Welcome back Virginia! Our family lives in New York but we visit Hong Kong every few years to visit relatives and eat their incredible food. We have tried some of the places mentioned in your video and will definitely try the rest on our next visit. I do want to mention that the second place in your video, Sung Hang Yuen, is also very well known for their fried egg and ground beef sandwich which we have tried, and it was delicious. I have missed your videos, please keep them coming!

caught your colab with Trevor, don't miss having to wash dishes in tea before you eat. Beef Brisket egg noodles was my go to dish for comfort. Claypot rice we use to get a pot of boiling water to add to the pot at the end finish off the dish. Back in the 70s and 80s, I remember when we had many HK cafes open up back home Ice Coffee with red beans. We had the clams back home too.
I miss Hong Kong food so much and the ambiance. 2008 was the last time I was in HK. Can't wait to eat all those delicious food again.
You're really back, Virginia!

Thank You For Visit To Hong 🇭🇰 Kong. Making Me Hungry.😂😊❤🎉
Absolutely love beef brisket (( absolutely must be tender )) Delicious French Toast with coconut jam / peanut butter. Wonder if I hunted for it enough. I could find it for breakfast, even lunch. WOW they have sprite, never new that until know. 2 cans please? Satay looked mighty yummy and delicious. Choose your own adventure noodles bowl, mine absolutely would be beef brisket, pork and crab (( if available )) looks yummy and delicious the 1 you had. Despite I would feast on 1 of my favorites egg tarts. Tasty clams.Such a yummy and delicious Video and Outstanding Job.
Yes - everything you mentioned sounds so delicious! Thank you for sharing your thoughts =)
Whats the name of the Satay Beef Noodle Spot? I am going to HK in about a week, would love to try that dish you had.

Can you make a Hong Kong coconut tart video sometime in the future? OMG I miss these simple but unforgettable taste experience treats that are second to none. This is why I miss you and Hong Kong so much :o)
Sorry - I've been busy trying to make rent and make money after the pandemic killed tourism.
Yes, let's do something about HK Bakeries =)
Love Your Hair

Hello Virginia. I'm so happy to see your beautiful face back on RUclips. It's been over a year and some months since you last uploaded a new video. I saw the new video you and Best Ever Food Review put out.
Yes, I know! 2023 was about making money as the borders opened up & I had some very cool opportunities but I finally realised RUclips is honestly the best platform!
@@hongkongfoodtours Glad you are back Virginia sweetheart
Never knew about not eating the closed clams. I’ve always eaten them. 😂
Are you still doing HK food tours? Going soon for the first time..
Yes we are =) Info in the description box!
Returned to germany yesterday and already craving HKs local food:(
I’ve missed you. 😉
Me too!! Thanks for coming back!!
Mark Weins brought me here to appreciate Hong Kong good food
Miss my childhood in HK
1st place is my fav spot in hk
Thunk u sonny
hahah yes, thank you Sonny! & thanks for dropping by!
Some suggestions:
-Egg waffles: gai-dan jai and gak-jai beng ($12-$25)
-Dragon Centre food court: 4 scoops of ice cream for $12
-Cheap eats: 2 dishes with rice platters (~$30-$38) - takeaway mostly
-Personal favorite for beef brisket noodles: the Hong Kong Jai chains, best meat to noodle ration $35-$40
-Hainan Chicken with oil rice: many places to choose from
-KFC for the portuguese egg tarts
-Nam Kee chain - good value. I think the 'kitchen sink' is under $60 (a smorgasbord of ingredients)
Amazing! Thanks for sharing =)
@@hongkongfoodtours Update, been watching some of your older videos and saw that you have egg waffles. Time to binge watch some more...
💙
wait Im so confused. why were you washing the dishes? and why is the water so brown?
Can someone please explain the washing your own dishes rule at some places?
Long time no see.
Long time no see!
@@hongkongfoodtours was really missing your videos. Came here from Sonny's video, that you're up again.
I'm here because of Mark Wiens :)
Mark brought me here i think
Request. Can tailor videos to vegetarians, and, only chicken eaters for example? :)
Great suggestion! Let me put that into my notes. We do have one about halal dimsum on our IG: instagram.com/reel/CyfurIDPN-y/
We need to find a way to get government to turn these restaurants into Hong Kong heritage spots. They're always looking to attract tourists. This won't hurt.
It has been so long since you posted a video on RUclips.
Yes - so sorry! Glad to see you again =)
Thanks!!
Virginia!!!!!💋💋💋💋
I just found your channel from Sonny’s RUclips 👍👍👍
Frech toast serves with condensed milk not syrup
ohhhh... that's definitely delish as well!
I thought you had gone 😢❤🎉🎉🎉
I'm sorry for keeping you waiting - but I'm back =)

;)
You are absolutely adorable. 🥰 So funny and refreshing to watch.
Thanks so much!!!
Oi man shan is expensive! More of a rip off for me. Not old school Dai pai dong prices. But I am hear to watch Virgina; been in love ever since I noticed her channel❤❤❤!
my stupidness have to go to SZ for food becuase dont know were to eat in HK
....beautiful women and food....yup....this is the channel
Yummy foods. Next time, try to shorten your channel name for your benefit.
We love going around Hong Kong. Particularly food and shopping. However, one thing that really really turns down tourists are HK oldies managing serving family owned restaurants. Theyre so particularly without proper customer ethics. No manners at all. They even raise their voice towards a customer who wants to have additional order for take out. The mother came and raise the plate shouting at the customer saying you cant take what you havent finished on your plate. The idiot mother shouldnt be serving customers at all if they dont understand english or put a sign SERVING LOCAL HONGKONGERS ONLY outside. I mean, the customer kept explaining she wants to get additional order for take out. Young HONGKONGERS are different. Theyre very jolly, super great salestalk. More on customer service rather than shouting at customers.
What's the story to your channel name? It's so odd.
