Halle Berry Breaks Down Her Career, from 'X-Men' to 'Bruised' | Vanity Fair Развлечения
Halle Berry just exudes good energy. Such an authentic human being.
She said "young black filmmaker..". Why she is racist? Divides people into black and other?
@@irekip what
@@laurenlocal2011 why do need info about the color of his skin? Why she divides people by the color of the skin. Is that not racism?
@@irekip pointing out someone's race in itself is not necessarily racist, lots of things are confused with racism, if you want to know what is racism ask yourself " is this a negative force the attacks peoples wellbeing/socioeconomic standing or harms others perception of different races?"
@Sphen, so can I stress that the filmmaker is white? I know that in the USA I would be condemned and labeled a racist. there is no logic here
Halle's appearance at the Razzies was iconic. So much respect to her for showing up and owning it.
I wish they made another X-Men movie with the original crew. Really would love to see Halle, Hugh Jackman, etc again.
Same here. That original cast was amazing!
Yessss!!!!!!!!
Deadpool 3 or avengers secret war!
Why don't they ever point out, "Losing Isaiah" ...she was phenomenal in it!
She was as was Jessica Lange . Love her in everything but Frankie and Alice is another one
@@cinematicaddict6863 yeeeeeeeees! I forgot it was The incomparable, Ms. Lange!
@@JoseYuri yes the movie is beautiful. They definitely shared great chemistry wish they worked together again .
It was a big flop though, wasn’t it?
@@bradleym7319 no
I CANNOT believe the beautiful Halle Berry is 55 yrs old! She still looks greater than ever 🤩
Just like fine wine. She gets better with age.
what she did to her first husband was beyond horrible , no icon at all (poor dude coudnt see his son)
@@PEPSIMAX2013 tf are you talking about?
Black don't crack man. We age greatly
@@junemoon1664 You know exactly what he’s talking about.
Storm was my introduction to Halle Berry, hearing that she’s open to playing her again gives me hope she’ll appear in Multiverse of Madness. She was also one of my first crushes lol love me some Halle Berry
I had no idea that Shonda Rhimes wrote the screenplay for Introducing Dorothy Dandridge.
She’s been in this business for much longer than I ever realized.
She’s just genuinely a warm hearted, honest, down to earth woman and what a career she’s had! 🙏 Halle is a truly exceptional actresses who really puts 110% in any role whether it’s a low budget indie, a blockbuster or a b movie.
Totally!
I'm a one man band on youtube. Hope you can enjoy one of my songs.
@@gboard17 thanks Greg I will check out your videos! 👏🏼
Some fans may not have liked her as Storm, but I totally did. Especially in The Last Stand and DOFP where she really looked like a leader. 💖
Same here.
We didn't liked her because she's a lightskin biracial woman, Storm is a subsaharian darkskinned black woman
I do love her on that. And also her catwoman.
@@TheSamuelbest12 Oh yes, nothing like the only criticism you have is racial.
Love her. I really wish they put the Storm and Wolverine scene in the actual X-Men movie, but I'm glad she talked about it
Actually they put that scene in Days of future past: rogue’s cut, you should check
She’s no longer storm material
@@adale2771 take that back u hater🌪️🌫️❄️🌩️🌧️🌬️
@@adale2771 LOL yeah right! She’s better looking, and in better shape, than ANY actress they could attempt to get to replace her. 🤷🏽♀️
@@baseballchica1346 Lots of actresses are out there who could replace her, maybe not as well known as her but they are their . Facts ,get over it !
I DEFINITELY want to see her direct a new Catwoman movie.
pllleeeeeeaaaassee!!! Netflix betta give her some money!
I'm a one man band on youtube. Hope you can enjoy one of my songs.
@@xaviercooper599 Netflix doesn’t own DC
@@adamsbriee6330 netflix does have certain dc characters, like sandman although prob not catwomen
Me too,!!!!!!!!
Halle looks like she is in her thirties. I can't believe she is 55 years young. I love her because she is a great actress and a decent human being.
Halle looks great, she looks after her health and mantains it through her diet and exercise without botox etc. However, Halle does look about 50 and not in her 30s. She is blessed with a great bone structure and yes, does look younger than 55, but I wouldn't put her in her 30s anymore. That was when she played Storm and in Monster's ball etc.
@@vaw796she looks like she in her 30s to me
B.A.Ps is one of my favorite Halle movies. She really is great at comedy and that movie proved it!
I'm loving all the press Halle has been doing for every media publication. She's truly an Iconic beauty
@Geniffer💞 stfu with thz kinda cmmnt
Halle Berry as Storm was iconic. Though I’m sad to say she Halle Berry was in a era of bad writing and directors. She was technically the first villain movie am I wrong?
First
second lol
She’s really a star. They don’t make them like her anymore.
Monster's Ball really affected me. I remember seeing it the first time, I saw it by myself and when it was over I sat in theater for several minutes just reflecting. Boy, what a powerful movie and performances all around.
