That's funny we say the same thing in Spain (in Spanish obvs haha) but then we also say "I've got ants in my arm/leg" cause it feels kind of like you've got little ants walking on whatever part of your body it is
This is great! love how you just improvise meals and dont put too much pressure on yourself! Please make more of this content as I'm quite new to all this healthy eating and find you so inspiring :-) also you mentioned about making a video with your PT, I can't wait to see that! X
I'm from the Uk and never buy my fruit and veg in plastic. It is possible and not that hard, unfortunately most people just seem to go for the easier and slightly cheaper option or just aren't aware.
Penguin Adventures sadly it’s not strictly true that it’s “not that hard” to avoid plastic wrapped fruit and veg. I have mobility issues and have no choice but to buy groceries on delivery. Even though I always opt for loose options the majority of big supermarkets still put those in plastic bags for home delivery. It drives me up the wall
@@mariannetuite7411 I do agree that there isn't the option with home delivery and that's why we stopped getting it unfortunately (although it would be incredibly useful as we have long commutes). For those who have the choice to go to the shops, the option is there and not difficult. Hopefully they'll also make it possible for those who need home delivery in future.
couldn’t agree more! austrian supermarkets are the best of the best though. v little plastic and every random supermarket has tons of organic produce. i have lived all over europe and honestly i miss the Ja! Natürlich brand everyday
it's really nice to see a 'what i eat in a day' where you're mindful of what you're eating but you're not starving yourself or limiting yourself! please do more of these!💙
I’ve just stumbled across your channel and you are inspiring me so so much! I’ve been in a really low place and today is the day where I’ve been trying to be positive influences to help transform my life and I’m really excited to watch more of your videos to help along my journey. Thank you so much 🙏🏻🧡
Looooove this! Just a tip from a coeliac - most plain rice cakes are gluten free anyway, the Tesco free from ones are a rip off! The kallo brand are nicer and usually cheaper esp on offer but Tesco own ones are too. Xx
SO so refreshing to watch one of theses that isn’t about you can’t/shouldn’t eat instead all the things you can eat. Definitely showing a positive lifestyle rather than a fad diet. Thank you ❤️
Lovely eyelashes you have, do you use a growth serum on them ans what mascara do you use please. Also from a lady with girls your age, please be careful sitting on your knees for long periods lovely, I used to sit for hours at your age doing my hair and makeup and could hardly walk after. years on and I have issues with circulation and getting calf cramps due to my sitting habits when I was younger. x
The editing is upping by the video you know. I don't know how because you videos have always flowed amazingly but things are up a notch and I'm here for it. Adore this video. I find them so motivating 🌼
I live in the US and I know a lot of people that say pins and needles. But I always say my leg or foot or whatever body part “fell asleep” lol I love you and your videos!! You’re amazing 💕😊
I just found your channel and I’m so obsessed 💖 I can relate to you so much!!! I am just beginning my fitness/health journey and you’ve really inspired me, thank you!!
Loved that you actually showed that you ate different the day before because you know, you were living your life (as you should!). It was very refreshing! It was also so nice to see that you had some gummies or had a piece of chocolate. Very balanced and you addressed any issues people might have with seeing food related things in such a caring and honest way. Love seeing you and your content grow
I am from the US and call it pins and needles too, didnt realize people call it anything else! Also absolutely love your videos and proud of how happy you seem regarding the changes you've made on your health journey. I think it is interesting to see somebody else's shop since food is so personal, and I appreciate a lot of our produce is covered in plastic in the U.K., but would love to see you consider not using plastic bags on bulk items and talk more about your decision to eat less meat / drink cows milk (if for environmental reasons or health)! 💕 Also highly recommend oatly barista for tea!
Quick tip, if you ever wish you had another tin of tomatoes or more passata or anything like that you can mix tomato puree with vegetable stock or just hot water and it's great for sauces
