FRRR I WAS LIKE SHOCKED WHEN HARUTO LOST BECAUSE HE ATE AND LEFT NO CRUMBS IBRRRR
Fr
RIGHTTT
The face of utter shock and dissapointment was what killed me. He was way better and now he's gonna be questioning his own abilities. They should of had mentor input in the votes because I'm 100% sure they would of voted for him as the better rapper
Like I don't like his personality at all, but he delivered so much!
@@kpopfinale3363 how….
It made me really sad seeing the G group boys lose and think they lost because lack of talent or being “outclassed” by K group. In my opinion, im seeing so much favoritism, nationalism, or one popular member carrying a team. That what i think was maybe show up in votes because there were so many G groups that should have won.
yep...
What is worse is that Mnet itself favors K groups in terms of stage outfits and lights (except KTL G group because of their favorites in there and pushing Gunwook like Kim Dayeon in gp999). E.g. Outfits were better for Love Me Right K team and stage lights were better for Danger K team. They even air performances differently(2 Danger teams, more closeups and focuses on dance parts for K), why the fuck you invite G trainees if you don't want them in lineup? Just do regular Produce with 10 global trainees not giving false hopes to G guys, they are so evil.
Itd be really interesting if same kind of show took place in West - rivaling western and asian groups. Jury would be of course only Western, scolding foreigners for shtty accent and weird clothes..that wouldnt ever work here 😅😅
how many G groups, and i'm actually curious who are those many
Thank you! You literally spoke my mind. The xenophobia on this show is unreal. G group should’ve won by at least a bit more. There was a 1000+ gap between group G and Group K.
It's weird how the judges literally praising haruto rap more and yet he lose at the end
The judges had no say in the amount of votes they get. Are ppl really that stupid she reason why Haruto lost is because the person he was against is more popular than him. Also its k group so obviously Koreans will vote more for them.
This competition will never be talent/skill it's popularity. Also the reason why K Team won over G Team for Love me right. Both teams were on the same level and so it came down to popularity
@@nea6332 Agreed. I thought their performances were both so good and despite the in-house voting, everyone saw how exceptional those guys were, especially Jay and Haruto.
If it were up to the judges and not the live audience, his group would’ve won. I swear this show is so rigged :(
Its not crazy…. Why are you still surprised, korean audience values visuals over actual talent. The final line up will consist of the popular members, because koreans vote blindly
finally someone who preferred g group love me right! nothing against k group love me right because both performances were really good, but i enjoyed g group’s performance quite a lot more. skill wise, i feel like haruto did the rap way better, so the fact that he got that little votes is honestly unacceptable. for jay and hui, i’ve been seeing many people saying “hui is unbeatable” and all that stuff on youtube, but imo, jay suited love me right way better and pulled off those high more comfortably. jay got like 60 something votes only- yeahh he got robbed. hui is prob more skilled but jay did better imo. k group always wins so i find myself rooting for the g group boys more haha thanks mnet
g group danger should’ve won their energy was so entertaining
i honestly can’t believe mnet isn’t even letting g group kill this love perform on m countdown like that the least you could do for them-
Love me right belonged to G group...I respect Hui but Jay killed it and the overall vibe in G group plus vocals was wholesome
I also agree, for some reason even though hui belted his best high note, it just didn't vibe with the song. Individually this was great but, with the song it felt weird. And Jay's voice just blended right in.
Hui is kinda unbeatable thought. he just has the notes, that nobody in this competiotion has. which is not suprising, he is a 10 year old idol already. Jay did a good job thought. I prefered hui, but he was good. at the end its a taste thing
Lots of people preferred g group. But K group had more popular members so 💀💀💀 To be fair Hanbin did really well and he suited the center position 100%. But honestly, that song belonged to Jay all the way, he just ate it up.
Justice for my boy Jay 😥
You read my mind... this is exactly what I'm thinking😔
The fact I stayed up, waiting to see if my picks were eliminated just for them to announce ONE person??!. I feel like the biggest clown out there....
i am glad i was asleep when it happened...
and that one person happens to be Daeul on the 13th position😶🌫😭
@@tttfff8 wait what? What happened? Where can i see it?
Wait where can I watch? I can’t find it anywhere
@@XVlove Idk where you can watch it cause it was a live stream. But basically it was more than 30 mins long and the only survivor that got announced was Lee Daeul. He's on the 13th rank.
Haruto lost to jeonghyeon cuz he’s so popular among knetz.. they love his visuals. Haruto definitely deserved to win thooo, he was better, and seeing his disappointed face broke me
Yes he was 8 in the one pick survey among knetz I feel bad for haruto although I expected it, the whole k vs g group thing is just not it
BRO HE DID SO. MUCH BETTER THAN THE OTHER DUDE, haruto had that flavour to his rap ps it was overall good
Man I was super disappointed when he lost
I hate those girls they only care abt looks
What about Yedam losing to Anthonny?
yes harutos flow was much better
Love me right sections was overall depressing. I felt like both groups did really well so I was expecting it to be a close race. So when I saw such giant gaps between the votes it just made it clear how popularity will always beat talent. Also, it was just depressing seeing G group get loss after loss. We all know most of these boys are going home because of the lack of advantages and it's just upsetting.
Agree. Seeing G group crying and consoling each other at the end really broke my heart, a lot of them did amazing but winning against someone who is popular felt almost impossible.
Such an awful waste of skill. Because letting biased fans that know nothing be in charge of who stays and who goes
g group performance literally made me cry i mean i felt like i was alive !!aaaaaaaa
The gap was big because there was a gap in skill. Love me Right K group was much more skilled than G group. Jay was carrying the whole team while in K group, everybody had more talents and Hui lead them to look like a real group. It wasn’t biased at all. Also, all the G groups lost because the K groups were just better. K group has more experience in training to be idols so of course they’re going to do better. I was rooting for all the G groups except for two of them but when I saw K groups perform I knew G group would lose. The gap in skill and experience just couldn’t be made up in this assignment. It is what it is.
