    Hare and rabbit are very different animals that had convergent evolution. They cannot interbreed at all. There are no wild rabbits in India only hare. It is like how different creatures evolve to become crabs.

      What you are saying is absolutely right. We do know that but we have mentioned likewise for the people who are not so familiar with wildlife. Our aim with these videos is to get people to have a glimpse of what is around us. People who develop the next stage of interest will surely figure out the difference.

      Hares and rabbits are in the same family but different genus. The connection between the two would be more like divergent evolution.

    Please change the title, Rabbits are not hares!

    • @KNFngo
      @KNFngo  5 лет назад +2

      We sure do know that, my friend , that's why in the video thumbnail we have mentioned that. We also included Indian wild rabbit because "hare" is a word that most non wildlife people are not accustomed to. we are not aiming at people who are into wildlife, we post these videos so that people who are unaware of wildlife get a glimpse.

    • @KNFngo
      @KNFngo  3 года назад +3

      No, you cannot. They are protected wildlife species, so its illegal to catch them. There is hefty fine and imprisonment