I'm doing Slimming World, and my breakfast staple is overnight oats, which is 40g rolled oats, about 150g protein yoghurt, and frozen fruit. Layer it all up and put it in the fridge for the morning! So filling. Also on SW egg is considered a protein, and avocado is considered a fat! I literally live on eggs for lunch - usually a chicken, cheese and chilli omelette lol. I also live off Nescafe gold blend, and green tea with peppermint as it's supposed to help with metabolism and bloating. We call certain fruits and vegetables 'speed' foods as they're really filling. Ten pounds down so far!...
I see a lot of comments about 'pins & needles' being the same as 'leg is asleep'. For me (I'm in Canada, not sure if it's a Canadian thing), they are two different sensations. When my leg is asleep (or any other body part) I can't move it and it feels dead or void of feeling, and when the feeling starts to come back is when I feel 'pins & needles' which is incredibly uncomfortable.
i have bad thyroid and pcos ...i have to starve which is no good ..you eat great .and i like how you said don't eat what i eat very rare actually usually people trying to push there diets on to you ...tasty n healthy ...great video ...and you certainly can cook alllll looked yum ...i wish i could eat ...i only eat a small tea ...im so used to being hungry that its just second nature ..love these videos ... keep em up ...🧡
Yesss! Emma thanks you so much, been trying to eat healthily but Idk really know what to cook and I get bored easily, I'd love more videos like this! Just to get some food inspiration ❤️
I enjoyed your 'standard way of eating' in a day! I'm going to try these meals tomorrow and start my exercise journey because I've been wanting to start but never really knew what I should be eating but now I do lol
suuuuuuuuch a good video😍i find them so INTERESTING!! do you think you will attempt to cut out plastic packaging as in buying loose veg instead of packed stuff that gets thrown straight away? just a thought xx
Virginia born and raised in USA, mom from New York USA - have always said "pins and needles". Your foot falling asleep is when the limb goes numb, but when you start to get feeling back and it literally feels like pins and needles stabbing you.
Have you tried mixing a options white hot chocolate sachet with the 0% yoghurt and using it as a dip for fruit, great alternative to chocolate when you are craving it.
I'm from Virginia, now residing in California, and this is what I've always heard about "pins and needles" (I'm not a doctor or scientist so I'm definitely not an expert, and I don't know the proper terms lol but it's what I've read about this topic from multiple sources): when part of your body falls asleep, it's because blood flow to that area has been restricted - like if you're sitting cross-legged and the weight of one leg is on the opposite foot. Then, when you move and your blood can flow normally, the "pins and needles" sensation comes from the new blood flowing into that area. I have a bad habit of putting a hand under my head while I'm asleep, so I often wake up in the morning with a completely dead hand! So unfortunately, I'm well-versed in the "pins and needles" sensation.
Love this, some great tips! 💪🏻 the stress of watching you prepare all your food on your hob though,.. I would absolutely accidentally turn the hob on and cause mayhem 😅
Loved it this, thanks for sharing :) I was wondering though you stopped having dairy milk, was that due to its effects on your digestion/ stomach problems? If so you might still experience them slightly since you still have yogurt- Greek yogurt is still from cows milk (some companies substitute it with goats milk). Just thought I’d share since I went dairy free and still was having Greek yogurt only and then I stopped yogurt all together and it helped tremendously with digestion and stomach issues. I’m on a journey right now to find the best tasting diary free yogurt- almond yogurt I’m finding taste better than coconut. Anyways if that wasn’t the reason all good I just thought I’d share if that was the case
We call it falling asleep or at least I do I like pins and needles better might steal that! I’m a newbe here your so fun and interesting to watch! Thank you for the information and videos!
I call it pins and needles or my legs gone dead. Love how you're confident enough to take us to the gym with you now, you're very balanced and realistic about everything. I appreciate that you mentioned the jelly isn't healthy coz sweeteners etc people never acknowledge that.
Tannins in tea can inhibit iron absorption (especially if you're avoiding meat) so might be best to wait a bit to have your brew instead of eating it alongside your meal ! 😊
Im from USA- Minnesota- and we say my leg "fell asleep" 😂😂 sometimes if your leg falls alseep you'll get either a numb leg or "pins and needles" so we use that to describe the feeling of an asleep limb LOL

