As an Oregon State fan I have watch this great young man develop. This is a unique player. Set the single season record in stolen bases one year and the home run record the next. Great character! You folks in Cleveland are going to really enjoy rooting for him. I am going to have to become a Cleveland fan if you guy keep picking our Beaves!

Two year. this year Rookie League, Arizona Fall Ball. A year of AA and we could see him as a September call up next year. IMHO that would be a very fast track. Hope it helps or at least get's the discussion going...PLAY BALL!!
@@nicholaspiet3501 I have a bold prediction. He starts in Akron, finishes in CBus.. and is with the team during September call-ups. Hopefully to give us that push towards a ring.

He’ll join the minor leagues within the next few weeks. Probably will start in Lake County. If all goes well, we could see him in Cleveland next summer.

@@XaviRonaldo0 That is literally one guy, that is called an anomaly. Did they take Altuve with the 1.1 pick? Nope they signed him dirt cheap. There is a reason no 2nd baseman has ever been taken first. It is a bad pick, and one of the positions they already had settled.

Dude. Cleveland has been the MLB farm team for the Yanks for so, so, so, so many years. While Columbus was the triple A for them for a long time. I saw Jeter, Posada, and Clemens all play in Columbus.

@@charleshahn2463lol those Yankees played in Columbus because Columbus was NYY’s AAA team until 2006. Did you really think those guys used to be in Cleveland’s farm system? Historically minor league teams have changed the org that they’re affiliated with. Buffalo Bisons used to be a Cleveland minor league team and they’re currently with Toronto.
