I just don't agree with the Korea vs Others trope. I preferred it when it was Produce 101 and nationality didn't matter. Secondly: Can people please not vote for Daeul? He is NOT ready in any form and his personality isn't attractive either. I much rather not have him block a spot for someone who can actually sing/rap/dance. I know it's harsh, but do we want another disappointing group or not? We need to be smarter and harsher. You can still fall in love with the personalities/energy of actually talented people. Let's not waste votes on dozens who do not have enough time to improve themselves realistically. Please don't send me hate, it's just my pov. You are allowed to disagree.
Yea, I mean both Girls Planet and Produce 48 both had almost like K v Others concepts. PD48 didn't really go beyond the auditions to highlight the artistic difference of idols while Girls Planet only kinda tried to maintain a good split of diversity within each group for the first round before everyone was individual. Boys Planet has done nothing besides basically segregate them. As for Daeul, apparently Knetz aren't liking his appearance on this current episode so you should be fine. Plus we're all entitled to our opinions too so it's alg to discuss without being malicious. But yea, I think there might be a delay but his ranking might drop. But yea, he really just needs to actually go through the training system to see whether he's cracked out for it.
Koreans wants to guaranteed their faves survive by controlling K group & a higher percentage of Koreans trainees debut, most Koreans are very sinophobic & vote only Korean, so if your bias is in G group, you can’t vote any top ranking K trainees within your 9 votes, they already have default Korean votes, it will lower the ranking of your biases if international fans vote for both K trainees with their 9 votes
I agree. I don’t know why people are voting for daeul just because he’s cute. He’s obviously not ready and can barely do anything. I’d rather have a well composed group.

i got attacked by Daeul stan’s on twt for saying this.. he isn’t ready at all and him fr tryna be the “im bad but im cute so vote for me” is srsly irking me and annoying tf outta me that there are people falling for that 😐 want to support a “cute” trainee? Support Takuto, he deadass REDEEMED himself in the Here I Am evaluation,, the dance masters even praised him for using a move how the dance masters hoped others would catch onto. he WANTS to learn, he literally asked SO many questions to his teammates so he can fully understand the choreo.
I’m starting to see daeul’s falling arc. Knetz (who are his major fanbase) are really angry at him for the way he acted this episode and how he isn’t putting the work. I mean, in other seasons, people like Hyewon (who never trained and was trying to become an actress) tried to get better and worried for the team (as we saw in her boombayah performance when she became the main rapper because no one could), but daeul is not like that. He created a team just with people that were nice to him and when they said valid criticism toward him he acted selfish. Also, him being the only one shown in the sneak peak of the elimination has sparked more fire. The fact that he’s no longer on the top 9 is a pretty big sign that he will face a downfall in the next elimination. Mnet saw that he was funny for storytelling but that if they pushed him too far he had a chance at debuting, so the edits are starting to become evil. I’m pretty sure Winnie is going home this elimination which makes me sad since he was one of my picks but since he has a group to come back I will follow him on nine.i The vibe of the love me right g group was better overall, and I’m very sure the k group won because they had more popular Korean trainees, emphasis in Korean since a lot of the viewers were also knetz. What shocked me the most was the difference that jay and hui had, I’m sorry but Jay deserved more than 66 points, his voice was more suited for the song than hui. Still rooting for Jay (he’s my 1st pick). This mission as a whole was a setup for the g group to fail, I think only 15 of them may survive, 20 at most if we’re lucky. This is the first time mnet has not mixed the trainees for this round (since in pd48 and gp999 the did), so this whole thing was a set up to eliminate as much g group trainees as they can since Koreans will only vote for the k group and they have the benefit. It’s all a mess, I’m hoping that in the next round they finally mix them, they are making a group, stop pitting them against each other.
Ohh damm, are Knetz really feeling like that? But now that you explain it, yea Hyewon and like Sohye never gloated or was having "fun" all the time. It was a lot of lack of confidence and uneasiness whereas Daeul was having a little too much fun. Like once again, from the auditions, why have Mashiro and Yeseo come as your reps in Girls Planet only to send barely trained contestant for Boys Planet. But yea, that whole trying to swap out his part for others and then him saying that he picked the team and chose people that were nice to him, like that could easily be MNET evil edited so I'm trying so hard not to just criticise him unjustly. If Knetz are feeling like this, then for sure we'll see a drop in his ranking with each round. Yea, it's so sad that Love Me Right G team didn't win. The point difference kinda made sense but also not really. Not to BM Hellbayah but remember how they won over most of the team in the other Boombayah team, there is clearly other variables at hand including Hui having a good storyline plus there is that sense of they've heard Hui sing before so this live performance kinda validates everything that has happened previously and thats kinda how he got more points. But yea, if it was soleyl based on this performance alone, I'm pretty sure it would have been more neck and neck. I feel like a good chunk of them were banking on the victory to secure their spots into the next round. But yea, defs will keep my eye out on Nine.i too. Theres like a few more of the members of Nine.i competing too so hopefully they can garner attention too to bring up that whole group. Yea, it does feel strange that 6/7 teams won were K teams. Like there are clear differences between training systems and also just a language barrier that they have to get through too so they were pretty disadvantaged. There isn't gonna be two teams that debut so there literally is no need for this K v G rivalry. But yea, it's not looking good for G group. The kinda good thing is that if you're G group and make it pass this round, the odds were not in your favor and you still made it which means the next round of elimination should kinda be in their favor to eliminate more of the unknown K groups as long as the benefits are once again not crazy high like 100,000 points.
I agree with you so much. Jay deserved more points. This group deserved more points. The difference in points was so awful that I'm pretty sure that even if the K group just stood there not moving during the whole performance and just waving and smiling, they would still have won over G group. That's how knetz are biased towards their own country. They'd rather have someone way too young like Yunjin or not really good like Daeul in the top 20 rather than a G group who is over 18yo and talented. And that's revolting. But then again, I'm not surprised. More mad at Mnet for doing the G versus K with only Knetz voting and clearly getting rid of 80% of the G group trainees.
Yea, I was thinking of a way they could balance it out considering K and G viewers get to vote for their top 9 while only K audiences can vote during the actual competition. Street Woman Fighter had a system where they collect points based on likes so maybe instead of just solely using the audience in Boys Planet, a portion could also be split to be likes on the videos to give G viewers a slightly great power too??

