at 1st i thought the cmos battery is dead, so i replace it. but the post always show, and now i see your video.. problem solve. thank you my friend 👍👍👍
Switching boot priority in Bios from windows boot and disabling the F1 in Advance Settings in Bios was enough to boot normally without changing the motherboard's circular battery next to the CPU.
To the people that weren't able to make it work because F2 or F1 buttons weren't responding, i have found a fix. I do not know if its for everyone but i will tell you how i fixed it for myself. I opened the case of my computer and i was messing around with the parts alot and testing absolutely everything out. Untill i unplugged my cpu cooler and replaced it back in. I restarted my computer and everything worked as normal. So basically what i can tell you is, look for loose parts in your computer or try replacing your parts out and in again. Hopefully it works for you too!
HOLLY SHIT!!! I cannot tell you how many videos I’ve watched and didn’t worked. Even read some comments that also didn’t work. But this video this all I had to do was just disabled the f1 setup then done, thanks g 🙏🏻
Hello, I have this same problem, I have some doubts after watching your video (I do not understand anything about BIOS, systems and all that): 1) You do two similar processes, one before and one after changing the battery. In the first one you disable the option "wait for F1 error", then restart the PC, and the same error appears again, then I ask: 1.A) Is THIS (the fact that the same error reappears) a signal indicating that the battery needs to be changed? And if it is, 1.B) Why after having replaced it, do you not reactivate the option you disabled ("wait for F1 error") to leave everything as it was before? 1.C) After changing the battery, you set the time, but is it necessary? Does the computer not take the Internet time automatically? 2) My brother-in-law (systems engineer) told me through WhatsApp, that the system does not find the operating system, and that the error could be due to the dead battery, or that the hard drive was damaged (but he can not fix the problem, "due to lack of time" :(. This is very important to me, desperating rather, because I work with this computer...). So I ask, if I changed the battery, and the error still persisted, would that mean, UNEQUIVOCALLY, that my hard drive is damaged? Or is there some other component that could be broken instead? I thank you very much for this excellent video, which you have so generously shared, and for your time and attention! Best regards!

My problem is that when this error shows up, it says my keyboard is detected but when i press F1 key pc does not respond to it. I tried all the other ports as well issue remains the same
Replaced CMOS battery. After powering up PC, a prompt to continue by pressing the F2 button shows up hours later. PC works fine. How do I get to the normal login screen without having to press the F2 button every time?
Yes it work. My display is a bit different as it is a new motherboard. As i can't dis-enable it, i let it stay as enable, next click Boot then save and exist. When restart again it is solved. Big thank you. 😃😃 Subscribed
What if there is no F1 option. It doesn’t let me press any keys. It just shuts down after 15 seconds Edit: I was able to fix my issue by replacing the battery on the motherboard. Hope this helps someone else.
I tried this but didn't work. Thought I'd swap the battery again to make sure.... the new battery didn't work as I left the safety sticker on it!!! Working now 😂😂
My problem is that after entering American megatrends and pressing enter, there is no response. The keyboard and mouse numbers are also displayed abnormally.
@@Braseba Claro, tal cual lo indica el video hay que deshabilitar la opción "wait for f1 if error" minuto 1:09 guardas cambios y cuando reinicies, ya se irá directo al boot sin avisarte el error que te pide teclear f1. saludos!
Mine is stuck on American Megatrends but there’s no text underneath. No option for F2 or F11. This happened on a new build after I tried to update bios. Bios instant flash started, display went off and after restarts I’m forever stuck on the logo with no options. I already took out ram, cmos for 30+ minutes. Did I brick something?
Actually whenever I'm turning my pc on it shows a screen where it'll be like gigabyte ultra durable and below that something like press del for bios etc etc for a few seconds and then comes windows login screen. But now whenever i start my pc first the screen remains black for 15-20 seconds and straight away shows windows login screen i cant see that bios screen which I was seeing before and also I can't access my bios right now but I can use my windows as usual please help me Im using gigabyte H310M S2 2.0 any help is appreciable sorry for my bad english as english is not my first language
After I did this, the screen said “The current BIOS setting do not fully support the boot device. Click OK to enter the BIOS Setup. Go to Advanced > Boot > CSM Parameters, and adjust the CSM (CompatibilIty Support Module) settings to enable the boot device.” I followed the directions and my computer finally started working. I’m in my last semester of grad school and almost shit myself when my computer stopped working.

Thanksgivings for your very helpful video.
My desktop screen started displaying very thin blurr lines. Is it a problem of CPU port where we attach monitor blue cable?
You just probably saved my pc. It still boots really slow. I just installed a new ddr4 16gb ram and it started actinh like this.
Replaced CMOS battery. After powering up PC, a prompt to continue by pressing the F2 button shows up hours later. PC works fine. How do I get to the normal login screen without having to press the F2 button every time?
Figure it outv
Love it, thanks bro!
Tq brother it worked 💗
Thank you it workes
Thanks sir you saved my friends pc and saved his money
I avoid this by not connecting the keyboard while turning on the device. I have been doing this for four years😂, until I found a video thanks

So if turning off "Wait for F1" works you don't have to change the battery?
Then why is there an error in the first place? 🤔
It's work!

Turning the "f1 if error" setting off fixed my issue. But what issue was there?
What if your PC keyboard freezed you can't press F1 , what should I do?
Even after changing battery - the bios wont save settings. Changing date etc doesnt work.
I have the same problem, however changing the battery did not help solve the problem
