Neither does my bladder, so who cares? In the amount of time it takes us to use the restroom and grab a snack our Kia EV9 is usually charged to 80%, 90% if we end up talking to folks at the charging station.
That Cadi is a fine contender, but coordinating shoots like this is much harder than it looks, ESPECIALLY with these new EVs and getting them in a video all at one time. But maybe down the line we’ll do a more comprehensive comparison with even more midsized Luxury EVs because more are popping up all the time, and every now and then the stars align for us to give you all some of the great content you came for! 🎉
So the R8's interior got mixed reviews but the EQE and its laggy, superbly complicated (unintuitive) and fingerprint magnet screen (which is 99% of the dash) is something you have no problem recommending? Long gone are the days of Micah's non-biased, common sensed reviews
Mike Danger - I hope you read this. I don’t like change. For years, Micah and Lyn were my KBB comfort zone. Then all the sudden, here comes this new face in front of the camera. You are absolutely knocking it out of the park with your presentations. You are a KBB treasure, Sir. Great comparison video!
Naw, they’re popular vehicles. We only had been able to book these 3 for the shoot. So we compared these 3 to each other. When we strike some luck and we’re able to get all the vehicles we request for the shoot, we dish out a more comprehensive comp! But hey, sadly to say we don’t own BMW or GM so we can’t just GET cars whenever we want 🤷🏾♂️ There’s layers to this.
@@yesmikedanger I live in a rural area, even though Savannah, Georgia is 50 miles away. When the Ford Mustang Mach E came out, I went on the Ford website to map out a trip to my Mom's in N.C. There was 1 charging station at that time that I could charge up on the way. Problem is, it's a 6 hour hwy trip with a ICE. If I were to have had the Mach E, I would have had to drive to Atlanta, Ga., which is almost 4 hours, then drive another 6 hours to get to my Mom's and would have run out of "juice" before I got there, with no way to charge it. So, for me currently, I'll stick with my 2024 Mustang GT, and get to her house in 5 hours, hauling ass and passing Prius'.
Eh, if that’s what you think then I’m sorry to see ya go because quite frankly… that’s the furthest from the truth. We did a comparison on EVs that we could shoot and compare within a certain time frame. The other EVs weren’t available at that time. So you know what that means? THE SHOW MUST GO ON! Plenty of people still would like to hear about these three and how they may stack up against each other, so maybe YOUR bias is what made you unsub. 🤔 #js.
Unfortunately yes. If they stop existing then we all have to go to damn gas stations. For 15 euros electricity I drive my Kona EV 1000 km. I was EV hater like you years ago now I love them but the oil mafia is successfully making more and more people part of anti EV religion. I'm 55 and so said that EVs have to disappear.
I'm a Taxi driver in Spain not a rich housewife and made already 58000 miles in one year. So far I enjoy my EV and of course also like fuel cars. But if possible I'd love not to go anymore to gas stations and pay huge amount of money every time. 15 euros electricity and I make 1000 KMS. My 200hp Kona EV is like my fast best partner
Politics is for sure a reason as mentioned. In addition, a lack of stable infrastructure and policy is also a big obstacle. Varying charge rates, wait times, charge prices, and inconsistent charging access make them super controversial. There is no consistent experience or oversight for the consumer. From a manufacturing standpoint, to make one EV you are giving up making X amount of non-EV’s. This creates supply issues elsewhere.
The Genesis' interior is far more elegant looking than the Merc's or Audi's interior.
Would like to have seen the price points of the vehicles as tested.
EQE SUV would be my choice ❤
I'd take the luxurious interior of the Genesis over the horrifically impractical and screen ridden mess that is the Mercedes any day of the week.
What about the Cadillac lyriq and the BMW IX
We couldn’t book em for the comparison 😩 But we’ll have more of these to come 👍
Terrific comparison Mr. Danger!
Thanks Stinger! It was a big team effort
So neither of these three gets above 300 miles of range.😅
Neither does my bladder, so who cares? In the amount of time it takes us to use the restroom and grab a snack our Kia EV9 is usually charged to 80%, 90% if we end up talking to folks at the charging station.
The EQE are all over Europe… AS TAXIS! LOL.
Great video!
Love these reviews !!!
Just make sure you lease only.
Why no mention of prices??
Buy used only , they drop 30-50% Value in first year 😵
Are you sure about that??😊
@@faithosadebe5293 yup
I had a Polstar 2 , $53k car dropped to $34k in under a year .
Highline EV worse Porsche Taycan drops $130k to $55k 2 yr

@@faithosadebe5293 what about spontaneous combustion? Why insurance so high on EVs .
@@Gadfly2025 okay.. Never knew that.. Wow
eqe is fugly, q8 looks old and boring, I'd take the GV70e

@@donwilber1628 Meh all facts, lol
Definitely i will choose Genesis regardless of the range distance ❤❤
This isn’t a luxury comparison if Cadillac Liriq isn’t there
I agree. It should be here too.
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 ROFL

Mercedes 😍😍😍
As a mid 20 year old I will never own one of these because I just can’t afford it. Even with 3 jobs
Where is the BMW IX
Ugly design

🥹 aww Cuda that means a lot to me! I really appreciate that and I’ll do my best!
The Audi and Benz are much much more expensive.
Audi for the win ❤❤❤
I like Chinese EV s . They are the best 🎉
Where is Cadillac Lyriq & BMW IX???? Looks like a Half-a$$ comparison..

None of these can compete with Tesla’s range, performance, value and charging infrastructure. Period.
Nope....Nope....and Nope!
Lol why, why, and WHY?! What are your thoughts…

It's a sad day when a Cadillac Liriq is shunned. That's why I unsubscribed from this channel; it appears to be bias

This channel is still going? Unsubbed when they did their pride colors 2 years ago. 7k views, seems like it's going well.
Meh, sounds like your’re in need of attention. But you can stay unsubbed leaving comments like that. 👋
What about Tesla?
Name a single luxury Tesla.
they said luxury
EV’s are already on their way out. Only rich housewives making 5 mile runs to the mall think these cars are a good idea.

But you are right unfortunately they are on their way out. We'll have to go pay expensive fuel to move
@@tonychristineandvinny786 Expensive fuel? You mean oil, that is taxed and restricted from extraction (like crazy) by “progressive” policies?
In what imaginary world, are EV’s controversial?
In America because ppl have politicized them
