Pippen" they say

Thing about Pippen is that he is just a 15 points per game scorer. Fans in general are less interested in players that inconsistent

Thats Johnny Arnett. He nitpicks alot. I question the credibility of Johnny for that reason. What else did he nitpick
Jordan gave Scotty the credit but this here is about Scotty getting credit for 1 game out of many in a playoff series
Pippen averaged 20 for the series..he had 29 in that one game..fact is Pippen may have one big game a series and that’s it.
They need a video when Pippen was a bum
