- Lure the boss as shown in the video and throw the kukri. When he turns around do two charged R2s and unsheathe R1 and an R1 to throw him off the cliff.

Finally got this to work! Ive been doing it the way I see other people do it, by baiting him to the left in the more open area and every time, he doesn't get far enough to the cliff and then I just ended up fighting him normally and getting killed; this method worked on the 3rd try. Appreciate it!
@JJJoeJoe like he jumps forward? He did that to me too and I had to quickly pull an unsheathe aow with the katana to stun him, did another while he was stunned and it worked. Try not to get too flustered, it's all about practice. Make sure you use the bow for precision when tossing the kukri at the rock and hide all the way behind that ledge too

Amazing cheese! It still works at 5/25/24. It took me about 5 tries and I was about ready to just fight him. But my problem was being to close to him when he was about to turn around, get some distance so he turns around slowly like he did in thee video.

In case you wonder: 3.15.24 - yes, it still works. It took me some 5-6 times to get him to break, but managed to throw him down. Maybe because of Keyboard and Mouse...no idea, but I kept insisting and it worked. Good luck, and thank you Blackbird!

hey it works ill give some advice, it took me a while. so basically when hes at the edge wait for him to turn around and then use ur attacks. Make sure u two hand your weapon and both attacks are fully charged then it would do the trick. If u guys are really confused ill make a tutourial or something explaining it

but I usually "cheese" him by simply using the erdtree greatshield and baiting his horse fireballs to reflect them back. you only have to dodge one or two slow melee attacks every few fireballs and then get far again to keep baiting them.
if one can't even dodge these melee attacks (and survive to heal)... they're doing something very wrong somewhere (fat-rolling? no vigor? I dunno)
P.S. I forgot about the red lightning strikes from above. you have to roll as soon as his shield moves downwards after he charges the move.

He doesn't get near the edge, he walks all the way to where I"m hiding in the alcove
for me he notices when I try to drag him towards the cliff. Either this is very difficult, or it's outdated

@@moonlitfoxling8448 There's an NPC summon near that one respawn point that isn't a site of grace (forget what it's called). If you summon him he does a good job at pulling aggro away from you. After a couple tries I just beat him that way.
You may need to take one of those things to get the gold markings to appear on the ground.

I snuck up behind it, & used the poison incantation. Took about 3 minutes, but got the desired effect! (I was too squishy at the time)

Hold down r2 twice for full charge,do an unsheathed r1 attack, normal r1 attack and he should fall off, I’m doing it right now it hasn’t worked for me yet but that’s the steps.

I don't really know what I did wrong on one of my first several tries, but I assume if you stand too close to him when he turns around, he jumps behind you, ruining the setup. In short, keep some distance but be close enough to hit him with your charged R2s. Otherwise this cheese is very easy to pull off and pretty consistent

Make sure you are doing 2 fully charged heavy attacks one none charged heavy and one light attack that should knock him off and you need this weapon the katana thing is think