@@CrimsonDawn-ou4og K group did better.
people need to stop voting daeul. I get it that he's cute but it's clear that he doesn't have enough skill compared to the other famous trainees. He needs time to improve and I guess we can see him later in a group where he has skills and does stand out. Him taking the place of a more deserving trainee would be a shame tbh.
i mean he went down 5 places from 1st to second episode and now he went down another 4 places and is out of the top 9, i think people are finally waking up about the fact that he either wakes up and starts to improve, or they’ll stop voting him
after watching this ep all i could think was
1. there is clear favoritism towards k group (they did well, but some things are questionable)
2.i've had enough of mnet's dramatic ass, they don't even let you enjoy a performance in peace without giving you 3 flashbacks and zooming in on 8 different people
Yup, usually zooming in the same faces: mouth open HanBin, Hui, that sleezy BL actor guy (sry Im European and not good with asian names) etc
@@kanaaju2007 why sleezy tho? cause of his smile? lol his name is Park Jiwoong btw.
@@tangerinu_u I dunno, its his hair and hormonal glance I guess..gives me that sleezy guy vibe lmao
@@kanaaju2007 so you’re really just judging him because of how he looks and not his actual personality
@@alex_1484 its all about visuals and popularity, isnt it lol? And all those editing and scripting from the show..do you really know about anyones personality for real?
- tbh I felt so bad for Chen Ren you, I've done this thing so many times where I learn something wrong, and ppl try to correct me and the more attention I get I keep getting it wrong. But he also tried ig so kudos for that.
- honestly I loved the g team danger's storyline, the way they sit and just talk it all out fr and then get to their work without any bad feelings, to disturb them.
- I don't want to speak much on lee daeul, cause I don't really have much idea, but this performance really made lee seunghwan stand out to me. He adjusted and kept peace within the team, encouraged the ones that were criticized and also performed so well. I'm afraid he was true leader of the performance.
- Han yujin definitely has self esteem issues and these mentors are not helping it by berating this kid. Jongwoo was the best in the performance. Jiwoong's abs.
- rizzky slayed.
- omg I loved the g hot sauce group. They were so wholesome. Osuke and Orlie did so well. And, lipj I love you♡
- abs IS the way to the voters hearts.
- hanbin is literally so perfect, his personality, skills, past stories, everything is just top tier.
- haruto losing made me cry fr. He did so well. That I wasn't worried abt him losing, but then plot twist, he loses. I felt sooooo bad. You did well haruto, and u would have if it were for me.
- ktl g group was the only g group that survived and was robbed of their mcountdown. I don't mean to say that k back door was bad, jongwoo killed it, I'd love to see jiwoong in studio choom. But, the g ktl was the best in terms of performance. Each contestant was great. Their chemistry was so good. If nobody's with me on this then well I'm robbed of the g ktl performance on mcountdown and studio choom.
Ps. Does mnet really think we're jobless to clown us with the 1st survivor announcement?! I don't want to tune in the next episode but I will anyways😭
ahh so many good points
These☝️
i love how Jiwoong's abs got a mention and rizzky.
@@tangerinu_u I didn't mean to say that the others were bad in g back door or that jiwoong performed bad and I was only looking at his abs. This is just what is in my head rent free 2 days after the performance aka highlights ig
@@tangerinu_u or maybe you meant "I love how..." and i misunderstood, I'm sorry🐳
Being honest here, I could see why a lot of K-groups won, but damn, it is always them, G-group ( expect from KTL-G) has received no benefits, so at this point I hope people voted for G-group this week, I hope they did.
Lol Daeul even took home the evil edit of the season award for the K group. True champions at everything it seems
Tbh even since ep 3 i started to vote for G-trainees only. I like some K-trainees ofc but due to all this disadvantage G-roup has, the evil editing or no screen time for some... It makes me want to vote for them more.
@@jabajbajjabajbaj5664 same same. i have a few k trainees i support but they're noticed enough so i go for G group more. cause their overlooked a lot. plus literally no votes for them. they're always losing.
I’ve been voting for one trainee from each country…so 8 (Thailand, Japan, China, Taipei, US, Canada, Vietnam, & Korea…then 1 trainee that stood out to me that week).
@@cindih78 which are the thai, viet, japan, taipei picks of yours? i want to see if they match my picks also.
the 4th episode was hard to watch 🥲 one trainee of the G-Group at the end of the episode said that the K-Group is way more talented than the G-Group and it broke my heart because that's not true at all! the G-Group Trainees are incredibly talented, not to mention Ricky and Jay for example (Jays did so well but Hui did also a great job in my opinion, Jay deserves better !) but the K-Group is way more popular in Korea, that's so hard to watch and I feel like the K-Group is going to win in every challenge
since its live votes, they got racism 🙄
There's no need to feel like it. They always will it's pretty obvious. I don't know why people here seem so surprised as if theyve never wayched an Mnet show before. Kpop fans never learn 😔
The xenophobia and favouritism in this series makes me uncomfortable. I hate seeing G-Group be made to feel lesser than K-Group when they are on par with them in terms of talent. It’s only their skills that need pruning. And tbh, G-Group is where most of the flair is at. I can only name a few trainees of K-Group that are actually interesting to watch perform.
@@Momogamer9 ik how mnet does shows but it still hurts to see the trainees sad and crying y'know!! like i hate seeing them belittling themselves and questioning their abilities. Especially the G trainee's.
@@bunnyeong14 fr. tell em. Koreans mostly go for k group who mostly have bland personalities, no hate. but i love the contrast in G group. they really make the show interesting.
Ugh Ollie is adorable and i felt so bad for him, especially with all the help he gave his team. I felt bad but I knew his compettion part wise was gonna win 😭
the fact that anthonny was the only one in G-LMR to have won the position battle and he couldn’t even feel happy about his win 😭 ahhhh G-LMR was robbed so bad it was heartbreaking watching that scene
I haven’t seen anyone mention this before. But remember how the mentors criticised love me right K team for being good individually but not having good teamwork in episode 3? The thing is, the way these votes work, it’s more important to do well individually than in a group to win which is so rigged
even if they did well individually if they're not popular it wouldn't matter sadly
@@raisha99 right🌚 even if their really talented, an unknown going against someone already w/ a well established fanbase is literally a death sentence for them atp😭.
