You are totally right about fitness being a journey. I used to run marathons, loved PE at school and continued fitness into adulthood. The last two years have been difficult. Pregnancy, kidney failure, nephrectomy followed by an AWFULLY strict diet and then transplant. My poor abdominal muscles! I literally started from scratch. My first goal was to walk from the bed to the bathroom. I had to sit having a shower on a special shower stool! Now I can very slowly walk 10 miles. Getting into nature again was amazing! My goal now is to build my abs again, just so I can pick my now toddler up without putting strain on my poor back. Once I get my fitness up I will maybe start looking at more aesthetic goals but I am not putting pressure on myself. I was always an aesthetic based fitness person, but the world had other ideas and now I am in physio mode. My body has changed and I may not look as good according to my thoughts prior to two years ago, but I am happy, getting healthier mentally and physically and now I have more confidence in myself including how I look, with my stretch marks, numerous scars and saggy bits thanks to my surgeries. I feel more amazing than I did before!

I’ve been seeing a PT whose a close friend of mine - and it’s just been like therapy for me and just been a pretty consistent thing, not pushing too much. I’ve just started with a coach (who is the most beautiful soul ever and has such a great approach) and today went to a gym by myself for the first time🙃 been LOVING your recent videos Emma, you are such a lovely presence here on RUclips. So humble and so refreshing. Lots of love💚💚💚

I've been eating this breakfast for the last 2 weeks ! Keeps me full all morning I've been adding a scoop of protein powder too and walking my dog for an hour then spending an hour in the gym. Works a dream !

If you want to lose weight but essentially be productive, less anxious, reduce inflammation in your body you should give a try for at least one year of ketogenic diet. It changed my life to be honest.
If you struggle with brain fog and ADHD it would help a lot.
