One of these but for the desert is what I would make for a character. A warrior whom the sandstorm and the destructive force follows. It’s almost poetic
It is kinda meant for that kinda feel. Like sands swirling around the character as the rage causes licks of flame to emerge. Its feels cool
We had a half orc storm herald barbarian in the Princes of the Apocalypse campaign a couple years ago. She picked the sea aura for the lightning.
How did she enjoy it? I think it just makes a lot of sense, and personally my favorite.
@@TheSinisterheroes She loved it. It was the first time I’ve seen a player play a barbarian that didn’t pick great weapon master. She did pick up sentinel to keep cultists from leaving her storm aura.
Oh that’s really smart actually!!! Also I love it when people don’t take great weapon master. It is one of those things where if you need it for the class to be good then I hate it.
I can’t think of another subclass better for my Theros Champions! Imagine a Leonin Storm Herald with the Athlete Background!
I happen to like the Leonin they have a strong base for a heroic character. Add in some serious violent hunts and you got me hooked
For today I have a chaotic evil Air genasi storm herald barbarian named Benjamin Stormbringer who worships the God Talos the god of Destruction Benjamin is a firm believer of his gods montra "might is right" and in his mind it's only yours if you have the might to take and keep it and he revels in the destruction he brings with little regards to the safety of others kinda like the storms themselves a very simplistic character but it's a barbarian so it isn't out of the ordinary and for those unfamiliar with Talos, Talos is kinda like an evil version of Thor I guess and he does share a similar nickname to a certain deity from critical role "the storm lord" but I have the feeling their two separate deities from different settings so that could explain the fact they share a nickname but I guess I'm getting a head of myself I personally really like the concept of this subclass and while watching this i thought "today's forecast is Stormy with a chance of fuck around and find out" which made me laugh
