- We have a lot of miles to complete our RV Fleet Shuffle and not many days to do it since we want to get to the HDT National Rally in Hutchinson, KS to see everyone. We also have to transfer and move everything in our Class C into our Big Rig fifth wheel trailer. Let's get to it.
The weather is on our side but it's been a long road to travel from the Arctic. It will take us several days to get to Missouri where we will begin to make the switch.
We find a really nice campsite for $10 with 30 amp hook up which is pretty sweet.
Not quite as scenic as Alaska but the farmlands are really nice and open. Paved roads are very nice. We pass by Route 66 which we will return to in the future.
Our RV is a Thor Magnitude so we hope it survives but the views are magnificent, awesome and stunning so the trip is a once in a lifetime event.

RV Camping
We like to "Switch it Up" between resorts and campgrounds and boondocking is always an option.
We draw inspiration from Keep Your Daydream KYD, Less Junk More Journey, Finding Our Someday and Changing Lanes. We normally travel in an HDT similar to RUclips channels Suite Travels and Watts on Wheels. I also get some ideas from the editing style of Happily Ever Hanks (Happilyeverhanks) #thankshanks and believe it or not, I actually learned something from MRBeast Mr Beast video's as well.
Our journey is the destination. We want to share in our experiences in our discovery of What's Next.
I get my music from:

We use the TSD card for diesel fuel and save a bundle each time we fill up our Big Rig. We also use it to fill up our Onan generator.
The big blue boards (XL version) we use sometimes to get us "un-stuck" is from:

Our Class C is built by Thor Motorcoach on a Ford F550 chassis. It's a production build Magnitude model XG32. We tow our red Jeep Wrangler Sahara behind it. We've made some modifications to it so that we can boondock comfortably. Lithium batteries, Victron 3000w multi-plus inverter, dual alternators charge while traveling and mods to the water system greatly enhance it's boondocking capabilities.
Our extreme completely custom 5th wheel is built on a semi-trailer chassis with air suspension and air brakes. Completely loaded it weighs 42,000 lbs rolling down the highway. And we do roll down the highway nearly every week. You see, we believe that if your home has wheels they should be used.
Vehicles:
2016 Volvo VNL780 "Voyager"
2016 Smart fortwo "Pathfinder"
2019 SpaceCraft Custom built semi-trailer 5th wheel "Orion"
2023 Thor Magnitude XG32 Class C "Curiosity"
2017 Jeep Wrangler Sahara "Artemis"
Power system:
3250 watts of solar with Panasonic panels
30.1 KWH of Lithium batteries
2- 4K watt Magnum Inverters deliver power as if we are on shore power
2- 4K watt 240v Cotek Inverters deliver additional power for our LG Mini split HVAC and stove
Coachnet is our roadside assistance company we use but hopefully we don't use them too often. LOL
We are not sponsored by Whataburger but I do enjoy them anytime I can get my hands on one. They used to be just out of Texas but they have expanded.

My grandfather was a Kansas wheat farmer. He died 53 years ago. He would have loved watching this operation. Thanks for reminding us where our groceries really come from!😊
Thank you. We love the farming community out there and we were excited to have the opportunity to film this in such a unique fashion. Glad you enjoyed it.
You know, we all need to be so thankful to the farmers and ranchers that provide our food. It was cool watching the work being done. I loved seeing Orion again. Safe travels wherever you two go next.
Yes, always good to stay grounded and appreciate the people who provide for us. It's great being in Orion again! Thank you for watching.
You both are an inspiration, I'm a 44 year old Dad with 2 kids and 2 step kids all under 16 and already find myself looking forward to this sort of life and having grandkids. I'm glad to see you're back in voyager! Safe travels.
Thanks, Richard. It's a great lifestyle but did require the proper mindset. Wow! 4 children, hang in there! Enjoy this time!
Nothing better than the smell of loading silage in the winter. Thank you for reminding the folks the process of making beef.
Thanks, Dan. Love the smell of silage and the process is really cool.
Wow, no grass growing under your feet!!! Surprised you don’t want to rest a bit after the big Alaska trek. Love the cherry cabinets in Orion. And that farm is gorgeous, thanks for the wonderful harvest footage.
😆 and RV has wheels and we like to keep them rolling but we will have a little downtime...sort of...😅😆
You guys are so blessed to be living this beautiful lifestyle . I can only dream of being able to do this one day. ❤
We are incredibly fortunate to be able to live this lifestyle and to share it with everyone. It's memories for us and our family and a way for us to give back to the community. Excited to have you along on the journey. 😊
Orion is your “Home💕.
Home means the world to me 💕❤
Thanks, Susan. We love our home.
Loved the lake reflection @ 3:40 on your camper…that is calendar worthy! Stopped the video to take a long look. Our 3 daughters all married farmers and so the farming segment looks beautifully familiar to us here in mid Canada. PS our daughters all had a huge learning curve being farmers wives but they have adjusted so well. They had each to cry with when needed in the early stages 😅 a beautiful family you have! 🇨🇦 ❤
Thank you, Yvonne. I thought that reflection shot was just so peaceful and perfect. Glad you liked it. We've met so many farm families out there and they are all so passionate about their lifestyle/work culture. It's a neat area. Glad your daughters got over the curve together.
"PONY EXPRESS" We stayed here 2 years ago and plan on going back in June on my way out to the 2024 West Coast HDT Rally. Down the hill from your site were the big rig sites. The lady that runs the place had just had 4 spots leveled and paved with 50AMP. FYI the food here is great. FYI Hamilton Missouri is the capital of Quilting. Home of the Missouri Star Company.
Nice. Great area and super quiet. Love Hwy 60 across Missouri. ❤️
David, your thump thump, reminded me of my dad. He was always doing the same thing. Especially when my grandmother would be in the way of the car. It was always a joke with us kids, and never within earshot of my grandmother or my mom.
😆 smart man... I'm not quite as bright but it sounds like the same kind of sense of humor. Appreciate your sharing and your comments.
Our Friends Rick & Denise Parker (SOARING TOGETHER) RUclips channel were at the HDT rally. Hopefully we’ll be there next year. Another great video guys.
Thank you. We'll be there next year doing some presentations and then back to the farm. Hopefully you'll be able to make it. I know Denise & Ricky have made it several years now.
Beautiful life… Beautiful people ❤
Thanks, Louise. Glad you enjoyed it. Excited to have you along on the journey. 😊

