- Phase 5 releases some of the longest quest chains in World of Warcraft history, and today I'll walk you through exactly how to get the tier 0.5 Sets (Darkmantle included!). Some of these sets will be new BiS so make sure to prepare for getting them right at Phase launch!

I got my 8/8 set last week and I got ALL of the items as they were listed on wowhead. In total it was about 600g on Mankrik, THANK YOU for the easy to follow quest guide. I was dreading having to read through wowhead and following the steps!
this signet of beckoning fire is something i can't seem to get, there is also none on AH
so youre the reason i couldnt find signet/crest of beckoning fire on mankrik AH :P
i recommend getting full world buffs for the stratholme part to save Ysida, also run with people you trust to get the job done.(world buffs will save you alot of time and its more fun to blast through strath with full world buffs anyways).
This will give me a nice goal in som now :)

Is the proc rate even known at this point? If it's not, isn't it a little early to claim BIS when the proc rate is still unknown?
I have the 5pc shadowcraft set bonus on my rogue and it's very RNG but it can proc VERY often. For example, in a 60 sec MC boss fight i've had it proc multiple times so i don't think there's a PPM cap, just pure RNG. I imagine the proc rate is the same as shadowcraft since it's just shadowcraft 2.0
Did I miss the point in the video where you talk about the 4 pieces we want to equip the most ? I mean we want this for the 4p right ?
I can't wait for this set, I am hoping the final binding drops before AQ so I can be done with Rogue!

Tanks! Its important to note that ecto-plasmic distiller might generate threat, you may not want to ever complete this questline.
The signet of beckoning pricing is a bit off because it requires the signet itself which I last saw at 150g on my server, or you can RNG it by turning in twilight text which will cost about the same with even distribution from rng.. It's not really a requirement though because you could just summon a few dukes until you get the fire boy

Great questions Eduardo! It's about 12-14 dps increase from full BiS dagger settup in p4, and almost double that for Sword BiS
Well, full t2 is not bis for dagger anyway, t0.5 will be an upgrade for sure !
@@Sarthetv Wait, are you telling me that having a full darkmantle set is better than running AGLC's, Shadow Flame boots, BF hat and legs, etc? I'm so confused!
@@ryanurik Get your 4pc in slots where your items aren't as good. You will still have to wear ACLG as dagger, shadow flame boots are better than any other slot, etc. Depending on your available gear, you'll just use the best 4 Darkmantle pieces for you.
not worth for dagger spec.... btw is it good to use renataki charm for dagggers on bosses ? 1 extra backstab or we shall keep the hoj instead >?

Is anyone 8/8 BF gonna go for this? Seems like the gold/time invested is not worth it, especially if you are about to replace the gear soon anyways.
@Dhars Agreed, Darkmantle is not worth replacing until you have full AQ BiS which will be 4-6 months into AQ. Also if you don't need to roll on as many armor slots as your fellow raiders, you should get better prio on rarer more valuable items like weapons, rings, and trinkets.

I'm pretty much bis phase 4, full bf, dft. Missing cts and accuria. How much of a dps increase am I looking at?
also wondering that before pumping so much time and money into it..
Roughly 25 dps swords or 15 dps daggers- classicroguecraft broke it down on their website. The individual pieces are downgrades but the 4 piece bonus procs so much you end up doing more damage. You need boots of the shadow flame, renetakis charm of trickery, and zg shoulders to fill out your p5 prebis as well.

Hugo Mkn no. The whole point of set is for the 35 energy proc.

I dont get this mindset. I'm looking forward to the epic quest chain. Havent quested in quite awhile so it'll be nice. Plus gold is easy to farm as a rogue. God forbid you log in for something other than a raid.
@@mikeekim007007 it is very simple. Some ppl have x amount of time, some y.
I do not have the time to collect the gear pieces and it is quite simple why:
Drop chances are low.
Getting grps for strat ud and ubrs is difficult.( i ran ubrs full 20 or so times and got to see 1 tunic)
There is a lot of time investment into it all which is sadly something i dont have hence why i am ok with being benched
I am positive that with wb and consumes Bloodfang should be enough before switching to deathdealer

The quest chain is way too long and unnecessarily too spread out. If this was a task you had to do in real world, it would be like starting in London and speaking with a shopkeeper that sends you to Argentina to gather 5 crates of oranges; return to London; go to Japan and buy 10 carpets; take the carpets to Spain; go back to London; bring 4 packs of dogfood to someone in Germany; return to Argentina; persuade 4 local people to travel with you to Japan (you pay the travel expenses); run 5 miles in under an hour (if anyone is too slow, go back to Argentina, speak with someone and fly back to Japan, try to run a mile in under an hour again); return to London; pay someone 1000€; now fly to Sudan and fetch a book; return to London. That's the sort of logic behind this stupid quest line. "Let's make an absurdly long quest chain and justify the difficulty, expenses and time involvement by simply making it absurdly long".

Yeah! It's about a 12-14 dps increase from current phase 4 BiS for dagger rogues, although you do have to worry about capping energy which is my only fear with it.
Man you go from DM being trash to BiS pretty fast, hasnt changed since vanilla, what changed??
Darkmantle set stats are extremely poor, but wearing the 4 best pieces of it for the best stats and gaining the 4pc is worth the stat loss from better pieces such as Nightslayer or Bloodfang. The set is not available yet in Classic so we've not had the ability to have it yet, or everyone would already be wearing it. The Energy proc from the 4 piece is just so strong you'll get a dps increase on your character just from using more Sinister Strikes or Backstabs per minute.
