It amazes me that who ever lived in this place would leave so much behind, this is definitely a rarity, a record diggers dream how many more abandoned properties like this is around. You certainly been having fun there Mack and survived.
THAT SAID, I STILL ENJOY ALL OF THE I BUY OLD RECORDS VIDEOS BECAUSE THAT GUY IS FUNNY. I HAVE THE EXACT SAME HOBBY MYSELF, EXCEPT I GRAB THEM ALL UNLESS THEY'RE BROKEN AND THEN LISTEN TO AND KEEP THEM ALL! I KIND OF UNDERSTAND WHY HE IS SO SELECTIVE FOR HIS NICHE RECORD BUSINESS BUT IT JUST BOTHERS ME WHEN I SPOT SO MANY GOOD ONES WITH MY EAGLE EYE THAT HE PASSES BY WITHOUT REGRET.
Lmao, this quite literally a record collector’s nightmare. A house straight out of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, filled with rare records, hours away from being demolished, set in the movie Outbreak.
I'd have wanted them all, it wouldn't matter who they were by or anything, it would have been worthwhile getting the chance to find things I'd not heard before, and there could have been some items that might have been uniquely one of a kind. But, each to their own, of course. It's great that you got something you wanted from in amongst it all!
6:50. Did anyone else scream when he said ,"This is about the time something jumps out and grabs me", and then opens that dead doll's coffin? Followed by "I don't want to go in here"'.
Mack that was a fantastic part 2 "the return of" episode..im so pleased or "chuffed to bits" as we say in the UK (well depending upon which part you live)..Some amazing finds im guessing..Pleased you finally scratched that itch brother👍👍👍
Hi Mack greetings from Australia glad you found the rest of those records love your adventures on the road watching you we still enjoy the thrill of the record hunt. Do you like one of my favourites Luke McDaniel AKA Jeff Daniels ? I thought he had a great voice and love his 50s country on Trumpet and King records and later rockabilly on Big Howdy and wow what about the stuff from the sessions at Sun that was not released till years later love your work cheers Carl
I Got the Herman Stone + Poem records today from you on Wolf-Tex. Im super happy for them and SOME Herman Stone are GOOD. I Will film and speak about them late march so stay tuned.
Great video as always. Any possibility of you making a video where you go through everything you found? Would love to know what gems you ended up with.
In remote parts of Europe estate agents/realtors give you the keys to abandoned houses. The odd record found, even the odd snake, some abandoned for years and relatively untouched. This was a proper dig Mack, would have been more exciting had it been being bulldozed whilst you were searching.
Omg bulldozed? Tragic on par with local after I told a distrib throw away nothing call me... weeks later they tossed ten double dumpsters of 35mm sci fi horror nudie kung fu and western exploitation movies, trailers, radio spots and posters. I never have gotten over the sick from that.
@@TheVinylGuru - Stumbled across this today: ruclips.net/video/VGfvY0TvyOk/видео.html Did you manage to find that Jimmie Lee Maslon scratchy you enquired about a while ago? It's not exactly an off-the-peg number but I don't think it's all that rare either - Rollin' Rock studio was a modestly big deal at the time.
You've PAID FOR ALL THE RECORDS RIGHT! Then take everything and sell/barter the ones you don't want. No room in the vehicle would be my problem, but with some creative thinking you can build a shelf platform on top of the bottom. The big boys in my neck of the woods always can get a large van or cube van. I'll admit I've been in your situation three times before. No light, cramped and the amount of mold almost killed me. Looking for those GRAILS requires patience and quickness in gathering as much as posible. Stay healthy and Peace.
I hope they took everything out of that house. There were stuff that would be great to bring to a thrift shop or an antique shope. I wouldn't call those Disney record and book sets junk records.
Having lunch break watching these - don't even know how many times I have seen these..... Love these!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone else yelling at their screen “take them all ?” I’ve learned that even if you don’t want them , someone does. Barter is best
I would have bought the Lot,cheap bound to get your money back and a lot more
No point in wasting time on junk that will sit forever. Better to grab the gold and move on
YES I'M YELLING AT THE SCREEN,"TAKE 'EM ALL MACK!!!"
THERE'S A MARKET TO SELL MORE THAN JUST YOUR PERSONAL PREFERENCES.

Alan Boas I get it too. That said I’d still grab them and either trade I. For cash at record stores or donate to goodwill for tax write off
I know little to nothing about this genre. Still these videos are so immensely fun and satisfying.

This is one of the best adventures you've shown us. Memorable.

Fever pitch excitement with the finds in the box. Great video. I cannot believe they left all those records behind
If you put yourself out there enough you’ll make some great finds. I’ve gone weeks without finding anything.but I don’t get discouraged.
Incredible video. Thanks for taking us along on this visit; both a picker’s dream and a nightmare...

Hope you didn't leave behind a future monster tune Mack. Great vid

Great Stuff! Looking forward to part 3. Hoping you got some cool titles.......👍
Omg I saw a hall of presidents lp in there. 😮 probably minty. We have a sealed one here but I'd like a second one to spin..
That 45 is rare enough to be desirable even if cracked.
What a fascinating trip.
just got myself an cracked copy of the Harold Montgomery one too :)
Great dig Mack!
Lair of the Wolf-Tex. That took some cojones to go snooping around while it was asleep in the cellar.
That was like watching the Blair record project
You should pick up everything
I CONCUR DEMETRIOS. HE SHOULD PICK UP EVERYTHING THEN SORT THE LOT OUT ONCE HE GETS HOME.
LOTS OF WASTED TIME LOOKING WHEN HE COULD BE GRABBING.
Limited time, the limited space in the Honda, limited storage at home.
I'd be compelled to do a one month storage rental within blocks and just try to haul all of it to sort later. Grab haul return grab haul return
Did the record play through ok is what I’m wondering?
It did!! Was ever so pleased.
Why didn’t you just take them all??
Took what I could, all the 45s and 78s. Lps were moldy c&w for the most part. Let the guy junk em instead of me
Since there was an Overstreet Price Guide there, did you also find some old comic books?
Sadly no I did a quick flip through a stack of comics but it looked to be stuff from the '90s on up and really ratty shape.

Silverfish and black mold. The life of the record digger
Take the lot dude!!
The creepy doll in what looked like a coffin!!!
Oh i wish i were there.

Look up Disneyland haunted mansion on popsike.
I could just smell the glorious mustiness
Hey, Mack can't necessarily help that. At least he changed his T-shirt.
@@herbert9241 hahahaha mack rules.

Yes and sadly I've got no room for a huge amount of junk records in my storage at the moment.
I hate to see the place bulldozed with the LPS and such in there wish you would have taken them as well even the modern stuff has a value to somebody
Nah I’m sure someone in the area will plunder this place come the 11th hour
What name u looking for
I hope they took everything out of that house. There were stuff that would be great to bring to a thrift shop or an antique shope. I wouldn't call those Disney record and book sets junk records.
There in the boot of your car
Why didn't you just go through all of them at home instead of missing the grails between kid records
Who gave you permission to enter my summertime property ? Im calling the authorities !!!!
I will send my body out to be dry cleaner . Fabulous.HaHa .
Why not take everything and donate what you don’t want to save from the bulldozer