I vote based on the individual. Idk, I just vote for whoever I think is a talented all-rounder who most likely has a future in kpop. Personality is important too though. If they can’t get along with the group or if they are very cocky, I don’t vote for them then. Group chemistry is key.
@@blade_1482Which is exactly why K Group Back Door team won
You are completely wrong. The mentors told them this so they could fix it, and they did. With Hui’s leadership skills he made them look like a real group. They had great chemistry on stage which is why they won. You can still show individual talent while looking like a group. They did great. G group was just lacking in skill.
Episode 4 was not easy to watch 😭😭😭
i felt so empty after finishing it...
I started watching it on Thursday and I still haven’t finished-
@pandamon514 same. It's like I had to watch it, but honestly at first I didn't want to
I skiped most of it
I physically couldn't sit and watch episode 4 it was so difficult especially with the evil editing but I somehow managed to get through it
For me the thing bother me the most is the scores gap which sometimes doesn't feel right. I love Jiwoong he is the reason I am watching this show. But seriously I also felt bad for Kamden. Aa an EXO-L I think Jay's voice suits this song. Like Hui is talented and his notes are awesome but for this particular EXO song suits Jay's voice more. His voice has similar vibes like DO. Haruto😪
im so disappointed the G group didn't win in the exo song. like Jay's voice is really nice to hear for that song. Hui was great but Jay's voice was just TOO good. I'm sad for my exo G group....a lot of my picks were in it.
this is just my opinion but after watching both g group and k groups performances on youtube without cutaways, k group was more polished overall. even if jay did a better job than hui (and imo both did amazing and its just a matter of preference, not lack of talent) and haruto did better than jeonghyeon, the overall team did a better job in k group. hanbin as the center had a lot of impact.
@@vl8518 In my opinion kgroup winning didn't bothered me that much but the thing is the gap between scores were pretty big. That was not right.
@@shainyjana9534 that i can agree with. the score difference between haruto and jeonghyeon was shocking.
@tata yeah thats what i said in another response to op.
I thought it was weird how all the K groups except one won glad I wasn’t the only one
coincidence i think not...
It's because the audience voted for the visuals
most of the audience are K-netz, that'd explain it all
jongwoo is a star, i swear he's so talented and he only gets better! very well-rounded performer, hopefully his popularity keep raising, i feel like he's such a great addition to the debut lineup, i need him to make it
It was definitely crazy to watch 😭 . G group got really robbed, tbh. Especially my boi Jay.
Omigosh it was so sad
Fr. They did too well to lose to a group that most likely only won bc of a popular member and the fact that the opposing team was Korean.
Loved the 40 minute live stream mnet did randomly to announce that Daeul is finally not in the Top 10 anymore. You can't convince me that's not why they did the live stream. Like why else would they do an extra live stream to announce the 13th place???
He's probably PD pick so~
it’s literally rigged 😭😭 i feel like there’s so many other boys who should be placed higher than daeul because he’s lacking A LOT
Girls Planet had better performances, but I see people like 2Hanbin, Jay, Seungyeon, GunWook, Kamden, Jiwoong, Yujin, Gyuvin, Yedam, Keita, Zhang Hao, Zi Hao, Ricky... They have talent!
seunghwan too ..
I just gotta say that while I agree with most of the winner groups, the individual vote proportions really made me angry at the audience. Like, somethings just don't make sense to me.
Jongwoo blew me away I'm voting for him from now on for sure his charisma is just off the charts
I think k group won most rounds cause most of the k group is well known and they have a strong fan base that gets them higher. Even if u sucked if u have a stable fan base you will most likely secure a win.
Edit: some of y’all are bogus, just like deual idk his name but he’s in kgroup his dance skills isn’t good or even his singing but he was in a higher place than most talented people. Like let’s be so for real some of the G groups that lost deserved to win.
let's not forget the audience is mostly koreans and handful amout of global fans
Definitely, it felt more like a popularity contest.
That’s what sucks the most about letting anyone and everyone vote.
It's a KPOP group being created. They have to be liked by the KOREAN people in order to be successful. I don't understand why everyone says it's a fan contest when there's plenty of G group in the top rankings and rankings can change at any time.
@@vivianlee6098 I think it’s because throughout the show it kind of feels biased towards the Korean contestants, especially because they keep pushing this K group vs G group agenda. I definitely get what you mean about them having to be likeable in order to succeed, for me at least it just sucks that a lot of skilled contestants get overlooked because they don’t have many fans but that’s just the flaw with most survival shows.
But yeah, the show just started so let’s see how it goes.
gonna be honest the k group hot sauce win was very deserved and it was not very close.. ollie is cute and all but phanbin PERFORMED
additionally i’m positive the ab flashing works considering jiwoong and hanbin got 250 votes each
@@darkboy2216but Phanbin can sing really well and dance amazing! He's charming and beautiful too.
Some of them k groups low-key did not deserve to win, no shade or nothing but I was so surprised that some of the teams beat g group especially by a large ahh margin. Like I'm not surprised K group love me right won but shii I didn't expect by that much
yeah exactly
About feminine Krystian, I think for this song they need to be more masculine, powerful and wild, so I think in terms of stage presence and his aura Krystian was too soft, I think mentor meant this
Mnet wants Yujin to debut BADDDD like all the closeups and reaction shots he got
I agree with you on Haruto vs Lee Jeonghyeon🥲 They both did well, but I liked haruto's flavour a lot more! Also, I'm glad to see another Lee Seunghwan fan☺ He was one of my top picks since the show started, because he was one of my biases in 1the9! I hope he makes it to the final lineup (or at least the finals) and also, can the song selection be in his favour next time🤨 he sounds so much better when he sings in his range!
