8:47 Fuck it, I'm subbing to your drums streams after hearing you play this killer gem!
The USB logo was hidden as they used the ”high-speed” logo which means USB 2.0 but the thump only has USB 1.1
Mmm, that is scummy. :/ Well, companies were just as much as liars and manipulators in 2004 as they are in 2022, except much greedier nowadays.
@@thatguyalex2835 I don't think you're getting it. They made a mistake printing stuff out on the boxes, but didn't wanna just waste a bunch of packaging, so they slapped a sticker to conceal their mistake. If anything, it's the opposite of scummy. Just leaving it there in plain sight, that would've been scummy.
@@pvshka Well, they should have corrected it before making too many boxes, but I see. Nobody is perfect. :) At least the 2.0 logo was covered up, to be honest.
so, ive been reviewing a modern reincarnation of these, the Soundcore frames, and as much as I hated the oakleys, I do kinda love the Soundcores, maybe because I got my actual prescription put in them so I'm always wearing some earbuds
Woah wtf? You can get your prescription put into em? I might have to check those out
@@FatCatCooper yeah, my opticians are "vision express" here in the UK, they charge £69 (nice) for custom frames, and then £30 more for anti glare coating, which seems like more that it should be.
Soundcore is great.
Really love how entertaining this man is talking about what he loves
Ever since I was a kid I’ve always thought about the idea of wireless earpieces connected to sunglasses or a hat. Maybe when the Google glass is actually good and apple eventually copies it my dream will come true.
China makes these, like exactly the same. I had a pair a couple years ago and they weren’t terrible.
Bose has a pair of bone conducting sunglasses that connect to your phone over Bluetooth. Also the new Ray Ban stories from Facebook have small speakers built into the frame.
I have the bone conducting shades from Bose. They're awesome and don't look as weird as these things. The future you wish for is already here.
My brother had a pair of these. I'd always wear them when we went to his football games and listen to Colt 45 on repeat. These will always be great in my heart
When he said "thongs" when dads mow the lawn, I was extremely confused, the I remembered they're just sandals
