My best take down was with Knowles braids. I also almost never use box braids anymore. The take down for my knotless I felt was faster and little to no tangles so long as your patient with a comb and take down every part of a braid
Such A Calming Voice. Normally Id just toss out hair cause its the cheap kind but Im planning to buy some really nice colored braiding hair that I plan to use for awhile. So this video was very nice to watch. It was informative, calming and this method is much more ecofriendly than just tossing out the synthetic hair. Im definitely gonna use this technique on my colored hair so I can keep it for as long as possible.

Thank you so much! I’m so glad it could help you. The apple cider vinegar step is optional just to be sure that it’s properly disinfected before washing. You could just wash it with the shampoo right away but I had this hair in a bag in my ottoman for 2 years so I wanted to make sure it was really clean before using it again. And yes i have another video coming soon of myself using this hair for another style. I’m just in the process of editing 😊
You could do an ACV wash with your hair still in and warm water to get a deep clean. I would recommend taking them out in case you have a lot of build up at the base of your braids but keeping your braids in is still do-able.

That just means that I took my braids out and kept a the hair in storage for about 2 years without washing them. This video was my thorough way of disinfecting them before reusing them. I hope that clears that up for you 😊

I attempted to save this hair, but this is too much untangling for $6. Runs to the hair store.
