I add can of green chilis..and in half of a lot of pickled jalapenos..yummy. I got lots of left over corn. Bread so im gonna add and egg and crumble the corn. BRead..wish me luck

I have made this before we call it Corn Pudding made it one year for a building Christmas Party the young folks had no idea what it was and never had it before. It was a hit. As you said it's delicious inexpensive and easy to prepare. You also suggest adding onion powder I have added fresh chives cut up small in the batter as well. Thank you for sharing
At the beginning, I wondered what you added to make the batter so delicious looking. That batter in a cup...I still couldn't get that. So I'll check the description. But this looked so appetizing.

Mansa Queen, Try making it this way. I didn't totally follow your recipe. I hardly ever totally follow someone's recipe completely. I add my own touch. I used honey instead of vanilla extract. I also used two boxes of Jiffy, because I have a really deep dish. I doubled my eggs & because I don't like cream style corn, I added soften cream cheese to the one package of corn. Yes, package of corn. I used thawed & rinsed frozen corn. The end result is amazing!! So, delicious!!
This will be perfect with as a small square on top of my husband’s homemade chili.
