How can we go to sim setting when the problem is the device being unable to read/detect sim? Setting is not available for sim if the device doesn't detect sim in first place. My problem is my device sim slot is working and so is my sim but the device doesn't detect the sim, idk why but i don't think anyone would have solution for this

Airtel intentionally shuts the sim so that the customers can buy new sim. No matter what tricks you use, you cannot on your Airtel sim after that. The only option is to go to Airtel store and buy a replacement.

Sir I want to mention that, the problem of no detection of SIM card by the mobile device may occur due to physical wear of SIM (which happend in my case once). What happens actually that , the gold plates of the SIM are connected with eachother as metal weared out from both the plates and touches each other at the separation gap between the plates. The wearing happens due to friction between the plates of SIM and the connecting points on the SIM card slot (when SIM card is put in and out in the slot very often, this happens) So when the plates touch eachother it become shorted and not detected by the device . So if the gap between the plates are scratched and cleaned by a blade the problem may be solved.
My android is not only sim not detected but wifi and hotspot error not working, but Bluetooth is fine, even Bluetooth tethering works.. it sonetimes works fine, what's the causing it, bad network card or software? Restart used to work. Then all of the sudden nothing will work. Full factory reset did nothing. Sim works in other devices still so idk.

It is likely that the reader is no good. The price to replace the reader on a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is about $80. Probably not worth doing it.

Is IMEI problème if your phone not détecte sim. Change your IMEI adresse or reinstal New firmware Android