Mnet is too scared to let the global fans have some kind of power (that’s why until gp999 we couldn’t vote), so the mere fact of us at least voting for them it’s enough. If a global fan is in the live audience maybe things could change but it’s complicated

Literally like C group in Girls Planet but yet each contestant was slowly getting that evil edit. But yea, the battle really could have gone to either and I would have been okay but just the overall results makes it feel a little icky.

@laurenchoo9795 Yea, I would have wanted Kill this Love G or Backdoor K. Either worked because both were amazing. But yea, those votes aren't usually about talent or the performance that was had. It's really a popularity competition because there are stans who will vote for their favs without considering what happened which kinda explains that despite Jay being a standout, same with Haruto, there were others like Hanbin and Hui who have stronger fanbases.

Lee Seunghwan (good stage presence, he can rap and sing, goshh he reminds me of Seungyoun X1!) 5. Kim Tae-rae (main vocal material, he’s so sweet and has the best smile! + amazing dancer) 6. Zhang Hao (visual, all rounder, funny asf, he cares alott for group members!) 7. Keita (a rapper that masters and trainees praised for good vocals, he is so talented!!!) 8. Seok Matthew (persevering attitude, good dance and vocal, he has the brightest smile!) 9. Kum Junhyeon (hes an amazing singer! + dancer, he’s so funny we need him esp in variety shows!)

I desperatley need an explenation as to why people like Yujin and Gyuvin so much. They both are pretty faces that provide decent dancing, nothing more. I'm genuinely confused.
Hahahaha, maybe visuals play a huge part with atleast good standard kpop idol skills. There audition was pre good too which might be getting slightly overshadowed by all the mistakes that they are making now. Really can’t tell if MNET is trying to break them down to build them back up or just breaking them down because they wanna now prioritise other people
it's crazy because Gyuvin really stood out to me during his auditions but now I don't really remember him as much in this first round. In saying that, its only been one round and so things might change.
This episode was just Mnet showing their "Look at us, Korea is better than other countries". The only reason that makes sense for this live audience voting for all the korean groups is to eliminate as many G group trainees as possible during the first elimination. Because there are too many popular G group contestants right now. Now, I am not mad at the K groups for winning, it's not the contestants fault anyway. But the differences between the votes from K group and G group is so HUGE it was just uncomfortable to watch. Love me right battle was the best for me, both deserved to win. But K group destroyed G group by a lot. And that was not ok. I really hope they stop this G vers K groups after the first eliminations because it's bullshit ... And the episode ending on Daeul being saved was just stupid. People around the world waited the whole night or even woke up earlier to see it live. Just to watch this shitty anouncement "Haha jokes on you, only one is saved, the others will be announced another time !". That was stupid ... Fortunately, I didn't wake up to watch that because I knew I would be disappointed and mad. And I was right. I hate Mnet's way of managing this show, again, nothing new. But I keep watching because there's one thing we cannont deny, all the groups from their survival shows were amazing and ended up being popular and groups that broke records. Like to this day Iz*One is still one of my favorite groups. And I also love Kep1er and I ended up liking Wanna One too. My current top 9 is : 1- Jay / 2- Zhang Hao / 3- Sung Hanbin / 4- Haruto / 5- Keita / 6- Kim Jiwoong / 7- Park Gunwook / 8- Seok Matthew / 9- Park Hanbin (Kim Gyuvin, Hui and Kim Taerae are very close too).