It's good to see Spacecraft isn't different than any other RV dealer. Had the thing for 6 mos and it wasn't ready when you show up. Thanks for being truthful.
There is a difference but we were a little surprised too. We were hoping that it would have been done. But... we were prepared for that...experience. Thanks for watching.
Great video . Thank you 🙏😊
You’re welcome 😊 Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks

LOVED the editing and the music while corn was being taken off. I grew up in the thumb of MI and this isn’t new to me but what always impressed me was how the truck and combine worked together!!
Awesome! Thank you! That was amazing to us. It was choreography between the two. Lots of fun.
So great, glad you're trip went well and you're home safely. The family is beautiful, enjoy getting back into Orion's ginormous "space." 😊
Thank you. We're excited to be back in the cavernous confines of Orion!

Enjoy watching your adventures. I grew up near emporia, on a farm, just north of hutch. Was in the fields at 8 years old, running combines . Back all the time.
Thanks for sharing. Those combines are crazy big and now, they have all kinds of electronics. Amazing.
So happy you enjoyed your trips Glad you got to spend time with your grandkids and family members and friends Have a wonderful week
Thanks, Debra. Great to spend time with them. Always fun. Hope your week is going well.
The planning and coordination of all your stops is remarkable. Enjoy your videos so much! 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks, Scott. It was an evolving plan. We weren't sure of our travel days and road conditions and how long we'd want to drive. It worked out well.
I really enjoy watch your vlog every week. Thanks for sharing.
We really appreciate your time watching the channel and are excited to have you along on the journey. Thanks for being a part of the story.
Awesome video! We moved a combine for a farm in Minnesota last month during the harvest, so much fun!

Thanks so much!! We were excited to be back.
Great episode I am in awe of the vast size of that farm and the precision of the trucks and cropper in getting all done. Amazing. Safe travels and loving seeing Orion and voyager again. 💖💖
Glad you enjoyed it! We love being in it again too! The farm sequence was amazing for us.
I so love the way you set up your car on the bed of the truck ... that's awesome.
It's very convenient to have it up there. Thank you
Glad to see you back in the big guy!
Us too! We're really enjoying it.
Great scenery / Vlog!

The harvest is so impressive! Wow! Amazing to watch with all the new equipment!
It was shocking to us! We enjoyed just watching the process! Thanks

