YES!!!! I am so tired of tricking/ free running being mistaken as parkour. This is it, pure and true, you create your own flow and just go with it. Nothing is stopping you, this man flows like water. lol I love it.
It is possible ? A parkour video without shitflip every 5 sec ? I find freerunning stylish when it's used right on time, when it don't need to stop to prepare the flip.
Even though I know there's a difference between parkour and freerunning, I've almost never seen a purely parkour video. I've been trying to decide whether to get involved in parkour, muay thai or bjj. I am not an acrobat however, and thus I've been turned off by all the acrobatics I see in 'parkour/free run' videos. I'm actually a strongly built i.e. not build like a typical distance runner, but rather like a middle distance runner/sprinter with endurance and speed. And I really enjoy moving between natural obstacles, jumping, leaping, buildering/climbing. I have finally found a video that might tip me back into a consideration of doing parkour vs muay thai or bjj. Thanks for posting this.
I would actually rather recommend the first 3 parts of Parkour Literally, the ones that have Le Vietnamien. He's probably the best I've seen, very inspirational

great run, I am still overcoming the turn vault over the balcony rail there's a place a block from where I live that has a bunch of them. also the kong vault and lazy vault are on my agenda, since a standard two hand vault was my choice while I was working on power. now that I've been recently getting huge pops off the ground and over tall rails, I'm going to master the kong and then work up to turn vault. thank you for this video it is awesome, I added Dreamscape to my parkour music

@mastercheifbuster u have a pretty good start i always learned my flips in to a pool first, but after that ur gonna have to take it to the ground, practice on grass and do practice the steps of the frontflip, run, hop, punch, then jump, swing foward, tuck, then land. i recommed having gym mats so it u mess up it wont hurt as bad. but u also need alot of confidence u can do it bcuz without that ur going to bail and get rlly hurt. n the flip off tables is an okay if ur daring.
I want to do parkour so I showed my parents this video (I'm 14 but they're really protective), they said that it's too dangerous. *Why!?* Apparently I'll trip/fall. But they said that even rugby was *SAFER*, and that parkour was *STUPID*. *WHY!?* I've told them about progressions and all, and that other sports are more dangerous (my sister even broke her leg playing netball), but they just won't listen and are trying to get me to do netball (as well). Well, I am growing up in a stuck-up family so that really doesn't help...

but most importantly is having confindence like my first time doing a front flip i accually did it by accicent being bored one day decided to try it and i got it right. i was just goofing around running then i jumped n tucked over and did it i was like woah thats cool lol.
Awsome this makes me love Parkour even more, but darn it's hella lot uh runnin' and lets just say I can run for as long as I can hold my breath....just so u know I'm not the breath holding world champion or anything. XP

Stay away from the Free Runners. They operate on a different mentality. Parkour is a martial art and Free Running is a sport. Remember that.