I'm gonna use the same example as some other comment I did before but Boombayah in PD48 when Chowon's team won. Like clearly the other team's performance was more skilled and legit but Chowon's team had more likability and that's how they were able to pull it off. That's kinda the same concept as basically as this round which is kinda sad. But yea, this elimination is not looking the best for G group but what I am hopeful for is that , the ones that make it have enough to not need benefits to continue hopefully. That means the second elimination we'll see more K groups leave as long as they may not get the benefit. But yea, the need to stop the whole G v K unless they doing some mixnine stuff. As for the special broadcast, yea that was not it. Plus to add to it, it was Lee Daeul too who wasn't most people's choice to want to know there safety. Like literally it was rank 13th too??? But at the same time, it's not completely catered to Korean if they incorporate G contestants, live stream on RUclips for international viewers, allow international viewers to vote too. Like with Produce 48, voting was still only done by Korean despite introducing the AKB concept. So surely that kinda should give the G contestant a bit of fairness if they did all of this for us too.

They added G trainees to give them a chance to win over the hearts of Koreans. Some did, like Matthew for example. If it was Japanese/Chinese survival, it'd be same 70% locals so no need to be overdramatic and victimize G trainees
Yea, the global markets need to increase their purchasing power to be more recognized. Like not streaming but physically buying. I wanna say that's where their money maker are. But I mean it aint that great of a feeling that you introduce another survival program with a global concept once again when they can easily do it with just Koreans because they're MNET. Consumers will eat it up regardless and so they could do that as oppose to milking the international validation and fans when they may think that the global market is smaller compared to the Korean market for Kpop

seems like mnet "learned" to not start hate trains with foreign idols vs k idols since it didnt really benefit their fave k picks in gp999 all that well so far for a lot of fame. so i guess they are just trying to stifle the g idol numbers and still uplift the k trainees like they intended due to the structure of the show lol
Yea, Idk what K-viewers see and what their reactions are to stuff like evil editing, but us international-viewers are becoming increasingly more aware of this stuff and so it's really been a split of some instantly believing the narrative while others are objectively understand what is happening.
GP999 was a HUGE FLOP and casting for the K trainee was not impressing (none of GP999 song chartin Melon 1000 song), audiance was the worstand the final lineup is the worst they ever did. No wonder wonder the previous seasons were fake but at least they selected the members that were likely to appeal to the general public hence the success of virtually ALL THE FRANCHISE GROUPS KEP1ER is clearly not what mnet wanted to create and they clearly don't want another group like that they want a powerhouse group this time. I mean popularity is an underlying attribute that is needed to maintain longevity while in their teporary contracts plus if they were audience picked then you would assume that they would get blasting support. But yea, as for Kep1er it really does feel like a mixture of they haven't really made the noise that IOI and Iz*one have made. In saying that, they was a massive wave of monster rookie debuts that defs didn't help too.

@@cloudchungxiao is a Vietnamese, so I always support Hai and Cong. In Vietnam, there are many people who support Hai and Cong on social networking sites. Although knowing in advance maybe both will not be able to debut because G group has too many famous trainees like Jay, Matthew. Perhaps Hai is better than Cong in terms of international fans. But I always look forward to seeing both Hai and Cong in the finale.
Ohhh right. Yea Cong has real potential but they have for sure focused way more on other G contestants. Plus considering the line up with skew potentially more in K's favour, its not looking the best for Cong. But yea, that's nice that they have a good support system in Vietnam though. It really shows the globalisation that is happening with Kpop. But yea, I feel like the next round might be a real hit or miss for Hai's opportunity because he's also slightly hiding under the radar.

