- So I was having issues with transferring video files from my SD card to my newly updated ipad to ipadOS... and I think I've found the solution with the RavPower FileHub... Let me know what you think!

can you access the ravpower drive directly on the files app of iPad OS?

Can you try something for me. I know in your video it would not transfer through the app while wired directly to the iPad and Wi-Fi off but can you go into your Documents folder while it is wired to the iPad and see if it will read from the drive. Kind of like using a USB to lightning adapter with the new iOS 13.

There are three or more reviews of the RAVPOWER WD-09 on RUclips. Seems to be very little "how to" in the video. Could have definitely benefited with more detail.
That's because it's not a "How To" video... It's just a Unboxing and a introduction to the product and what it can be used for
@@GadgetBeard That explains a lot "Gadget Beard," but the video seems to try and do both. I own the WD-09 and there are a few caveats that aren't mentioned in the poorly written manual. It would have been easy going through the exact steps during your demo, which would have made the video a lot more informative. Pretty good intro, but fell short IMHO.

@@GadgetBeard One thing I noticed right off was that if you just tap a button, it might not do what you thought. For example, the power on button. If you just hit it long enough to see the light come on, you can still do some file functions, but not all. If you hold it down until you see the wifi indicator, you can do things that are made easy by connecting with a phone or tablet (and using the app). Another is the little 2.4G/5G button. Just pressing it gets us nowhere. It also has to be pressed long enough to see the 5G light on the main array light. It really comes down to the poor manuals supplied with all the RAVPower file hubs. They seem to have been slapped together and published without the benefit of any kind of editing except by whoever wrote them. I have the original WD-01, the WD-03, and the WD-09 units. The WD-09 is by far the best of the bunch, especially speed! Plus, the new app, RAV FileHub, is much more intuitive than the original app, FileHub Plus. Its manual is also better, but still fraught with grammatical errors and poor organizations. Even the RAVPower support people will acknowledge the manuals and procedures therein could be better. All these devices should be operable intuitively, but they aren't. Each requires more of a learning curve than should be required. Good manuals would have gone a long way to achieve that. Sorry I got so wordy here, but I get that way. By the way, as an aside, I've found RAVPower's tech support to be very helpful, not to mention incredibly patient. Ha!! Thanks.

Can it read NTFS files...?
Hello, i write you from Spain. I see that you use lumafusion. It is possible with this device read the content from one sd placed into the ravpower?. I don’t want to transfer the content of the sd to the ipad because i spend a lot of memory but work directly throw the ravpower with lumafusion . It is possible? Lumafusion can read the sd placed into the device? Thanks

Wifi I guess... I don't know... when I turn it on the transfer files my iPad will automatically connect to its wifi signal... but I really don't know.. why.. but if your that worried ... just deny the access..

Not from Lumafusion but from the iPad yes... This is what I use to transfer my video files... Works great
Gadget Beard i could see that you have lumafusion is there anyway you could try accessing videos from ravpower via lumafusion app in an ipad? Because i am planning to buy a ravpower this friday.

@@sankapoy8924 no lumafusion won't recognize the ravpower... I only use it to transfer the video files into the ipad
