Nice to see things developing, not everyone is older & lightweight. Badly needed are higher seats, strong build quality for people who carry extra weight due to medication & lightweight to fold & handle, carers can often manage the lift to boot.
Looks good. Can be further improved with stylish design, sporty looking wheels (bigger wheels), sporty, compact and comfortable seat, simple and easy to fold, light weight powerful lithium battery (airline friendly) and portability. Unique feature that it can double as a seat in crowded train or bus is a plus point. I will definitely buy one when it reaches Singapore. Congratulations to Sumi Wang and her father Jianmin Wang. Both of you have done a great job to break the mobility barrier for the disabled persons. Your new baby should not only look good but also make people feel good riding on it. Let's hope when I ride on it, it will not make me look as though I am a disabled person. Let us make eFOLDi turn more heads on or off road. Important thing about the whole design is the WOW! factor. You would have achieved greater success if even a normal person would also want to ride on it.
I bought a 500 watt 4 wheel electric scooter in China which folds into airplane luggage size with handle. It's powerful and climbs steep hills, does 20 kph and has a range of 20 km and fits straight into the boot of my car.
Me gusto lo practico y ligero que es para transportarlo, igualmente su tamaño creo que es practico para. Andar en casa o en algún centro comercial, donde puedo adquirir uno , yo vivo en México
Very uncomfortable after 5 mins the bar hurts middle of back. Also sometimes front catch slips off and when you apply the brake the front wheel folds underneath and you crash, very dangerous
Need a higher seat at least 50 ins and I find it difficult bending down wish it split into 2 parts to load into car by a woman but it's a great idea perhaps Dragon Den could help it's a great product and brilliant it's in UK wish it was lighter as problems lifting heavy objects
Hi good morning I like your folding SCOOTER you have do have this folding SCOOTER in Trinidad and Tobago if you do please tell me where I could go and buy one my lifestyle today thank you please send me your info thank you
Note that this is what is said about the battery. If you want to take it on a plane, you'll need a different battery and you'll only have a 4 mile distance on that battery. VERY IMPRACTICAL FOR PLANE TRAVEL. "The FarReach battery pack (supplied as standard) is designed for long range, weighs 1.8 kilograms (3.9 pounds), and can take you up to 22 kilometers (14 miles) on a full charge. The AirSafe* battery pack (bought as an alternative or as an additional battery) is allowed for air travel by everyone, weighs 1.1 kilograms (2.4 pounds) and will carry you up to 7 kilometers (4+ miles) on a full charge."

There are a lot of light lithium scooters on the market now. Most, heany or light, will range between $2000 and $3500 Cdn in cost. But you can also buy an in-car lifter for about the same price from places like Bruno or whatever. This scooter is nice but am not sure about storage for shopping. Some manufacturers put the pedals higher and closer to the wheels so quite a few groceries can be stored under the legs. Don't know if you can order an extra lithium battery but that's a good idea too. Most of these go fairly far before you need to recharge battery but it's always nice to have a spare. I like a scooter that will go a minimum of 7km as well. Most people don't need arm rests because their arms will be on the handles anyway and arm rests just add more weight to the chair. They also may limit the seat size, making the chair harder to sell to women with wide hips. You still have to do a fair bit of bending though which can be tough on an icy cold stormy day, especially for seniors with broken spines and ribs. Most can hardly bend at all. So I say good prototype but could be improved. Really nice when women versus men advertise these too because there are so many on the market that almost no woman could load or unload. The smaller the height and width, the more easy it is to fit into almost any car so you won't need to buy a mini van. If you do have one though, in some cases you can just leave the scooter standing up inside the car so it will require little or no assembly at all (eg like the Travel Scoot.) Love Travel Scoot but that has one problem after a couple of years as well, and that's that it can become so stiff, even with oiling, that after awhile it doesn't easily fold so compactly, so most will just travel with it already assembled straight up (if they have a mini van that will fit its size). It can also be a little tricky to fold up.