I'm just glad that we're done with this first mission. The entire thing was flawed tbh, from the selection process (resulting in huge gaps in skills between groups) to the voting mechanics (allowing one member to 'carry' and entire group to victory, and also favours K trainees). I'm telling you we're losing more than half the G group trainees from this mission :") ugh MOVING ON~~
Krystian deserves better, mnet has it out fo him and its not fair!
facts my friend
I agree that he doesn’t deserve to be evil edited, but the things that he says and does doesn’t exactly help his case either :(
Just my opinions
- Haruto's scene broke me y'all, like He's so good and has such a fun loving personality TT Deserves better fr
- Danger G group should've won, overall they felt more like a team, for K group, it was Seunghwan who carried the whole team
- I can't choose between LMR K and G, like in K group, all the trainees did good individually, but G group came out better overall
- My KTL G group was robbed of that benefit (That group has 5/9 of my top picks)😭 And I was shocked that neither of the LMR groups got that too, I'm not against BACK DOOR K group, it has Taere and Junhyeon (rooting for both of them), But i wish I could see KTL G group win TT
-Tbh, they edit Han Yujin in a way, which shows like at first he receives backlash, and then works hard to improve, well good to know that he's doing well and I agree, MNET really wants him to debut
- My Top 9 if anyone is interested: Keita, Zhang Hao, Matthew, Wang Zihao, Haruto, Chen Kuan Jui, Cong, Wumuti and Anthony! (Protecting my G group coz MNET won't)
Inception era Seonghwa I AGREE. I was so mad cuz mnet just didn’t give Jiwoong his screen time, like at all. How did Haruto lose? How did Jay lose ???
I think ktl g team really deserved to win, currently they also have the most viewed performance video on Yt!
They need to stop inviting non Koreans on these fake shows. What’s the point if they aren’t going to be fairly judged. And at the end IK for sure only 2 or 3 non Koreans will be on the team if so much
Jihoo ate that performance, he was so good as a center
KTL G not getting a perf on Mcountdown is straight up robbery cuz they fit their chosen concept best and each member slayed, no one outshined anyone. Also the centre for KTL K (gunwook) was gud, i feel bad cuz he feels guilty but he personally did rly rly well.
Im also lowkey surprised Gyuvin won in individual votes. dont get me wrong hes one of my top picks but in this perf wise, he really wasnt that memorable. LMR G deserved to win, they fit the LMR vibes better, again every member slayed ESPECIALLY JAY (n haruto) so them losing even in individual votes rly shows favouritism in the live voters there n im not surprised theyre rooting for K team.
They need to stop inviting non Koreans on these fake shows. What’s the point if they aren’t going to be fairly judged. And at the end IK for sure only 2 or 3 non Koreans will be on the team if so much
Honestly, they should've just shown the KTL performances last to make G-group winning more 'poetic' or at least make the results less painful to watch.
The LMR results, while not surprising, was like rubbing salt in the wound after all the G-group that lost, especially when you consider that G-LMR had the most advantage yet still lost. They picked the team first, had compliments during rehearsals, three popular trainees, great dynamic, vocals, rap, and stability, and the opponent not being in good condition--and still lost. It just feels 'symbolic' in some way that, no matter what advantage they may have (or unless they have popular G-trainees like Hao, Keita, & Matthew), they will still lose to K-group. Regardless, K-LMR still did great, but they shouldn't have shown the results last imo.
Anyway, in my heart, the winners are Very Nice, Back Door, and Hot Sauce for K-Group, and Love Me Right, Kill This Love, Burn It Up, and Danger for G-Group. My top 3 performances are G-KTL, K-BD, and G-LMR in no particular order lol. Watching Episode 4 feels like a hate watch except during K-Back Door lmao.
I cant understand why korean fans just favorite k groups even though the g groups were better, also the fact that for the online voting its 50% korean and 50% global, isnt that just not fair?
I saw the elimination live happening and hurriedly messaged my friend and we both got on vc to watch it together. We were so nervous and excited to see the eliminations and guess what, they end up announcing only ONE trainee. 💀
I'm also so devastated with this show, every time I come back my no. 1 pick Krystian ends up getting evil edited. Mnet leave this poor boy alone 😭
I wouldn’t exactly consider Krystian a “poor boy.” Yes he is being evil edited but you can not make the words up that come out of his mouth. Nor can you erase his actions. He said and did some weird stuff in ep 3 and 4. It didn’t exactly help his image.
exactly so I've been following Krystian for some time now and we all know his personality is not like that
@@imsoshockaid I agree plus I thought the whole kamden situation was being evil edited but then I don’t think he would cry if it’s really not what it seems like so kinda think krystian was really like all they showed I have no idea
@@catinyoongisdoormat You can’t really know how he is unless you know him personally. Also Mnet can edit stuff, but they can’t edit the stuff that he says. He said all those things, when or how people reacted could be edited, but the thing he said is real. Also he said some stuff in english too so you can’t blame everything on Mnet giving wrong translation.
@@imsoshockaid I do understand he is assertive in some situations like the part where he wanted to get the center role. But being assertive isn't technically a bad thing from my opinion. If I was at his place, I would've also tried to keep my center part cuz at the end you get more screen time and lines.
when cong only got 30 votes i knew smth was off
I feel like the judges should’ve chosen which teams won bc I just find a bunch a favoritism and nationalism between the fans who were voting in the venue
I’m glad there’s at least one RUclipsr that’s covering the full episodes
JONGWOO SLAYED 😭. He's been on the lower end of votes, so please consider him next round. He was in the Mirotic demo stage and was initially praised for his charisma and low notes, so he got 3 stars. He lost one after the first signal song evaluation, and then they lowered him to 1 star after the other mentors judged his video too. Makes no sense to me, he did fine, he deserved to keep 3 or 2 at least, the song didn't suit his voice but it wasn't terrible. I'm glad he got to redeem himself in Back Door, the song was totally his style, Jiwoong is a genius for picking him (Mirotic besties for life, let's debut this iconic duo!).