Mnet pisses me off so much even since gp999, where none of my picks made it to the final lineup bcuz of stupid voting system where korean voters basically decide who's going to debut... And now this shit. Korean trainees are given screentime and moments to shine while g-group trainees are neglected and mnet snake want them to fail and doesn't even try to hide it... I was so excited before bp had begun but now I feel disappointed bcuz mnet snake hasn't changed its tactics at all :( Maybe after the 1st elimination I'll stop watching bp bcuz my top picks are g-group trainees who may leave the show. P.S. mnet had the audacity to start live broadcasting of the 1st elimination, show one survivor and then tell the viewers: "Okay, that's all, come back in one week"???? Ohh who were your picks for GP999? As for the Korean voter thing, these are like lowkey those discrete ways to "manipulate" the line up without actually manipulating in an illegal manner. But also, Kpop has just been a very Korea-oriented thing that we're starting to see the rise in global audiences. I think once our purchasing power increases by a whole lot more maybe that's when the distribution might start feeling slightly fair. But yea, screentime example is Min and Han Yujin. Both were helped with increasing their visibility on their performance but we only got to see actual screen time of Han Yujin and how they improved it whereas Min got like one shot of a judge saying Min had improved and thats it. But yea that live broadcast was a joke honestly, and luckily I was multi tasking or I would have defs felt my time was wasted because literally what was the point.

From my opinion Danger g group and burn it up G group should have won, they gave a presentation more attractive, and it really surprised when they lost, like it doesn’t make sense. Koreans are really nationals like they will always vote for the Korean members, and this rule of K vs G was so unfair. I am sad for the guys who really made their best. I hope Mnet mixes the members in the next mission, but it is so sad that many foreign members will be eliminated, because of the extra points. I am literally crying..
It makes sense because you can see by the numbers the vote wasn't choosing between two groups (or there wouldn't have been individual vote counts) nor was it choosing between people who performed the same position (because the numbers for each pair would have the same total). Judging from the vote counts, the audience mostly likely had one pick (or possibly two).

He stand in the CENTER back of jongwoo (killing part)? and the center spotlight goes to him after the killing part jump done? Did'nt they show krystian (who's also sub rap 1) in that exact same position on G-group practice but give a caption that it is krystian arrangement and the one they supposed to do is krystian quickly go to the side? So it means mnet manipulating those scenes with the wrong order of the clips and misleading caption?? I just don't agree with the Korea vs Others trope. I preferred it when it was Produce 101 and nationality didn't matter. Secondly: Can people please not vote for Daeul? Yea, I mean both Girls Planet and Produce 48 both had almost like K v Others concepts. PD48 didn't really go beyond the auditions to highlight the artistic difference of idols while Girls Planet only kinda tried to maintain a good split of diversity within each group for the first round before everyone was individual. Boys Planet has done nothing besides basically segregate them.
As for Daeul, apparently Knetz aren't liking his appearance on this current episode so you should be fine. Plus we're all entitled to our opinions too so it's alg to discuss without being malicious. But yea, I think there might be a delay but his ranking might drop. But yea, he really just needs to actually go through the training system to see whether he's cracked out for it.
Koreans wants to guaranteed their faves survive by controlling K group & a higher percentage of Koreans trainees debut, most Koreans are very sinophobic & vote only Korean, so if your bias is in G group, you can’t vote any top ranking K trainees within your 9 votes, they already have default Korean votes, it will lower the ranking of your biases if international fans vote for both K trainees with their 9 votes

i got attacked by Daeul stan’s on twt for saying this.. he isn’t ready at all and him fr tryna be the “im bad but im cute so vote for me” is srsly irking me and annoying tf outta me that there are people falling for that 😐 want to support a “cute” trainee? Support Takuto, he deadass REDEEMED himself in the Here I Am evaluation,, the dance masters even praised him for using a move how the dance masters hoped others would catch onto. he WANTS to learn, he literally asked SO many questions to his teammates so he can fully understand the choreo.
I’m starting to see daeul’s falling arc. Knetz (who are his major fanbase) are really angry at him for the way he acted this episode and how he isn’t putting the work. I mean, in other seasons, people like Hyewon (who never trained and was trying to become an actress) tried to get better and worried for the team (as we saw in her boombayah performance when she became the main rapper because no one could), but daeul is not like that. He created a team just with people that were nice to him and when they said valid criticism toward him he acted selfish. Also, him being the only one shown in the sneak peak of the elimination has sparked more fire. The fact that he’s no longer on the top 9 is a pretty big sign that he will face a downfall in the next elimination. Mnet saw that he was funny for storytelling but that if they pushed him too far he had a chance at debuting, so the edits are starting to become evil.