So great to see Halle here. She is one of my favorite actresses. I wish they had covered more of her 90s movies like BAPS, Executive Decision, and Losing Isaiah
She said she loves storms evolution but sadly her character was never given that depth to expand. Aesthetically she looked good but her arc in almost every film except X2 was hollow at best. If Kevin Feige can find a way to reintroduce Halle as a variant of Storm within this multiverse narrative that would be awesome. She needs a proper send off.
I absolutely wholeheartedly agree!!! Storm has always been my favorite character of the X-MEN franchises.⛈👩🏾🦳⚡️
@@michaeld.williamsiii9026 She’s my favourite character too. She was nerfed badly in the movies and even the younger version of the character played by Alexandra Shipp in the First Class movies failed to add anything new either.
Her power-set in both versions is crude, generic. All they’ve done is show her summon some lightning, some tornados and levitation due to wind manipulation. Storm is an omega level mutant, her feats in the comics far exceeded what she’s done on film. The 90s animated show depicted a storm who was easily one of the teams most powerful mutants. How many times was she used as the final solution in a battle against multiple enemies (armed forces, sentinels) or more powerful ones (juggernaut, omega red, nimrod).
I can’t wait to see an authentic version of the character done right. In Fiege I trust.
@@master-of-mind5881 I absolutely and wholeheartedly once again fully agree with you, even in Halle’s feedback in discussing the Storm character. Along with her portraying her certainly instills that Storm deserves her proper justice and send off on film just like a Jean Grey/Phoenix was in the films...
@@master-of-mind5881 By the way First Class was a movie by itself.
90s animated Storm will forever be my Storm ❤❤❤

A Catwoman movie directed and starring Halle Berry. I'd watch that.
Seems to be a lot of movies missing here..?
Really loved when she showed up for the Razzies.
Every choice she has made has been brave. She literally doesn't care what people think. Doesn't take herself too seriously. If she is going to enjoy the experience, she will make the movie.
Who doesn't love her?
Wish they’d asked her about Cloud Atlas. Would love to hear her insights on making that film. Such an ambitious story told well by the Wachowskis!
I thought you were gonna say why did she think it was ok to be in whiteface. Lol
I do like the Cloud Atlas film and thought she along with Tom Hanks were pretty incredible in the film. 🎥👸🏽💫
@@michaeld.williamsiii9026 I agree with you and Liam.
@@liljay216 he looked exactly like Madonna in die another day’as a white lady
She is so well spoken, love her
I totally agree with you.
Halle Berry is still an absolutely beautiful , intelligent and an amazing actress. She doesnt age at all! 😍😍😍
Can't believe they featured Cat Woman and not Cloud Atlas! ..An absolute masterpiece.
She's still so beautiful and such a sweet heart. She's the real deal with a serious capacity to transform herself. I've enjoyed watching her over the years
She earnt my respect when she turned up at the Razzies. I just love Halle. She's so down to earth
She's so well spoken I admire that
30 years in the game.
Such a long way.
So proud of her.
Wonderfully humble, genuine, inspiring and talented woman. I can't believe she didn't talk about Gothika though. That movie is so fire!
Absolutely loving all this shine Halle is getting, thanks to the huge success of Bruised🙌🙌
Also, for those who don’t know Ms Berry’s social media game is on point - She’s super funny. She talks to fans. And she also shares cool tidbits about her old, iconic films ☕️🙌
I love Halle Berry! She is such a solid actress. I've always enjoyed her films. So smart and beautiful. A true role model.
I am beyond ready for her to put back on the silver wig and get the focus Storm deserves
Her chugging the glass of whiskey at that comic con panel then seeing her afterwards was classic.
She’s such an inspirational person.
I love how down to earth she is....such a great human being.
Bruised was impressive. I’m impressed with Halley’s filmmaking skills.
What is it all about?
@@damariowilson2350 It’s about a woman MMA fighter who’s trying to stay out of the fighting world but gets roped (pardon the pun) back in when she needs a significant amount of money to get out of a bind.
@@warmcozy thanks much for the deeet
She's the definition of lovely.
This was a great show I love Halle Berry she is so humble.
Boomerang will always be one of my favorite movies. It’s the first thing I saw Halle Berry in and she killed that role.
Love this woman! She’s so intelligent and down to earth as well as not taking herself too seriously - plus who else loves catwoman and thinks it was unfairly criticised?
I definitely liked that movie! And loved Halle in it! I loved her Cat women! Just my opinion! HOWEVER…… I HATED that storyline lmao 🤣
It was justified the criticism as Catwoman is an awful movie but not due to her fault as the script/story and the direction were the main problems.
She is literally so humble for such an icon
She is a fantastic actress & director and I'm ALWAYS excited to see what she does next.
Bruised is one of my favorite Halle performances.