jiwoong: shows abs for a second
ricky: CARRIES A WHOLE TEAM, A WHOLE STAGE, A WHOLE AUDIENCE, A WHOLE STAGE
**ricky has 60-70 individual points, and jiwoong has +250
no i kNOW THAT HE IS LIKE WONYOUNG KIND OF ATTRACTIVE- but... no... like.. that's unfair, cringe and ridiculous.
said the most risky, but REALIST opinion 😵
THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING!!! i dont understand why nobody is talking about it😭😭😭
Even jongwoo who was center in the k group performance only got 60 votes, jiwoong definitely did a great job but ngl everyone else did better
guess i should be happy now, that i'm not the only one who thought about this issue all night long :v
The fact that they didn't let us see other trainees score it will just tada yeah k group won. The audience are biased ofcourse plus this is popularity vote more and nationality.
Guys please let’s support and vote for LEE YEDAM he really is talented and improved a lot !!! And also let’s vote for talent and not looks because Lee Da Eul being in the debut line while not being ready to debut isn’t really interesting
Thank u like why is he in the linuep
My other thoughts:
- The reevaluation test was based on their performance of the signal song and probably potential, so i wouldn’t think too much about jongwoo getting fewer stars. He slayed back door tho! He defo suits that theme
- Keita gathering the all stars for G Kill This Love left the other g groups with fewer well-rounded trainees, anyway I do think KTL should have won the M countdown performance. Back door was good but KTL >>>
- Many performances either had mistakes or trainees who couldn’t match the position well (especially the main vocalists in g groups, simply because nobody else could take that position) 🤧 very few had clean performances overall, but i think i like this a little, it just shows mnet can’t focus on just one single voice crack for the whole mission lol
- all centers performed well (my shoutout to osuke, he made a good balance in g group hot sauce)
- i’m seriously pissed at how big the gap is at the accumulated k and g group votes. Like that 1.6k is way too much 😭 at this rate we won’t be left with a lot of g group trainees
- i won’t be surprised if there’s only one g group trainee in the final group 💀
- there’s certainly some favoritism in screentime, like c’mon mnet stop pushing them onto our faces lmao
- some group outfits were better in my opinion, for example: KTL g group, back door k group (g group is fine but i think black had more appeal for back door)
Etc.
I think all wins are valid tbh. It's not that LMR G group was robbed, Hanbin is suited for that center and if we're talking about vibe, that's subjective. However, Jay & Haruto deserves more individual votes. The only debatable one would be the Danger groups, Seunghwan carried K Team w/ his votes plus he did great but overall G did well.
totallyy agree with this - the danger group was the questionable one, I love seunghwan but G-group overall did better. For LMR, it was a close fight tbh
Yeah I think it’s just insane that there was a such a gap in votes, because the gap in performance quality was very small imo
I feel very nice G group should have also won considering ouju's mistake wasn't as big compared to k group
@@cojinmango The mistake showed in his face tho. Junghyun had his voice cracks in the beginning but his expressions never faltered so as an audience it's something I wouldn't notice that much. Plus Seungeon, the main vocalist of K Group was belting the high notes. He's a really good singer.
@@ermika_kris6256 when I watched the full performance without all those reactions Ouju's face wasn't that noticeable in my opinion. Although it's true Seungeon did it amazingly... Cong's charisma and sweet tune is unmatched xD
This is going to sound horrible but I really want a NEW group. As much as I love Hui, Hwanhee, Keita, JiWoong, Seowon, Winnie, Jiho, etc etc etc….I think they should get as much benefit from the program and work with their original teams (or solos, if that’s the only option).
Also, I want a group of talented trainees, and if they are cute, handsome, have great personalities and abs, even better, but come on…talent should be the main factor.
We can’t help the editing, manipulation, one-sided voting system and I’m sure some talented contestants are getting lost in the mix, but here are my ideal top 9:
1. K Hanbin- main dancer, visual
2. G Zhang Hao - leader, visual
3. K Seung eon - main vocals
4. G Jay - main vocals
5. K Gun Wook - stage presence, all rounder
6. G Seok Matthew - stage presence, all rounder
7. K Seobin - rapper
8. G Haruto - rapper
9. This is the most difficult but honestly, I’m rooting for Ricky…he stands out, period. Every group needs a Ricky😂
Lol that every group needs a Ricky hahahaha true tho 😂
This is the most I’ve been invested into a survival series, so I’ve CONSTANTLY been conflicted about seeing the artists I already know making it, especially Hui. People like Jiwoong and Jongwoo have been in groups, yes, but they’ve never had a proper spotlight (in terms of being an idol) and I think at least a select few should still make it or at least have the opportunity. But yeah, there’s so many talented contestants that I’m fine either way it goes. Love your picks btw 😁
Jiwoong was so badly mistreated by his company that they had to file a lawsuit, I feel like they all deserve a chance in the spotlight since a lot of these were under nugu groups(will always be conflicted abt hui tho)
I agree with you, but some of these already-debuted idols are from unpopular groups and/or bad companies. I feel like Jiwoong and Tae Rae should at least debut in the finale. Hui would be better off producing and composing songs, but it seems like he still wants another shot at fame, so I won’t say he shouldn’t go for it.