If someone said pins and needles my mind would initially think the person is anxious (that's what I thought when you said it as well).
I'm from the UK, I think its because her shopping was delivered. Fruit and veg usually comes in a plastic box or cellophane wrapping but you can buy them loose too like the onions, bananas etc.
Dooooood.....can you PLEASE make a Spotify playlist? I love the music you incorporate into your videos. I'm sitting here breaking out Shazam every few min. lol
Growing up I often heard my mum say her foot is asleep but I'd never copy I'd say I've got pins and needles. Don't ask me where I got that term from but I've always said it and will continue to do so lol. I'm in London but born and bred in Manchester, UK!! Saying UK because I THINK Manchester is in the USA too!!
In Alabama when your leg is tingling like that we say my arm or leg is asleep. Here pins and needles means we are on pins and needles waiting to hear good news or on pins and needles with anxiety 😂
Same here 😂 so much of my cooking is just chucking random things together as I go along and hoping for the best... even if I want to try a recipe, most of the time I’ll swap out half the ingredients for other things or add extra things 😅
I make my pasta sauce with grated carrot and zucchini, chopped celery and when I remember to buy it, spinach. If I can avoid having pasta I will and adding so much veg really helps. I used to be a carb fanatic and I found reducing my carb intake I feel less bloated and I’ve lost weight which has made me more confident and now I feel like I can wear anything 😂🥰
I'm from Louisiana in the states and we call the pins and needles. Like your foots asleep lol. I also really enjoyed this video would love to see more!
Pins and needles! There’s literally no other way to describe it so accurately😂 I remember in primary school I got pins and needles in both my legs from being sat on the floor in assembly and I was supposed to get up at the end to collect an award and LITERALLY couldn’t get up and the whole assembly were like uhmmmm is she ok. Traumatised by that experience and whenever I get it now I think back to that moment 😂
i’m from Boston in the US and i’ve also always known it as pins and needles haha also loved the video i immediately searched a way to order those 10 calorie jelly pots to america cuz i too have a huge sweet tooth but try to have more portion control these days
crying at how much plastic all the fruit and veg is in :'( I know you did an online shop so it's not like you get to pick (I don't think) just wish supermarkets would be more conscious, like bananas...they have a natural wrapper, why put them in a plastic bag ahhhh!
I'm from Oklahoma in the US and we describe what you call "pins and needles" as "my foot (arm or whatever) is asleep" lol
I was gonna say in the US we don't actually have a name for it lol we literally just say my blank fell asleep.
That's funny we say the same thing in Spain (in Spanish obvs haha) but then we also say "I've got ants in my arm/leg" cause it feels kind of like you've got little ants walking on whatever part of your body it is
We also say my foot is dead in the uk too.. just pins and needles too 😝
Vera ZN we use the same expression in Portugal!
In the netherlands we also say my legs asleep.
This is how my daughter cooks... she just throws things together and wings it and tbh, it tastes way better than anything I do!

