    This is the video that made me say "yea, let's do this." I'm not very strong in math. But I know I can do it if I apply myself. Whenever I do apply rather than procrastinate or fail to study/homework, I understand it.

    Do you need to have a strong grasp of coding/tech to be prosperous in MIS? Im intrigued with this major because I am relatively good at math and have a strong knack for business, management, problem solving, etc. But, I am definitely NOT adept at tech and coding.

    • @ElevateToTheUnknown
      @ElevateToTheUnknown  3 года назад +12

      Tech skills are great hard skills to have and can be very prosperous but they aren't as critical as having great soft skills. If you are good at math and have a strong Knack for business you can learn tech skills easily. MIS will give you many career options from software engineering, business analyst, IT management, cybersecurity, etc... some require more tech skills than others.

    Once again, amazing video man!
    I love how you made the distinction between a BSBA or MS and a BBA
    My recommendation for anybody reading this comment:
    If you enjoy math and want a more math and technical heavy MIS degree then go for the BSBA in MIS or Master of Science in MIS.
    However, if you hate math and want to keep it at a minimum, then get the BBA in MIS.
    Both options are excellent and you will have an incredible career either way!
    PS: for international students, pick the BSBA or MS in MIS since those are STEM certified and you can work in the USA with those.
    Good luck everybody!