Your Top 9 would be a DREAM 😭
The thing is most if not all of the voters(audience) were korean. But the clear winners were robbed. Even if you're korean and yes you love the k trainees that's not a good thing to do😭 I will NEVER understand how Haruto lost.😭
But during the show we can see a lot of foreigners in the audience. I don't think there are is such a big gap between Koreans and foreigners
Apparently the audience was 40/60 so that's not true
@@sapphire6806 They didn’t comment about it in the episode? Well even if it was 40/60 it’s not that big of a difference for g group to lose by that much. That means international fans preferred k group too

after this episode, ricky has become my 1 pick! but with the way things are going with the g group trainees, it'll be a miracle if he makes it to final eliminations T_T

@@GLORYEATER hopefully 🤞🏽
About the abs thing, i don't think it's showing their abs that secures them points but the way they portrey their confidence through it. To talk a little more specifically, trainees Park hanbin and Kim Jiwoong who showed their abs inside the performance (im not including the guya who performed burn it up because that was part of the official choreography) both have IMACULATE stage presence and their moves didnt portrey some kind of "flexing my body" altitude. On the contrary, they did it in a charismatic way and added it inside their parts in such a smooth way. Also, aside from the person who's doing it, I think the impact of it has to do with the song/part. like, it would have been so random in a song like aju nice but it did fit prefectly with hot sauce pre chorus
i agree esp because idols show their abs in choreography all the time. even felix does it in side effects. jiwoongs made the most sense too because the line he has literally says "make em say wow wow wow yeah" and i mean...he definitely did
@@vl8518Agree with you. In the whole performance Jiwoong had only one line and showing his abs suited him and the performance.
honestly the only bad thing to come out of the Back Door performance is now some people (ok only a few but that's still too much there should be no Jiwoong haters at all) think Jiwoong is only a pretty face and has no talent and that he's doing well only because he showed off his abs.
I really hope he gets to prove them wrong in later episodes, he's an all around super talented person.
@@DeeFightingDreamer damn i had no idea this was people's reaction... It definitely isn't true for any of the guys that showed their abs. Jiwoong only had one line and made it the most memorable while parkhanbin carried the whole performance!! They're both my top picks and it's really disappointing to see that everyone is so quick to criticize everything 🤦♀️
I agree ....Jiwoong made himself completely noticeable and rememberable even with his 3 sec part. And also I am glad he didn't fight for more parts but let tge others take it. He will get enough time to prove himself because he is popular but the others needed to prove themselves to survive the 1st elimination.
Also Jiwoong already has songs in spotify and he has sung publicly before too. People should listen to them before saying he is untalented.
Jay & haruto>>>>
Honestly, Chuang Zao Ying 2021 in China was also a global/international project for a boy group and even though it messed up (even rigged the votes with some evil edit) but now I realised it was still better than Mn*t's show. At least they did not pit Global against Domestic trainees. And it was still fairer for the contestants to compete. And the final lineup consists of 5 Chinese, 5 International with 1 in-between (Daniel Zhou, he's Chinese-American and was signed to a Chinese agency/company). At least if Mn*t wants to form a global group, they should never have pitted K against G. The trainees should have had the chance to work with each other from the beginning so that they could understand and help each other. Gosh this is just so stupid. If some of my picks from CZY4 and YWY3 had not entered this show, I would never have cared. But now I do and I'm mad, not just because of Mn*t's mistreatments toward my picks but also toward other trainees, esp those from G group.
theory - mnet purposely developed this k vs g concept in order to try and eliminate as many g group contestants as possible before they could get too popular.
I still don’t know how Anthonny was the only one who won against k, Netizens????
It just occured to me that Mnet's editing style of repeating the same scene multiple times has the same over the top quality of a dramatic Indian soap opera's. Even if somebody's part was excellent, it would lose its charm & would become hard to be taken seriously 🙄.
I can already see the final group lineup being 90% k group, 10% g group.
I love the "kill this love" performances but k-groups "back door" was AMAZING🔥
I have been 😍 over Jiwoong and Jongwoo( aka SF9 Chani 's son) since day 1. I'm happy Jongwoo is finally getting the recognition he deserves😭.
Same!! I will absolutely be so crushed and super annoyed if he doesn't make it, due to mnet putting him in the second half of the performances, and giving all the people who fell for him after the backdoor performance only ONE day of voting 😠
I love how they all go he's a 1-star, right? Lol whoever evaluated him must've been sneezing a lot everytime they got mentioned 🤣
@@Alena-cq1ze Exactly, that would crush me so bad and piss me off even more😡
@@NekoNyan yeah, now they are realizing the stupidity behind the judgment process. The judges need to put on some glasses 🧐 bc they are not seeing things clearly.
@@purplecristal1124 as much as you want to hate judges. I watched some of them and they just didn't do well . How are the judges supposed to give them stars? Predict future ? They probably were nervous or simply do better in a group . I am not understanding the hate for judges ?
I understand that international fans think the difference in treatment between the g group and the k group is unfair (I do too), but that shouldn't interfere with our judgment.
I saw a lot of people saying that the G group deserved to beat the K group in the performance of love me right, but they didn't deserve it.
K group's performance was better. The K group's vocals were more stable than the G group's (I love Anthonny but his vocals were too shaky). K group's dance was more clean and synchronized.
Also, the K group's energy was much better (you can clearly see it at the end of the performance, in the 'dance break'). They were having fun. They were relaxed on stage. They really looked like an already debuted group.
The only thing the G group was better at than the K group in the performance of love me right was Haruto's rapping. He's better than the K group rapper. (but the K group rapper wasn't bad either, he did what had to be done)
And about the high note... there is no better or worse. Both Jay and Hui were amazing and delivered the original high note of the song. The high note part is more a matter of preference. There are people who will prefer Jay and others Hui.
I felt sad for Jay and Haruto because they carried their love me right fo g group performance on their backs. I think Jay didn't deserve to receive so few votes. But that was to be expected, because this performance took place in January and he still didn't have a solid fan base, unlike Hui.
THIS. I’m honestly so tired of people being biased. The worst is they complain about koreans (and I understand cause they definitely are biased) but international fans are doing the same. People should just vote for their faves and don’t deny talent
i feel bad for hui honestly cause some jay fans be hatin on him...
@@patschild Jay is literally being slaughtered for false accusations..with pentagon fans literally scheming to bring out a false bullying accusation against him on twt.

I understand what you mean. K group did do better overall. But there were times when G group should have won over K group. There’s obviously some bias with mnet and the Korean fans.
guys lets support LEE SEUNGHWAN he is oustanding!! and slayed the performance
At this point i’m only voting g group and this episode showed me why. Koreans will only vote for the k group and since majority of the live viewers were Korean that’s why only 1 g group won.