I don't even have a gluten intolerance, I just like them haha xxx
This might be my new fav account! I think I’ll spend the next 3 hours bingeing ☺️
One recommendation for getting rid of chocolate craving is one or two squares of dark chocolate xx
Your work ethic is so motivating, thank you for sharing this journey, it really does make a difference for others
I live in the US and we switch between “pins and needles” or more often, “my leg is asleep”
I live in Canada and we switch between them too.
YES!!!
SO so refreshing to watch one of theses that isn’t about you can’t/shouldn’t eat instead all the things you can eat. Definitely showing a positive lifestyle rather than a fad diet. Thank you ❤️
Loved this! Love how you whip new things up without any fear and using fresh ingredients! More of this please.
Lol, Re: Pins & Needles... In Trinidad we call it "cramps"... and we say you've "caught" it 😊 So in my dialect, I'd say "My foot catch a cramp" 😅

Makes up for the horrendous amount of plastic 😒 (which is largely Tesco's fault tbh)

I really enjoyed watching this

In France we say "I've got ants in my leg" :)
In Turkey it's the same😅
Italy as well
Same in Poland!
We say something similar in Morocco too!

I’ve always called “pins and needles” my *blank* falling asleep so like if it’s my leg I’ll say my leg is asleep. Thanks for an awesome video!
Yeahhh!! I have been waiting for this video forever! ❤️❤️❤️
Tannins in tea can inhibit iron absorption (especially if you're avoiding meat) so might be best to wait a bit to have your brew instead of eating it alongside your meal ! 😊
Almond milk is my fav 😊 have you tried it? Way better then soy one ( in my opinion)
Im from USA- Minnesota- and we say my leg "fell asleep" 😂😂 sometimes if your leg falls alseep you'll get either a numb leg or "pins and needles" so we use that to describe the feeling of an asleep limb LOL
In Australia we call it pins and needles too!
I make normal bolognaise saus with courgetti instead of pasta or rice. And it's super tasty!
Where did you get your protein powder from? Also do you not eat any meat now?
Hi Emma! Where did you get those pink plates/bowls from?? they're sooo cute
Hey Emma, what are the benefits of the repetitive jumping/ squat exercise that you do in the gym. Are they glute activating ? x
I’m so excited to watch this! 💖
We do call it pins & needles in America too. We also would call it that body part falling asleep probably more commonly. Is that something people also say in the UK??? 🤔 ‘my foot’s falling asleep’

“Oh my gosh my leg is asleep” is what I call it 😂 I’m from Iowa (USA)
Is everything packaged like this in the UK? I've never had my fruits an veggies packaged with maybe a few exceptions to this.
I'm from the UK, I think its because her shopping was delivered. Fruit and veg usually comes in a plastic box or cellophane wrapping but you can buy them loose too like the onions, bananas etc.

Where are your pink plate/bowls from? 😍
I really loved your video, I love your personality, and I wish you the best of luck in your life.
P.S. You are beautiful inside and out. 🥰
Loved this Em!!!!!!
Loved this vid !! Plz do more xxx
It would be great to see you choosing more unpackaged fruit/veg and staying away from some unethical brands like nestle. But loved the vid as always 💜
I'm from Canada and we call it pins and needles as well!
To the pins-and-needles-thing: in German we mostly say that the limb or whatever has "fallen asleep" or "is falling asleep" :D
I would say pins and needles or my leg is asleep, my french boyfriend says “aaa ants in my leg!!” 😂😂😂
Yaaaaaas this is what I've been waiting for 😍😍
I just say my leg is asleep when it feels like that 🤣
In Alabama when your leg is tingling like that we say my arm or leg is asleep. Here pins and needles means we are on pins and needles waiting to hear good news or on pins and needles with anxiety 😂
Ugh I need to lose at least 4 stone. I need to follow these recipes & your tips. You’re looking amazing! Love you. X
Love your bowls! Where are they from??
I also don't/can't follow recipes! I try to and then halfway through I can't be arsed and just do my own thing 😂
Same here 😂 so much of my cooking is just chucking random things together as I go along and hoping for the best... even if I want to try a recipe, most of the time I’ll swap out half the ingredients for other things or add extra things 😅
Just watched this video and love your Adidas sweatshirt with the high neck, can't find it anywhere 😂😭x
Emma, can you try to link some of the songs you use in your vlogs? I love the one that’s playing while you were cooking up the “avocado pasta”.
Hey ... please can you say where your pink bowls are from I know you told us in a old vlog I just can’t find what one xxx
Rebekah Coles I know you can get a pink set from ikea, hope that helps x
I'm from Louisiana in the states and we call the pins and needles. Like your foots asleep lol. I also really enjoyed this video would love to see more!
Hey!! Where’s your bottle from?? Xx
Pins and needles in CANADA for sure! 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Just out of curiosity, how do you decide what to eat and whats bad/good ect...? P.s: love the what i eat in a day 💕
I wish I knew where she got her plates. They're so cute!
Pins and needles! If I get pins and needles I call it “fizzy” - like “I have a fizzy leg” 😂
Have you tried to freeze grapes? Fresh good snack😉
I always add grated carrot into spaghetti bolognese. Don't even know its there xx
