This had is called CELTIC WINTERS SLOUCHY HAT ON PINTREST!! Hope this helps everyone!! Pattern for all sizes! U did a great video thank u for sharing ur work!
Hi. I'm not sure it's the same pattern but it's true that, this stitch is called "celtic stitch". I didn't make it with following any written directions. I hope that could help. Have a nice day.
I just checked it out.. and in that picture/pattern, it has only 2 crossing over each other. Not like the 3 crossing over each other here in the video.
Love this tutorial. I started and frogged an infinity scarf using this same pattern I saw in a crochet magazine YEARS ago. I’m going to make a neck warmer to go along with my hat. Very good pattern and great teaching video. Thanks. When I’m done I’ll be sure to post a photo and tag your Instagram page.
I love your cats too they are so cute I am currently working on this beanie it is a little complicated I made more than 44 rows around 48. Now I will slowly construct and show you the finished picture
Another beautiful hat for my kids charity project. Will be doing many of these as well. And...it was very kind you you to respond to my last comment.💞💞💞
I have a question these are all front post triple crochets. Her in the first row? I am learning as a beginner and wanted to be sure these were not back post. I so enjoy your tutorials this is my second one and you are so wonderful to follow and I am catching on
Thank you for this video! I’ve made a really nice beanie following this. But your crochet speed is a bit too fast because I haven’t done these stickers before (I’m a total beginner) so it’d be nice if you would show how to do the stitches slowly. Thanks!
More instruction on sizing please. How many rows equal (how many inches) circumference of head? You have beautiful designs! I want to make 21” Circumference for small girl hat.
Fantastic video. I would love to make this for my grandma. Could you please tell me the how many i need to start with. 🤗 You put down that this one was for a child and it was 44.
Cynthia Flores hi. In the beginning she states multiples of x stitches. Most female heads are 21” and adult males are 23”. Or measure the head to know how long your chain should be, based on the multiple of x. There’s a chart of head sizes on lots of website. I hope this helps.
Yes it's multiples of 6 but for the brim it's multiple of 4 rows. When i complete the brim and join it, I made 3 dc for 2 rows of brim. I thought i told this at the video but didn't I?
@@SirinsCrochet i was confused on that part. i watched the video several times, but didn't catch those instructions. thank you for clearing it up in the comments, i am working on this hat now!
Hi Sirin, making this for my mum who's head size is 55cm. How many rows would you suggest for the brim? I made a brim of 44 rows because it fit around her head but once i started the pattern, it's now tight. You did 44 rows for child so I'm about confused. Please respond. Xx
Just add more double crochet stitches around the first row of the body of the hat. Even if you add more double crochet stitches to your starting row you will do the same thing she does to the hat. Just make sure your stitches are a multiple of 6, meaning that however many double crochet stitches you do must be able to be equally divided by 6. For example: when she finished the first row for the body of the hat she said she did 66 double crochet so if you divide 66 by 6 it will give you a whole number. You can try doing 78 double crochet stitches and see if that will fit better. Hope this helps.
I was trying to make the pattern but I was left with 3 post untouched each time I would finish the 2 Nd row after the brim, when you create the beginning of the pattern, can anyone help, thank you
Love your video's but wish you would put a link to the pattern or tell in the beginning of your video the yarn type you are using and the hook size. I have watch several of your video and I am always lost about these things. I'm sure I would have each one of your hats made if these things were included. Thanks for your time
Hi Linda. Sorry but I don't have any written pattern, only videos. That's one of my first videos so I made some mistakes. But I told the c. Hooks sizes at the begining. In Turkey there is no yarn size at the yarn labels. But I try to learn the yarn size and tell my other videos. Actually I show the yarn most of my videos and tell the crochet hook size. Thanks for feedback. Have a lovely day.
@@SirinsCrochet I was going to mention that you did tell us about the different hooks size to use. Beginning w size 5 then you used a size 6 for the main pattern.
Beautiful hat but I cannot follow your instructions. When you end the round, it's very confusing and I cannot see or understand what stitches I should be grabbing and inserting.
@@SirinsCrochet I've already done a few rows and every row looks messy and always get extra stitches and twisted stitches every row. Now I am stuck in the same row on time stamp 11:43. I watched and rewind like 200 times already and still cannot figure it out to close rows.

Can I ask you a question how can I make this for a adult size
You can add 4 or 8 more rows. This way when you finish the brim and start to cable work, you will have multiples of 6 stitches.
Ok thank you this hat is pretty
How many inches you made for the brim?

How many for Adult size?
How many rows for adult and I to count the row
Help? I'm not understanding how we start with 11 chains, but then you say 9 stitches per row, after we only skipped one stitch, the first stitch.
become tight, restarted work and still tight, I wish you had put the number of stitches