The vibe of the love me right g group was better overall, and I’m very sure the k group won because they had more popular Korean trainees, emphasis in Korean since a lot of the viewers were also knetz. What shocked me the most was the difference that jay and hui had, I’m sorry but Jay deserved more than 66 points, his voice was more suited for the song than hui. Still rooting for Jay (he’s my 1st pick).
This mission as a whole was a setup for the g group to fail, I think only 15 of them may survive, 20 at most if we’re lucky. This is the first time mnet has not mixed the trainees for this round (since in pd48 and gp999 the did), so this whole thing was a set up to eliminate as much g group trainees as they can since Koreans will only vote for the k group and they have the benefit. It’s all a mess, I’m hoping that in the next round they finally mix them, they are making a group, stop pitting them against each other.
Ohh damm, are Knetz really feeling like that? But now that you explain it, yea Hyewon and like Sohye never gloated or was having "fun" all the time. It was a lot of lack of confidence and uneasiness whereas Daeul was having a little too much fun. Like once again, from the auditions, why have Mashiro and Yeseo come as your reps in Girls Planet only to send barely trained contestant for Boys Planet. But yea, that whole trying to swap out his part for others and then him saying that he picked the team and chose people that were nice to him, like that could easily be MNET evil edited so I'm trying so hard not to just criticise him unjustly. If Knetz are feeling like this, then for sure we'll see a drop in his ranking with each round.
Yea, it's so sad that Love Me Right G team didn't win. The point difference kinda made sense but also not really. Not to BM Hellbayah but remember how they won over most of the team in the other Boombayah team, there is clearly other variables at hand including Hui having a good storyline plus there is that sense of they've heard Hui sing before so this live performance kinda validates everything that has happened previously and thats kinda how he got more points. But yea, if it was soleyl based on this performance alone, I'm pretty sure it would have been more neck and neck. I feel like a good chunk of them were banking on the victory to secure their spots into the next round. But yea, defs will keep my eye out on Nine.i too. Theres like a few more of the members of Nine.i competing too so hopefully they can garner attention too to bring up that whole group.
Yea, it does feel strange that 6/7 teams won were K teams. Like there are clear differences between training systems and also just a language barrier that they have to get through too so they were pretty disadvantaged. There isn't gonna be two teams that debut so there literally is no need for this K v G rivalry. But yea, it's not looking good for G group. The kinda good thing is that if you're G group and make it pass this round, the odds were not in your favor and you still made it which means the next round of elimination should kinda be in their favor to eliminate more of the unknown K groups as long as the benefits are once again not crazy high like 100,000 points.

The difference in points was so awful that I'm pretty sure that even if the K group just stood there not moving during the whole performance and just waving and smiling, they would still have won over G group. That's how knetz are biased towards their own country. They'd rather have someone way too young like Yunjin or not really good like Daeul in the top 20 rather than a G group who is over 18yo and talented. And that's revolting. But then again, I'm not surprised. More mad at Mnet for doing the G versus K with only Knetz voting and clearly getting rid of 80% of the G group trainees.
Yea, I was thinking of a way they could balance it out considering K and G viewers get to vote for their top 9 while only K audiences can vote during the actual competition. Street Woman Fighter had a system where they collect points based on likes so maybe instead of just solely using the audience in Boys Planet, a portion could also be split to be likes on the videos to give G viewers a slightly great power too??

Mnet is too scared to let the global fans have some kind of power (that’s why until gp999 we couldn’t vote), so the mere fact of us at least voting for them it’s enough. It's really a popularity competition because there are stans who will vote for their favs without considering what happened which kinda explains that despite Jay being a standout, same with Haruto, there were others like Hanbin and Hui who have stronger fanbases.

