Love it. I know exactly where that is haha me and my cousin went down calder in a rubber dinghy and we went down this stretch of canal too. I think because that small stretch of canal both ends go onto calder so when it rains alot and rivers up, the fish will take refuge in the canal. Som e decent stretches of canal and river on the mirfield book.
Some right perch there pal
Really enjoy watching the fishing Adam.
Appreciate the support steve 👍
When it rains.......................👌
I've had some fantastic fish in the rain need a brolly just to keep dryish but that was a good roach 🎣

Hi Adam. Greetings once more from my little town in country Victoria, Australia. Thought you might like to know what fish I catch in my local lake.
We have European carp (which are classed as vermin here and it is illegal to throw them back alive), Redfin (just another name for English freshwater perch), Rainbow trout (which the local council stock the lake with twice a year), long finned eels and a local species of blackfish (a small fish a little like Gudgeon). There are also supposed to be Yellow belly, a local species a bit like carp, but I have never seen one caught in that lake.
As you can see, in many ways, fishing my local lake is not that dissimilar to fishing a lake anywhere in the UK.
That's a good variety of fish you have to go at I can imagine the weather is very dissimilar though 😅 thanks for watching David

@@dpmaspam You must have no clue about music then, anything goes and easily pleased right? I am sure you like Sci fi films and horror films right!?

Nice roach Adam! Well done pal! Tell me ....what is the test curve on your tip?
4:49
Bit wet mate nice rubber gloves
Cracking bit of fishing that buddy 🐟🐟🐠🎣
Despite the ulcer what a fine roach..bit of antiseptic would be handy..
Beautiful roach! It looked like a bite mark almost there where no signs of infection or rot just a hole I'm sure nature will do its thing
I thought there was a rule about not fishing between 2 moored boats on a canal. Nice to see a non club member fishing on a canal though. When I've been on narrowboat holidays all the best fishing stretches have been owned by clubs and the place to get permits have been a long way away or available from shops that were closed. Keep up the good work.
Just so you know, they own the bank rights only and you can legally fish from the boat without any club license. They will tell you the opposite but it is arguable in law. The only exception is if the club has rights to both banks. It's all civil law anyway and they cant trespass you from the towpath anyway. Just stop you fishing from it.
Defo a 2lb Roach that Adam mate lol Doesn't you Other half mind you doing all this fishing ? Tight lines buddy
I'm single and not willing to mingle I've found piece and its fishing
@@AdamsFishingAdventures Good lad i cant fault ya at all my mate 👍
Two pounds think you do need some scales and quick 😵💫😵💫😵💫
Get a brolly mate
I've got two
I had hoped you would have put it back in straight away considering the large area of damage/ulcer. The keep net not helped at all.
It will heal itself and live a long happy life
Or it wont
That’s a fantastic roach . Looks like it’s been had by a lamprey I have seen this before
With the roundness of the mark I'd say same
Great Heck is where you need need to be the anglers car park , park and kip for nowt , bay horse boozer 2 mins walk
have you thought about carrying fish antiseptic ?
The problem is that these are all non-selective cell killers. So, while they will kill disease organism cells, they will also kill cells in the fish’s gills. A disinfectant works by denaturing proteins in any living cell exposed to it. These living cells include bacteria, ich trophonts, parasites, plant leaves and fish gills. Nature will do its thing
@@AdamsFishingAdventures Now that's what you call "an answer".
Well said.