It seems that after this episode knetz are very angry at daeul for the way he behaved and with the fact that he was the only ranked at the preview, so I can see his falling arc starting (he was already pictured in a bad light here and things could go even further).
I love hui and I want him to debut, but objectively Jay did better, his voice was more suited for this song. Very mad that the love me right g group wasn’t acknowledged as they should.
This whole mission was a setup to eliminate as much g group as mnet can, this is tue first survival where they don’t mix the trainees from the start (unlike gp999 and pd48) and this was the reason. We’re lucky if 15 or 20 from g group survive
Is that why MNET pulled that stunt with the survivor announcements? They want to milk the global fans for at least one more week?
@@bokumo7063 maybe, because when they first announced it it said first survival, as a whole, and then that changed it to first survivor, so my bet is that they wanted to milk the fans
Yes I only vote for Wang zihao and G group lol

Same thoughts here! Totally bewildered how stressful Ep 4 was for the G Group 😭
Honestly, most of the G Group trainees performed way better than K Group trainees. And please, if Lee Da Eul is still in Top 9 even tho how bad he performed plus Star Masters were also noted how he tends to be way too carefree and don't even put effort unto his performance during practice.
Backdoor K Group performance was good but KTL ate it and left no crumbs 😭🥺
Lee Da Eul ranked 13th. There was a live at around 1 AM EST where they announced the first survivor and it was Lee Da Eul who happened to rank 13. I think they are going to announce who survived from each team first then they are going to announce 11-1 at the end (I think. The subtitles were confusing) then they are going to announce 52nd place
Lee Daeul is now 13tj. They announced it in the livestream.
Mnet took a minute and a half to show reactions and repeat the same part, like mnet I'am gonna kill you. But I'm happy cause Leejeong won and finally got screentime 😊, Leejeong did a great job too, I hope you don't hate him.
I don’t even consider what they did to Krystian as an evil edit. I honestly think he is too assertive as a personality to work in a group competition. It’s not a bad thing usually but in an Asian cultured teen demographic show, it’s really not gonna do well for you. The voting population will take it as being rude rather than being seen as fighting for your life to make it to the next round. It’s sad but I see Krystian dropping a lot but honestly it’s on him and not the edit.
I'm high key worried the group will end up with Yujin in it cause he is seriously a super strong 1 pick among Korean female voters which is why MNET is forcing his screen time so hard.
My favourite performance overall is KTL G, Backdoor K and LMR G. If we could switch Jay with Hui and Haruto with whoever did his part in K, I'd say LMR K would be the best performance.
couldn’t agree more with the love me right part
I totally agree with the Krystian part. You can only blame so much on evil editing, I understand that it’s all about surviving and getting screen time but like at the same time it’s about winning as an overall team
@@Solariamoonshine I don't think its winning as an overall time in terms of actual performance. I think for the people voting in at home, its really important for the contestants to show a harmonic attitude during the practice process. So even if you are someone who wants to assert their opinions, its probably best to shut up and be quiet so that you don't go in bad favour with the voters.
Kristin could have persuaded his group into keeping the killing part and doing amazingly on stage but I think her assertive demeanour would have lost him voters either way.
@@Uwubestie yea I get where you are coming from, it does seem like Krystian will drop quite a bit.
I think in ep 3 was definitely evil-editing. It was clear they cut parts out and rearranged clips.
On the one hand, I understand why Krystian would want one part in the center after losing the center part. He went from center to like 2 lines. Plus I'm sure mnet is doing everything to sabotage him.
On the other hand, he was being too pushy this episode.
i agree. Hui and Jay, technically did great. But Jay stood out, because his aura was not cringey. Im not saying Hui was, but Jay was enjoying it, while Hui was pressured.
NO because my problem with Love Me Right was that while K Group's Love Me Right was collectively better, Hui did not do that much better than Jay to deserve 100 MORE VOTES/DOUBLE HIS VOTES, even if Hui wins, a more neck to neck score would make more sense; that's the clearest sign of popularity influence if there was any (I personally think Jay did better but who's asking HAHA). And Haruto was robbed as well >.> Anyways, G Group Kill This Love was (subjectively) the best performance overall but I suppose if I had to chose a K Group for the MCountdown (because come on, we all knew it was going to be K Group) I would have picked Back Door.
I have to sort of snort laugh every time a BP episode comes on and they put up that message about the external agency ensuring fairness. Even in some of the instances where I can see K group winning, the margins of victory were just...sus. Like you, I think Hui's and Jay's scores should have been closer, and that's no shade to Hui. I love him. Pentagon is one of my top three groups. You could see the G group guys (particularly Zhang Hau and the other Kill This Love guys) going "WTF?" in their heads. It was sad to see them just deflating and knowing there was nothing they could do about it. I'm also watching Peak Time, and the difference in feel of these two shows is so striking. I thought the same when I watched Wild Idol. Mnet survival shows just feel shadier than those on JTBC and MBC.
PwC was not in the Korean live audience that voted on the stage performances... bias is bias...

hahahaha
I love your commentary! You definitely echoed my thoughts while watching the show
You know what at this point i am wishing that mnet just create survival show based ONLY in popularity. Supposed their intention is not to highlight talents but POPULARITY. Like, letting knetz do all the job for choosing what they like. Instead of creating a survival show, that use dance, vocal and visuals as FRONT ACTS and INTENTIONALLY basing all votes on popularity. It is just a waste of life for trainees to go on a group project show that does NOT VALUE their talents and efforts.
yoon jongwoo is gonna be my one pick when the time comes, he needs to be this season's dark horse!!
YES WE SHALL RISE 💪💪💪
I'm so glad you mentioned that. In "Love Me Right", how did Haruto not win?
