@@KwK-c7t thank you, I found out last week he has to have an urgent heart lung transplant as he is down to 25% lung capacity and is now on oxygen, the professor in charge of the team told him they probably only have 3-4 months left to do it. He’s 65 sorry, and they also have him at around 48% asbestosis plus MDF dust etc. this is so the medication only costs him less than $40 AUD a month if he was judged to be 50% it is then $3000+ a month and legal companies have to go to court but if he gets 51% then its pretty quick and no need for court costs and they can apply for compensation from the James Hardie compensation pool.

And the white colour is a good contrast to the workers' blood, which makes accidents more dramatic. And the deeper they cut the more marbleish it becomes.
They need to pour water on the saws when cutting to stop the dust and to lubricate. That would be healthier for the workers and the saws would last longer.
There might be a reason why they dont. Either they dont have access to water or to enough water. Or maybe the technologie they use would suffer more for the resulting "mud" more than from the dust..
