    I listened to this episode (as I do most) via Spotify while driving. This was such a personal episode and its clear from your voices that you are frustrated with the lack of recognition of the clear science. We are all, ultimately, N=1 until (and if?) the conventional folks catch up and the Standard of Care is shifted. What you do, through your research, your sharing is vital for individuals to take more of a driving role in their health outcomes. I appreciate you both!

    Dear Ralph and Ben I thoroughly enjoyed your talk especially the second half of the video where you talk about cancer and sugar. While it is a fact that the cancerous tumor needs vast amounts of sugar to facilitate its rapid growth, the fungi responsible for the tumor dont use sugar, instead they use lipids. This genus of fungi is the only one known to live on lipids. The fungi is malassezia and as of now around 20 species have been identified, a portion of them known to reside on human skin, mainly the oily parts. While this fungi was identified in the mid 1800s and much later known as the cause of dandruff, tinea versicolour, and sebborheic dermatitis etc. Prior to october 2019 it was not thought to inhabit the insides of our bodies.
    As of october 2019 aykut et al. Published a research paper of profound importance, infact the most important paper in the history of cancer, whereby the researchers studying pancreatic cancer in mice discovered large numbers of malassezia fungi. They than treated the mice with antifungals and the tumors stopped growing, they then stopped the antifungals and reintroduced the malassezia and the tumors started to grow again. Then they studied the same in humans and found the same.
    Working on the back of aykuts study an israeli research team looked at 17000 tumors from 35 different cancers and found malassezia in all of them. I feel this fungi lives within us and should not be seen seen as a pathogen but an orgamism that has a symbiotic relationship with us.
    Many years ago in my teens I worked with a man who was dying of cancer, he said to me that because he was in his late 50s he thought he might have got through to old age, unlike his seven sisters all older than him had all died of cancer. That sent me on a journey of looking for the answer as to why they all died of cancer, that was around 60 years ago and hopefully it looks as though that journey may be over. Italian oncologist tullio simoncini told us 20 years ago that cancer was a fungus.
    Then we had Rick Simpson via his famous documentary ' run from the cure' that told the world about cannabis oil and its great effect on cancer.
    Then finally joe tippens who resolved his metastatic small cell lung cancer using fenbendazole, registered as a wormer for farm animals and dogs it is also the most poweful of the azole antifungals. People following Joes blog my cancer story rocks have had great success with their cancers.
    All those unrelated substances, other than a great effect on cancer, are all powerful antifungals.

    • @ms-jl6dl
      @ms-jl6dl Год назад

      I knew about Fenbendazol and Ivermectin being effective against cancers so I thought about some type of undetected parasite playing a role but never about fungus. The idea is interesting but too far fetched to claim that ALL cancers are enhanced or caused by fungus. That fungus might just happen to be there - what is the effectiveness of Fenbendazol against cancers? Very,very low.
      The same about CBD oil. My close friend has just lost his wife (52y) to cancer despite using self-made high quality CBD oil,hemp products and anti-parasites. I wish it was that simple.

    • @iansmith587
      @iansmith587 Год назад +3

      @@ms-jl6dl go and read my comment again, over 17000 tumors from 35 different types of cancer all were found to contain malassezia. The first study on pancreatic cancer, when administered antifungals the tumors stopped growing then they administered malassezia back into the mice and the tumors started growing again. Further your friends wife took cbd oil which doesn't cure cancer, and what type of anti parasiticals did she take? What type of cancer did she have? At what stage did she commence her treatment? Had the cancer already metastisized before diagnosis? Enter into Google similarities of tuberculosis to cancer. TB is caused by a mycobacteria i.e a fungal type of organism and cancer is from a random genetic mutation. Just by sheer coincidence TB affects all the same organs including skin, bones, brain, etc. Metastasizes as does cancer and TB can at times can form part of a cancerous tumor. Most people have been exposed to the TB bacterium and it causes no harm in most. Likewise I would suggest malassezia the same.

      Sugar has 4 calories per gram and fat has 9 calories per gram. A TBS of sugar has 50 calories and is burned, but a TBS of olive oil has 120 calories and it is stored. The way to gain weight from sugar is to put it in a liquid form and drink it all day long.

    • @charliesgrumma5388
      @charliesgrumma5388 Год назад

      *Yes. Fruit is loaded with fructose and this raises your glucose which spikes your insulin. Look up Dr. Ken Berry and "The Proper Human Diet". These quacks have no idea how to even cure type 2 diabetes let alone know what the proper diet is.*

    • @TheMossReport
      @TheMossReport  Год назад +2

      The body doesn’t really distinguish between high glycemic foods like many fruits, and plain sugar. Too much leads to metabolic imbalances and then other ailments.

      If you are concerned about the amount of fruit you are eating you can buy a glucometer and check your blood sugar after eating fruit and see if your blood sugar is spiking.

      Dr. Moss is very frank about not wanting to change his diet and give up his pasta and comfort foods . That's because sugar ( and pastas that quickly break down to sugar) are ADDICTIVE. See lectures by Dr. Robert Lustig. Note that although Dr Moss has brought down his blood sugars admirably, saying his fasting sugars are usually less than 126 optimal blood sugar is 80-100.

  • @joey9562

    What about fruit sugar?

    • @TheMossReport
      @TheMossReport  Год назад +1

      Sugar is sugar to the metabolism

    • @lindajones4849
      @lindajones4849 2 месяца назад

      Table sugar is a combination of two molecules : glucose and fructose . See lectures by Drs Robert Lustig and Rick Johnson. Fructose actually slows metabolism by knocking out 3 enzymes that the mitochondria need to function ( Dr Lustig) . Excess fructose ( think bears gorging on berries prior to hibernation) can flip a metabolic switch ,the brain detects the decreased ATP production and triggers a foraging response ( think munching out while watching TV in the he case of people. In animals it results in weight gain to survive winter with food shortages.Per Dr Lustig limited amounts of fruit is fine because most fruit comes with fiber that slows absorption of fructose giving the microbiome a chance to use up some of the fructose .

    You say "Shop intelligently; if you want to be really healthy, then that's what you have to do"! How about hunting for your meat; fishing for your fish; growing your own herbs, veggies and fruits; foraging for wild edible seaweeds, berries, roots, nuts and so-called 'weeds'; brewing your own alcohol/ACV..; making your own detergents - from natural mineral compounds (Borax/Baking Soda/Washing Soda..); obtaining all the necessary free fresh air and Vit.D and exercise in the process; bartering your surplus with neighbour's surpluses - or just use kindness and generosity and reciprocity; using nature's remedies for ailments; avoiding anything with a copyrighted 'brand'. So who actually really needs so-called 'supermarkets' or 'pharmacies'! Our ancestors survived and thrived for millennia without either (or we wouldn't be here). Keep up the great videos.

    Dr. Marty Makary wrote a book called Blind Spots: when medicine gets it wrong . The " eat anything you want" mantra of oncologists is certainly the epitome of a blind spot. Because my mothers oncologist said there was nothing she could doto help herself with diet so anything my sister and i said fell on deaf ears. All the so called gentle chemo did was give her cardiac issues during the last year of her life.