Hahahaha, maybe visuals play a huge part with atleast good standard kpop idol skills. There audition was pre good too which might be getting slightly overshadowed by all the mistakes that they are making now. Really can’t tell if MNET is trying to break them down to build them back up or just breaking them down because they wanna now prioritise other people

This episode was just Mnet showing their "Look at us, Korea is better than other countries". The only reason that makes sense for this live audience voting for all the korean groups is to eliminate as many G group trainees as possible during the first elimination. Because there are too many popular G group contestants right now.
Now, I am not mad at the K groups for winning, it's not the contestants fault anyway. But the differences between the votes from K group and G group is so HUGE it was just uncomfortable to watch. Love me right battle was the best for me, both deserved to win. But K group destroyed G group by a lot. And that was not ok. I really hope they stop this G vers K groups after the first eliminations because it's bullshit ...
And the episode ending on Daeul being saved was just stupid. People around the world waited the whole night or even woke up earlier to see it live. Just to watch this shitty anouncement "Haha jokes on you, only one is saved, the others will be announced another time !". That was stupid ... Fortunately, I didn't wake up to watch that because I knew I would be disappointed and mad. And I was right.
I hate Mnet's way of managing this show, again, nothing new. But I keep watching because there's one thing we cannont deny, all the groups from their survival shows were amazing and ended up being popular and groups that broke records. Like to this day Iz*One is still one of my favorite groups. And I also love Kep1er and I ended up liking Wanna One too.

I'm gonna use the same example as some other comment I did before but Boombayah in PD48 when Chowon's team won. Like clearly the other team's performance was more skilled and legit but Chowon's team had more likability and that's how they were able to pull it off. That's kinda the same concept as basically as this round which is kinda sad.
But yea, this elimination is not looking the best for G group but what I am hopeful for is that , the ones that make it have enough to not need benefits to continue hopefully. That means the second elimination we'll see more K groups leave as long as they may not get the benefit. But yea, the need to stop the whole G v K unless they doing some mixnine stuff.
As for the special broadcast, yea that was not it. Plus to add to it, it was Lee Daeul too who wasn't most people's choice to want to know there safety. Like literally it was rank 13th too??? But at the same time, it's not completely catered to Korean if they incorporate G contestants, live stream on RUclips for international viewers, allow international viewers to vote too. Like with Produce 48, voting was still only done by Korean despite introducing the AKB concept. So surely that kinda should give the G contestant a bit of fairness if they did all of this for us too.

They added G trainees to give them a chance to win over the hearts of Koreans. Some did, like Matthew for example. If it was Japanese/Chinese survival, it'd be same 70% locals so no need to be overdramatic and victimize G trainees
Yea, the global markets need to increase their purchasing power to be more recognized. Like not streaming but physically buying. I wanna say that's where their money maker are. But I mean it aint that great of a feeling that you introduce another survival program with a global concept once again when they can easily do it with just Koreans because they're MNET. Consumers will eat it up regardless and so they could do that as oppose to milking the international validation and fans when they may think that the global market is smaller compared to the Korean market for Kpop

Yea, Idk what K-viewers see and what their reactions are to stuff like evil editing, but us international-viewers are becoming increasingly more aware of this stuff and so it's really been a split of some instantly believing the narrative while others are objectively understand what is happening.
GP999 was a HUGE FLOP and casting for the K trainee was not impressing (none of GP999 song chartin Melon 1000 song), audiance was the worstand the final lineup is the worst they ever did.
No wonder wonder the previous seasons were fake but at least they selected the members that were likely to appeal to the general public hence the success of virtually ALL THE FRANCHISE GROUPS

In saying that, they was a massive wave of monster rookie debuts that defs didn't help too.

How you feeling about Cong and Dang Hong Hai? I mean Dang Hong Hai ranked 1st in views of fancam so he might have a bit of a fanbase but ngl, dont think it's looking too good for Cong.
@@cloudchungxiao is a Vietnamese, so I always support Hai and Cong. In Vietnam, there are many people who support Hai and Cong on social networking sites. Although knowing in advance maybe both will not be able to debut because G group has too many famous trainees like Jay, Matthew. Perhaps Hai is better than Cong in terms of international fans. But I always look forward to seeing both Hai and Cong in the finale.
Ohhh right. Yea Cong has real potential but they have for sure focused way more on other G contestants. Plus considering the line up with skew potentially more in K's favour, its not looking the best for Cong. But yea, that's nice that they have a good support system in Vietnam though. It really shows the globalisation that is happening with Kpop. But yea, I feel like the next round might be a real hit or miss for Hai's opportunity because he's also slightly hiding under the radar.

