Just found this channel, great content. Looking forward to trying some of these drills next stick and puck! Great breakdowns, thank you for taking the time for the in depth explanations
Thanks for the share, good exercises. Just one thought for feedback. Since these are just as hard/difficult as they are important, the questions is: how do I go from not being able to do these to being able - meaning, how do I get from A to B? Because even if I watch these a hundred times, I will most likely still have big problems with my progress. Due to the fact that these are super difficult. And we don´t wanna waste time practicing wrong technique. I guess there must be some good ways to break these down to smaller chunks that you can isolate and train on and from there then put the puzzle together. Or?
@@ks2884 I think the main point of the video is to satisfy needs of the hockey players wanting to get better at edge work. There's actually a skating style without the stick: Figure skating.

Wow. It looks like it's gonna take a moment or two to learn it.
Man, this dude is sick

Try zig zagging on one foot on a straight line maybe? That's one way on getting comfortable on your edges
Great balance and edge, good communication
Thank you!
incredulous
How did you get your feet and ankles strong enough to do the backwards outside edge drills ?
There’s lots of things you can do off ice but a simple thing that can help is to tie your skates looser than normal before doing edge work drills
Gut
Can you do the same without stick?
I don't understand any drill without a stick. You don't play hockey without a stick.
@@GET2222 But you can skate without a stick, not everybody here plays hockey, some people just learn to skate.
@@Vkat696 Ice skating without the stick is against the law?

If percentage of focus group is 97%, why waste time making videos for 3%?

Wow. I am not worthy. 😀
Oprah does this better, but this is still very good.
