What a pleasure it is to listen to Lang Lang speaking up his thoughts about what it means to him performing classical pieces on piano,or about his learning years and training drills. The interviewer seems to be having the time of his life, too. Excellent piece!!!
I was really touched when he talked about the performances he cried. It made me feel really impressed specially because of his feelings about the English teacher. It was a great interview
The interviewer is very well prepared not to ask him redundant and repeated questions and all the contents were new, exept the last question, a little bit strange. His rendition is awesome.
I only watched like a minute of this in fast forward because Bang Bang = bland bland, as everyone knowledgeable about classical music is painfully aware of. Can confirm the "interview" is as shallow and full of commonplaces as expected. The interviewer however is a little gem. Adresses the most trivial and unimaginative questions with an expression on his face as if he was expecting an answer from the Pythia of Delphi. Relax, dude, it's only the Bangia of Beiji!! 🎉
Oh mr god, how could anyone denying the talent, emotion etc, that simply pour out of this man, he is, in every sense, a Maestro and Virtuoso, great interview!🇦🇺
Why doesn't he speak a few sentences in Chinese just to impress all the viewers? He could fit it in. I know I would if I could!! Such a very human thing to do, and it would give a perspective we never see. I have fellow musician friends who criticize Lang Lang, but I don't think they understand how very accomplished he is in so many areas of life..
Did Lang Lang actually. Release a record with Herbie ?i m not good w iPad Joanna ,hope it s ok to ask if you te from Greece I was there for concert tour April 20 1967. Terrible time for Greece Please give Marek congratulations for interview
Hardly a 12th. So his range is a 11th, which is still huge haha (I have a 9th, hardly a 10th). He kind of has hands as huge as Liszt's, who could reach a 13th but in pianos which had smaller keys.
The Chinese pianist Lang Lang used to be notorious for his selfishness because he deliberately disturbed his neighbors by playing the piano when he was young. How selfish!
