So I have the brushed and brush-less versions. Between them, I think the brush-less version was better suited to slow crawls and brushed was more for speed. This was the first crawler I preferred in brushed for two reasons. The better sustainability in water/watery mud - and the ESC. The ESC that comes with the brushed version has a very nice lighting system for those that want to body-swap or just add lights for realism. Both version were very nice with some front brass and smaller tires if you wanted more stability.
It looks like it would be a lot of fun out on the rocks! I am sure you had a bunch of fun with it off camera as well. It looks pretty cool and it is a low slung but has lots of clearance with those portal axels! Have fun with it Andy and have a great week my friend!
It’s definitely a back pack crawler and it’s good fun but the drive shafts are a little weak if you get hung up on hard objects , besides that it’s ace
Andy, this is so cool. I prefer the mini crawlers to 1/10 scale. Put in a back back and take them.anywhere. of course, always good at home to and with the amount of rain we get in the UK that is always a good option. Great video 👍🏻

i went for the FTX Mauler , and widened it a bit , and some more tweaks , but this looks cute .
Cheers the mauler was great for the money and plenty of scope to upgrade it , it always needed a servo upgrade though
Going to pull the trigger on this one cheers andy
Hi Alex if you get one replace the centre drive shafts for alloy or heavy duty ones, they are a little weak
Staveley is local to me 🙌hi from Worksop 🤟
Is that not a cr18 evo pro?
I think it is under the ftx badge in the UK
@@andyrobinsonrc2480 Oh yeah. That would make sense because there are the same models in UK and NA but different brands selling them.
