When it comes to the popular brands I find the most interesting scents in Guerlain. I am unlucky that many of my favourite perfumes have been discontinued... 😭

This may be politically incorrect, but sometimes you can luck-out and find a good dupe of a discontinued scent. It may not be exact, but close enough to soothe your longing. ETA Love Guerlain!

@@MinhSen11 my most memorable perfumes were discontinued almost 20 years ago and I'm afraid the dupes could spoil my memory 😀. When I was a student I was wearing Donna Karan Black Cashmere for winter and the very first Armani Mania (launched in 1999) for the warmer months. They were niche quality (especially Black Cashmere) and I could afford them from my small income. It is unbelievable today when almost all good perfumes are very pricy. If I were a student today I would definitely wear dupes 😀.

Best designer brands for me are Guerlain, Hermes, Chanel, Armani, YSL, Dolce and Gabbana ( I mean Light Bule is a forever favorite of mine) and surprisingly enough Cartier 🤭

I am mostly unlucky in things more important, but as far as perfumes go, I am lucky in that I still have a fairly large collection even though now I cannot buy anything new. You look gorgeous, but then what else is new.

Loewe is one of my favorite designer fragrances brand. Love White Magnolia, Aire Sutileza & Woman 001 edt.

Unlucky 😊 I haven’t tried Loewe or Louis Vuitton, but agreed on the other fronts. I was going to comment on Facebook post of yours that if I had to choose one house for the rest of my life, it would be Chanel. I love them all and they have something for every mood: No. 22, Sycomore (which I learnt of both here), Coromandel, Le Lion, all of the Les Eaux, CM L’Eau Privée, BdC, AHSEE, Platinum Égoïste, Coco Noir, those are all my favs. One reason I loved your channel early on!

Thank you for the video ♥ Please please review Serge Lutens perfumes! I didn't like his fragrances before (long ago) but then I came across Daim Blond and fell in love 😍 now I want to try more from thet house but don't know where to begin.
Great review. But No le labo for you? I l personally love them, so original, funky and very natural, earthy, vegetative smells.

I do agree with your take on Loewe, but I had suprisingly great experience with them. Loewe Pour Homme and Esencia EdT are well executed classical men's masculine fragrances. Esencia EdP is greener take on Aventus. Solo Atlas is amazing neroli woody clean scent. 7 Cobalt is in my opinion great herbal take on blue genre. 001 series for men plays with woods and iris. Original Solo is nice fruity-aquatic-woody signature (not mindblowing, but still quite unique). As you said, If you are looking for long lasting good signature scent... You might look at the Loewe offerings. Great video Clemence.
It so happens that most of my favourite brands are French, namely Guerlain, Hermes, Dior and Chanel. I also love Kajal, Sora Dora and Parfums de Marly.
Love your favourite, iconic brands ! Oh and Kajal is great, I tried them a few month ago and great surprise !

I was on the le labo hate train but then I started sampling and now I have 4 bottles. I think they have a kind of New York hipster aesthetic that I can not escape, even though I haven’t lived there for 15 years. Overpriced? Of course, but Another 13 is the most elegant use of ambroxan I have encountered, for example. Now to sample the City exclusives next month. Say bye bye money.

I just had the opportunity to smell Musc Ravageur and my mind was blown! Not sure if I want to buy it as it is so pricey and I don’t think I will have an opportunity to wear it a lot. I would love to hear what fragrances you would recommend for those of us who love this kind of scent/ scent profile. I am not sure myself how to classify this fragrance, but would love your expert advice/ opinion.

interesting my favourites are Jean Paul Gautlier
Loewe perfumes are much more affordable than Louis Vuitton. Nothing super original, but they have some very nice frags for summer! I also like their 001 line a lot. I think they're worth checking out when you look for something easy to wear.
in fact Loewe is a part of LVMH, the same as many other famous brands (Dior, Guerlain, Givenchy, Kenzo etc.). It's quite sad as LVMH is really a corporation with no ethics.
Unlucky... just as you were with some of your spins 😅. I do like these videos though as it puts you on the spot a bit and could get your gut reaction to a brand. That new fig fragrance from Atelier Materi is on my wishlist.