Hahaha, I wanna say everyone probably recognises him as one of the more memorable vocalist of Boys Planet which means he surely should go far.
Mnet pisses me off so much even since gp999, where none of my picks made it to the final lineup bcuz of stupid voting system where korean voters basically decide who's going to debut... And now this shit. Korean trainees are given screentime and moments to shine while g-group trainees are neglected and mnet snake want them to fail and doesn't even try to hide it... I was so excited before bp had begun but now I feel disappointed bcuz mnet snake hasn't changed its tactics at all :( Maybe after the 1st elimination I'll stop watching bp bcuz my top picks are g-group trainees who may leave the show.
P.S. mnet had the audacity to start live broadcasting of the 1st elimination, show one survivor and then tell the viewers: "Okay, that's all, come back in one week"???? I was like wtf I had been patiently waiting for half an hour to be fooled like this 🗿

As for the Korean voter thing, these are like lowkey those discrete ways to "manipulate" the line up without actually manipulating in an illegal manner. But also, Kpop has just been a very Korea-oriented thing that we're starting to see the rise in global audiences. I think once our purchasing power increases by a whole lot more maybe that's when the distribution might start feeling slightly fair. But yea, screentime example is Min and Han Yujin. Both were helped with increasing their visibility on their performance but we only got to see actual screen time of Han Yujin and how they improved it whereas Min got like one shot of a judge saying Min had improved and thats it.
But yea that live broadcast was a joke honestly, and luckily I was multi tasking or I would have defs felt my time was wasted because literally what was the point.

Koreans tend to vote for Korean trainees only, who's gonna save g-group boys who don't even get proper screentime? I won't be surprised if 70% of them don't make it to the next round. The 13th place dude though, he's apparently getting negative attention now. This latest episode was not good for him at all according to some commenter opinion but also from Knetz apparently. So we might be seeing him leave next round which is kinda good but also still doesnt negate the fact that this is kinda a missed opportunity for another contestant

From my opinion Danger g group and burn it up G group should have won, they gave a presentation more attractive, and it really surprised when they lost, like it doesn’t make sense. Koreans are really nationals like they will always vote for the Korean members, and this rule of K vs G was so unfair. I am sad for the guys who really made their best. I hope Mnet mixes the members in the next mission, but it is so sad that many foreign members will be eliminated, because of the extra points. I am literally crying..
It makes sense because you can see by the numbers the vote wasn't choosing between two groups (or there wouldn't have been individual vote counts) nor was it choosing between people who performed the same position (because the numbers for each pair would have the same total). Judging from the vote counts, the audience mostly likely had one pick (or possibly two).
@saramamani4751 Yea, I really liked Burn it up G too based on the presence of the team but on an objective like mistake looking way, K team technically didn't mess up. As for Danger teams, idk what was that because why? But yea, that nationalistic sentiment really be kinda strong. The only thing I can kinda think about is the fact that most of the contestant will have to be eliminated to form a debut line-up but in saying that, they still could have been given another chance to perform.

Did'nt they show krystian (who's also sub rap 1) in that exact same position on G-group practice but give a caption that it is krystian arrangement and the one they supposed to do is krystian quickly go to the side?
So it means mnet manipulating those scenes with the wrong order of the clips and misleading caption?? So Actually when krys stand in the center back of ricky like kum junhyeon in the center back of jongwoo was the way their formation supposed to be?? 😮, and the one where krys go to the side quickly is the one that's an arrangement and krys ofcourse don't want that bcs he already give up his killing part, why should he gave up more?

Also the way people thought krys was the one who ruin the formation on their practice that time, when the fact they even lost their killing part jump that they supposed to do like jongwoo in the start, was bcs they change the killing part to ricky who is the sub vocal 1, sub vocal 1 supposed to slide under the killing part like taerae slide under jongwoo here, but bcs ricky is both killing part and sub vocal 1, they finally remove the jump and only keep the slide
In the clip where they try their arrangement that krystian go quickly to the side you can see ricky still not do the jump either, so it means the killing part jump removing really because they choose the sub voc 1 slide than the kp jump for ricky who's both killing part and sub vocal 1, not bcs of krystian want to keep his SUB RAP 1 part
It's amazing how mnet show every non-korean roots on other teams when they want to negotiate to change their parts from the one they supposed to do according to the choreo by mnet, they're on the bad light and everyone laughing on them when they're got told that they can't do changes like that, but when kamden do that kind of arrangement that's actually not allowed like that, he's all saved by mnet and mnet Even turn around the situation like that by their edit 😮
