like the union guys that got "engineered stone" banned, yet insist on firing up the concrete saw with no ear muffs or plugs, no glasses, no water, no vacuum, no dust masks?
see it at every job site, twenty guys standing around as one runs the saw, one sort of squirts water randomly from a gatorade bottle... surrounded in a cloud of dust, but its cool, its cool...
me old mate, half his old colleagues are dead or dying from asbestosis... he got the bad back instead... mechanic. its either those two or the dermatitis and skin cancer that gets you...
imagine the hoo ha if amber or "sydney tile warehouse" had to sell their products at the cost of the lives taken to extract it... good bye renovations! to think the $50k of travertine a friend just had laid, would be closer to a million...
lol, i would watch "the block" if they had to go and get the stone themselves... mill the timber themselves... dig the holes themselves... as it is, its a bunch of yuppies dancing around in front of a camera, oblivious to reality as the tradies slap every thing together as quickly and badly as possible. would watch "MKR" if they had to go out on the fishing trawler, had to spend a few hours at the abattoir, had to spend their time on the farm, harvesting or planting... instead its just more yuppies dancing around in front of a camera, oblivious to reality... and then they wonder why they have "falling viewer participation"...

@@KwK-c7t thank you, I found out last week he has to have an urgent heart lung transplant as he is down to 25% lung capacity and is now on oxygen, the professor in charge of the team told him they probably only have 3-4 months left to do it.
He’s 65 sorry, and they also have him at around 48% asbestosis plus MDF dust etc. this is so the medication only costs him less than $40 AUD a month if he was judged to be 50% it is then $3000+ a month and legal companies have to go to court but if he gets 51% then its pretty quick and no need for court costs and they can apply for compensation from the James Hardie compensation pool.

Young limestone, you can tell by the color, geographic location and the blade isn’t a diamond blade that you’d need on an older denser limestone. Makes great building blocks for homes.

This is such a dumb comment, but let me explain. Women are on average, physically less able to do this heavy lifting, while they can do desk jobs like management or research just as well as men. Because most jobs used to be physical, there was a big bias towards males also in desk jobs. This has improved now, and our economy has grown a lot because of it.