Good to see you two back in Orion. It’s always good to spend time with family and reunite with friends. There was a lot of adventure in this one video…one of your best!
Thanks, Keenan. We'll try to slow down a bit for the holidays but then we're off for the winter out west and more adventures...oh, we may have a few more this year! LOL
Loved the video! Three months full time for us….still learning, but enjoying every minute!
Thank you. You're just getting started! Glad to hear it's fun for you. This lifestyle is great but not for everyone. Safe travels
Wow the equipment they used to harvest is amazing. Thx for sharing.
It is so amazing and cool. We had a blast with it.
Glad you’re back in Orion ! I look forward to hearing more of your adventures ! !
Us too! We're excited to be back home and to see what's next. Thank you for watching the channel.
Thanks again! And very good for you to get superb family reunion time and also reunited with Orion and Voyager!! So nice to follow you and thanks again!!
You're welcome, Marco. It was great to be on the farm. Love it out there. Great to be in Voyager and Orion again too! Great talking with you too.
Born in Liberal, KS, grew up in Great Bend and Salina, KS. Now live in Southern Illinois. Love watching the combines cutting silage. ❤🌽🌻
Glad you enjoyed it. We think it's so cool.
This was a very satisfying episode, I think because I couldn't help but think of the explorers and pioneers that traveled and crossed the mighty Missouri and settled this huge country.
Thank you. It's a vast territory with so many unique areas.
That’s a wonderful life. God Bless
Thank you very much. We're very fortunate.
So you’re from KS. My family is from Concordia and Columbus KS. Funny. I will be starting my full time RV journey this spring in a much small rig. I’ve enjoyed watching your channel though. Hope you’ve had fun with your family.
Thank you, Katherine. Always fun to get out on the farm. That's exciting about your fulltime journey. Thanks for watching.
I miss the beautiful scenery.! But it is always great to be home!
Agreed. But we'll have more down here. 😊
Great drone footage of the harvesting. I knew about silage since there are so many dairy farms in central California, but I'd never watched them harvest it. Very interesting.
Ok, so you're very familiar with it but had never seen it from that view. I was amazed when I shot that with the choreography required to efficiently cut it and transport it. Thanks
Welcome “home”! Great stuff again. Onward & upward … here’s to your next grand adventure! Have fun 😊
Thanks, Don. We'll keep moving forward. We have more planned.
Welcome back! We have stayed at the Fairgrounds at Hutchinson. We enjoy your RUclips videos! We’re always excited when you stay or visit places we have been!
Thank you. That's cool, great minds think alike!
yeay....on the road again.....😀......
can't wait for your new adventure
We're excited too! Thank you!
I thought that you guys might park for awhile and rest but you both must be energy bunnies that just keep going and going. What an amazing trip and happy to see that you are off on more adventures. That harvesting process was great to watch. Those cows will love that!! Safe travels!!
😆 Bill, we have a few things to do before the holidays and the family reunion was one we wanted to participate if at all possible. Glad we did... and there's more on the horizon. Thank you for watching the channel as always.
That was a great video! You did so much in just 38 minutes! 😂. Y’all put in some serious mileage. So fun watching the farm process and I’m glad you explained it. And finally, love Huntsville, I spend a lot of time their for work. Continued safe travels.
Thanks so much!! Huntsville is a very cool area and really growing! We were definitely busy over 38 minutes!
Another very enjoyable video. I love your storytelling and that you both are always so calm and joyful. Glad you bring us along on your journey. Thank you both! By the way, I love Sondra’s logic… oh darn, I guess I’m just going to have to go back to the scrap book store! ❤
😆 and she would have in a heartbeat! Thank you for watching and appreciate your comments.
You guys do such wonderful job on your videos filming and taking photos and top notch editing. We love watching your adventures and your personalities and voices are very comforting. Thank you for all the hard work and sure long hours putting all these videos together, you’re sure getting a lot of views. In 2 days this video already has 33k plus views. Way to go and hope you’ll be making a few bucks to help with expenses.
Thank you so much. We never thought the channel would grow this fast and enjoy sharing our experiences. Plus it's memories for us on our travels.
Congratulations on reaching 30,000 subscribers! 🎉🎊🥂🍾
Thank you so much 😀, Louis. Wow! Very unexpected for the channel to be at 30K already. We never expected this but appreciate everyone who watches the channel and is part of the community.
This is such a great reminder of where our food comes from, and why US and Canada are know as “the attic” of the world…with other places of course! Great to see you safe and sound back from your adventures up there in Alaska! Have a great winter down there somewhere warm! Thank you for the great videos of Alaska and the North! Remi, Québec Canada.
Thanks, Remi! We loved it north of the border but winter was nipping at our heels so time to fly south. It is amazing how much food is produced in the heartland of North America on both sides of the border.
Great video guys, amazing seeing the scale of the farming operations. Safe travels
Thanks and G'day, Brendan. The scale is impressive and how they farm is incredible.
@@bigtruckbigtravels Look at you go legend, already practising the local lingo bahaaa
Welcome home!
