    In the bios go to "Advanced mode" (f7), then in the boot tab, and deactivate the option "allow the use of F1 in case of error". So it starts you alone without the need to give that combination of keys.
    This error happens due to a problem with the disk.

    This is most unfortunate for me. Because of my living situation, I live in an RV with an inverter-generator that I have to power down every night before bed. So every night before I power down, I turn off my desktop computer and switch off the PSU then hit the power button to basically drain the motherboard. Before coming here, I had a strong feeling that it was my CMOS because of the symptoms, but failed to realize what I was doing every night to my desktop. My question is; Should I now just turn off my desktop as normal and leave it that way? Regardless, I am unable to keep power to my desktop at all times.

    I left a very negative comment here the other day, for no good reason at all, and I’ve since deleted it because it just wasn’t right. I was angry at the problem and my inability to fix it or find a solution, and took it out on you because I’m an asshole and was looking to blame anything but myself.
    But that’s still no excuse at all to be a dick like I was, and I’m very sorry for everything I said. I sincerely hope you did not take any of it to heart. You didn’t deserve that at all, I doubt any of what I said was true, and I’m sure you know your stuff very well.

    does a dead battery cause any other problems with the pc or only this little pop up post save mode?

    • @im_smart_guy
      @im_smart_guy 11 месяцев назад

      Probably not... Because the battery only use for saving bios settings... So if CMOS battery died.. only fev things happened but it's not have any issue..
      1. Everytime when turn on pc, need to press F1
      2. BIOS settings reset to default (if you not customise any bios setting, then not problem)
      3. System Time & date reset, but after computer boot, windows time automatically update, if you not turn off auto update time and date (because CMOS battery also remember time and date, when motherboard not give power)...
      So, Simply you can use your pc normally, without any issue......