My favorite role of hers is the title role in Alex Haley's mini-series Queen. If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and remedy that as soon as you can!
Two of my favorites not mentioned, Frankie & Alice, & Losing Isiah. Frankie & Alice was absolutely phenomenal!
The Call too
She really proves that age is just a number
I need to see Halle Berry directing a new " Catwoman "!!! Oh God, we need to see this!!!
I wish she did more interviews shes 1 of my faves
I love her she’s so humble, my fav!
SHE IS SUCH A HUMBLE QUEEN LIKE SIS ALWAYS REPLIES TO HER FANS ON INSTAGRAM DESPITE HAVING OVER A MILLION FOLLOWERS 💙💙💙
I liked this before I even watched 🥰🥰This is super corny but Halle Berry is one of my favorite celebrities , she was the reason I wanted to become an actress!
This video should have WAAAY more views man!
She should do more comedies as she was hilarious getting that razzie. The fact she wants to come back to Catwoman and also direct I would love to see that. Make a proper Catwoman movie add Black Mask, Holly Robinson and some Batman Easter eggs as well and then it will be better than the 2004 movie.
Idk y Patty Jenkins didnt just cast her as Cheetah in Wonder woman 1984, to make up for Catwoman
Oh admit it! We all came here to listen to Halle Berry talk about Catwoman
Wow .. she is stellar. I never knew she was so down to Earth
She is such a beautiful talented strong and intelligent woman. You're great "Halle Berry🌟👏🏽
Living legend. I luv me some Halle Berry. She is aging so beautifully and GRACEFULLY 😌🔥😊
My Halle. I've loved her since Living Dolls. She's amazing.
Respect to her for showing up to the Razzies, well deserved, just like her Oscar, and accepted with such humility! 👏🏻
Wow such a humble person who is so multifaceted and talented 👏🏼 ❤️
So inspiring! 😭
She is such a great symbol for our community, and I'm excited to see what she does next. 🥰❤️
I'm a one man band on youtube. Hope you can enjoy one of my songs.
She’s so chill
“If we could find a version that would make sense or a storyline that would make sense, I would absolutely do that for sure.” Maybe, she will return as Storm in the MCU? And, she is hinting at it?
🤞I hope so
She's great. Just so cool and inspiring.
She's a amazing fantastic actress 👏🏾 one of my favorites ❤
Losing Isaiah was such a great movie too. Her part in this movie was amazing!
Halle Berry is always so beautiful and authentic! Love her as an actress and a person!
I'm sad she didn't mentioned Cloud Atlas, I love that movie and having her comments would have been awesome
She’s soooo pretty
love her stories
we love you in every movie you ever played ,more beautiful then ever , bruised was amazing preformence ,wating for your next one .....
I loved her in the Extant series. I can't wait for her 2023 releases. Love you and everything you do, Halle. ❤
I loved her in Bruised!!!
yes
Halle will forever have my heart 💜
Iconic Lady for the ages: She can do any role.
She’s so beautiful 🤩.
Yesss they showed her talking about Catwoman!!
I love and hate this series …. I love hearing about an actors journey but I hate the fact the each timeline will miss certain films and fails to say “Timeline of their career so far!”
I loved her as Storm
12:58 "Se você não consegue ser um bom perdedor, então não merece ser um bom ganhador" Essa doeu em mim.
Shes so beautiful. Hope she gets more acting roles.
Love Halle. Can’t believe she didn’t talk about swordfish though! That was a huge movie for her too
she is so stunning
I would have loved if they would have touched on BAPS. It’s iconic and one of the few comedies she’s done.
I just watched that movie lol on netflix. Its so funny. Perfect female comedy duo👍🏼☺️i dont think 2 other black women can make that today an have the best chemistry that they did.
I was obsessed with you as a kid💗💗
I love her!!
I Think If She Was Storm In The Marvel Cinematic Universe Instead Of Fox Inc She Would Have Been Even Better ! ⛈
She is so pretty and her hair is always so cute :)
How awesome would it be if she could direct a Catwoman movie with Zoë Kravitz playing Catwoman? Like as a spin-off or sequel to the new Batman movie
Yes Zoe Kravitz!
I just love her.
Her performance as Storm is my favorite. It seems she was born to play that role.
OMG I LOVED Halle in Dorothy Dandrige.
Bless you Halle! You're an inspiration!!
Halle is a great actress with one of my favorites is her as Nina in Bulworth. Halle and Hugh as a Wolverine and Storm would be an Amazing story! Pity Hugh doesn't want to come back but I get why. Halle really was a great Storm, especially in X-Men 3. I hope she's welcomed back to the MCU, a wasted opportunity otherwise.
Umm Vanity Fair.. I’m not sure whose in charge but we should’ve talked about BAPS, Cloud Atlas, Boomerang and so much more!!
I loved her in BAPS and as Storm…
I LOVE her so much Halle Berry your amazing & we ❤ U!