I know some peoplemay disagree, but I wish they would have kept the GP999 system where the masters chose the winners. The problem with this system, where you have international vs korean with mainly Korean audience vote (I know the show some international fans screaming, but it is always the same fans. I am quite certain almost all fans who came were Korean, and korean fans tend to favour Korean trainees, something we saw within the Korean votes. I don't mind Korean fans having 50% of the votes in the system, as this is a Korean show, but I think you need to have a neutral vote for the benefits, and having masters do it, who would analyze skills, rather than Korean fans, who analyze popularity and well, whether you are Korean or not, really kills all hope for any global trainee who may wish to be part of the show. I don't mind having the Korean/Global set up, I can understand why they do, but poor G group, they stood no chance.
They need to stop inviting non Koreans on these fake shows. What’s the point if they aren’t going to be fairly judged. And at the end IK for sure only 2 or 3 non Koreans will be on the team if so much
Judges won’t make a different they can be manipulated or influenced or bribed. Nothing is fair about this and nothing can change that
ok this is not the right time but at 16:37 jays visuals are OUT OF THIS WORLD hes so good looking and im so upset that the difference between him and hui’s score was like 100+ it just doesn’t make sense to me!!!!!! ahhhhh im so annoyed
i don’t understand how mnet thought pinning the global and korean trainees against each other was ever a good idea. like aren’t they supposed to be trying to introduce global idols to the scene more?? why are they separating them??? and it should be common sense that in korea, korean trainees will be more popular. not to mention that foreign trainees have a history of falling behind in mnet shows not because of lack of talent but because they’re in a different country put in a system they’re less familiar with.
All the members who have the Killing Part, also have outfits that make them stand out from the others. Sung Hanbin has a black college jacket instead of a red one, the Burn it up teams have either a red or a blue outfit instead of white, and so on. The outfits of the episode 3 performances were more subtle about it though, for some reason. Idk, they always had something to make them stand out (as far as I remember), but some teams are definitively more obvious about it. XD
Dude even the camerawork is also better on K group than Ggroup.
like it's already harder for g group because of the language barrier why do they keep pinning them against k group? Also because the public is mostly korean so of course they're going to vote for k group even when g group did better
the biased voters gets on my nerve also. like they showed us a lot of voters from different ethnicity, but in the end we know that most of them are korean. then putting someone with 6+ years of built popularity is just unfair bcs we all know how that affects voting. my heart goes to all g boys, hopefully many of them survived next round. fr i think us international fans should only vote for g boys seeing how mnet is treating them.
Yes I only vote for G group especially Wang Zihao
As much as it pains me to say this, from an objective standpoint, LMR K group did a lot better. Their vocals as a team were more stable, and their performance overall was way cleaner. Hanbin is such a standout center and the show’s golden boy, so it’s unsurprising that he got many individual votes along with Hui (who still added so much of his own flavor to the performance!) But… they were the only ones who I actually took notice of in K group, which is so embarrassing to say because Yedam is actually in my Top 9 and I forgot he performed with them 😭😭😭
In my personal opinion though, Jay outperformed everyone in both groups, and Haruto KILLED the rap. They did the best as individuals with Hanbin and Hui following after. Overall, I had so much more fun with G group’s performance… the hand hearts were adorable and unique! The energy was on another level, and from a concept standpoint, they delivered a more enjoyable stage by far… though I know others would disagree. I became aware of each of the G group boys just because they each had a lasting impact on me.
For individual votes, I can’t remember what Haruto’s were, but Jay actually had the 4th highest score of all people in the teams (after Hanbin, Hui, and Gyuvin) which matches up with his popularity ranking imo, but the gap was HUGE. He’s one of the more well-known contestants, and yet STILL underrated somehow. He’s on par with Hui for the best vocalist in the show, and his stage presence makes him seem like an already debuted idol. The fact that I can see him making it to the finals, but just barely missing the cut makes me bitter already just thinking about it. Ugh… manifesting Jay and Haruto’s debut 🙏
I agree I watched both to be fair and K group had better singers overall and their stage performance was good however G group was carried by Jay and they looked like they were having fun it was sooo much fun to watch G team, out of the two groups Jay was the best. Hui is a great amazing singer but Jay’s voice charisma just makes him better to watch.
Y’all better vote for yoon jongwoo
Haruto deserved better.
I’m not saying Jay should’ve won because I totally am biased and still know Hui is great, but… He deserved more votes for that!

Not sure if anyone would agree with me but I wish they judged the performances in a similar way they did girls planet. I’d prefer the masters to choose the winning teams. It seems more fair since the audience would obviously be biased in choosing k groups and the episode proves that. It would be more fair towards g group trainees having a real good chance at surviving. They could have still have the audience do the one pick but reveal it after the winning team was revealed. I’m not sure if I’m making any sense but I hope it was a good enough explanation.

I personally felt like the K group wins were pretty much justified (at least from my point of view I mostly preffered their performance) but the scores gaps were a bit too much. The only G group I was thinking maybe should have won is Danger but yeah Seunghwan carried. All shows are like this but it was a bit sad seeing G group lose all the time…. i hope next time the 2 groups will be mixed to see how would things be in that scenario.
Somebody has to say this and you did. Thank you!!!
So glad you added Seunghwan to your Top9, he really needs the support!! I hope he gets to debut 🙏🏻
IMMA GONNA SAY THIS WITH NO RESPECT... JAY AND HARUTO DESERVED BETTER. Like i like Hui and the other rapper in the K group but please, PLEASE. Just no.
there wasn't even a jay vs hui or haruto vs "other rapper" thing, mnet just made it seem that way.
the audience only gets to vote one trainee per song.
Thank you. I 100% agree.
the thing is that k group does have a benifit like when both the teams perform equally good then k group wins and even if they perform like about 10% less than g group they still have chance to win.. first at keita
The thing is mnet can control who votes because they choose the crowd... Imo they make the crowd 95% korean and then of course k group would win because they favor some unknown korean trainee over Haruto... also the next side mission with the fancams who gets the most views already makes me mad because when the top 3 are all korean than of course k group would win. Like can we stop giving more advantages to a group who already has a huge advantage to begin with?