Thank you, Steve. Good to be home.
You got some CUTE pix of your precious granddaughters👍😊❤️‼️
I think so too! Thank you.
You should add more to your videos, like dinner prep, watching what you cook is always very entertaining
Thank you. We may try that in the future.
I'm so glad you're both back. You had your Whataburger fix! We live in Middle Tennessee, and we have Whataburgers now. This Texan we know said they are better out there. Can't wait to see the upcoming videos.
Thanks for watching, Teresa. I think Texas Whataburgers are better but I'll take them wherever I can get them. 😆
Love all of this!!!
Thank you, Christina. It's a fun lifestyle.
We I've been trying for over a year now beginning in our r b but it's one of those lemmons. The work travels are on hold. Can't sell house till we get the 5th wheel fixed.
That is quite a rig I think you need cowboy boot and spurs to handle that rig . What a beast . Happy Trails .
Yeehaw! It's how we roll! Thank you
Hi guys... We ran that same road I 29 so many times... We could probably do it with our eyes closed... All those wind farms you saw.... we've been there.. Grandbabies... Oh my goodness they're so cute... Take tons of pictures because they grow up fast... Our grands are in their 20s and they were just 2 yesterday... What did you find out about your generator... I know you're glad to be back Rollin... It was really nice seeing you guys at the rally... Thanks for the video and stay safe...J&A
Thanks, J&A. Great to see you at the rally. Generator just needs batteries, it was a low amp situation. Good voltage but no amps. Pretty cool being in the wind farms. We toured the facility in Palm Springs which was really neat. Safe travels and see you on the road.
Glad to see you stopped to get that Whatabuger I was shocked to see your stop in Aberdeen you were right down the streat from my Mom and Brothers Place.
Wow! Such a small world. Neat area.
I was both locked in & out of my 4 day old truck camper, was given a tension wrench and rake by lock smith while awaiting new lock set. Took 2 days for new lockset to arrive, and now capable of opening locks in less than 3 minutes. Basically the spring loaded cover for keyway snapped into locked position, cover meant to keep weather out.
That's no fun... but you have a new skill set! 😆 I need to order a new lock set.
Your uncle has a beautiful farm. Great place to boondock.
Thank you. Beautiful boondocking spot and so quiet... except when the coyotes get noisy or the raccoons fight! 😆
Awesome video!
Thank you very much for your time watching the channel. 😃
Thanks for the silage explanation! I was fascinated by the harvest process - but was going to be embarrassed to have to ask WHAT they were harvesting. Welcome home - welcome back to Orion/Voyager!! Safe travels on the next piece of your journey!
Thanks, Mary. Great to be back home. The truck felt so good to be driving it again. Don't be embarrassed, I had zero idea of what silage was or how they made it! It was amazing to see, I had fun with the drone. Appreciate your time watching the channel as always.
Wow! Didn’t know you had family here! I’m in Derby (outside Wichita) loved seeing Kansas. Yay!!
So cool! Small world. We love being on the farm.
You are moving right along. The Sioux City park is fairly new. Old campground taken out by a flood just a few years ago. Nice place.
Thanks for the info! Ok that makes sense because it seemed in really good shape with large sites.
I didn't understand the corn thing at all! We eat that!😮 Good thing I stopped eating corn. Ha ha just kidding. The equip is very big & advanced from when I was a kid. Only seen lg combines in movies. It is amazing. I hate what elites are doing to farmers & we MUST stand behind farmers! Interesting vid, good luck on your travels.
Thank you. It was cool to see them harvest the corn. That cutter was about a million to buy! Wow! Very advanced and very pricey.
Hi, we live in Utah and noticed Sondra wearing a Great Basin shirt. We were over there last weekend. We've really been enjoying your adventures.
That is awesome! Thank you. We spent a week in Great Basin and I hiked to the summit of Wheeler Peak. Neat place, very unexpected diversity of the area.
Thump Thump, gotta love a sick sense of humor
Oh yeah! Lots of fun! Glad you appreciate that sense of humor... just part of our daily routine... driving and me making bad jokes! 😆
Enjoyed the travels through Kansas. We are Kansas City natives and recognized the highways signs. Went to Hutch and recommend Strataca the salt mine. While you were traveling to your family reunion Darlene commented excitedly I know that road! If you would have rolled a little further southwest you would have been in my family’s farm country, Pratt, Iuka and Byers. Enjoyed the farm sequences. The size of farm operations and equipment is just over the top. My family are corn farmers of about 2500 acres of irrigated corn.
Thanks, Ron. Many years ago, I lived in Kansas City too and always enjoy going back... especially now that they have some Whataburgers and Pizza Ranch! Hutch is nice and we've been to Strataca which is cool. We visited Linsborg too. Thank you
Safe travels.
Thank you. 😃
Great videos. My sister lives in Hutchinson, Ks. Glad you were able to spend time with your grandkids. Be safe and take care!❤
I have several family members in and around Hutchison, Amish and Mennonite.
Hutch is a nice town. We enjoy it plus they have a great farmers market in season and Strataca is very cool.
Hi you two, a tip for locks & hinges vegetable oil works faster & best. I have been doing this since a friend told me 20 yrs ago.
My family came home last week to no squeaky doors. Love watching you. Stay safe!
Great tip! Thank you. I'll have to try that next time.
WOW!
Thank you!
Welcome Home!
Thanks, Bill.
