I've already done these mods but I will revisit in the future as I need to change a couple of failed bulbs so stay tuned 😃
As for the honeycomb grill it's possible to do this mod without removing the bumper as you screw it to the front , hope this helps 🙂
2:28 The click nose looks quite different. Do you think you can remove the ebay lights the same way as the originals? Its already hard to get the originals out and looks like i could be even more difficult for the new ones...
They are very slightly different but definitely the correct ones, with a bit of light persuasion they do eventually go in 😊

Unfortunately, these lights fit only MK1 (pre-facelift) RCZ. MK2 models have a slightly different connector and these lights do not fit. I couldn't find proper LED plate lights for my MK2 RCZ. Also, removing those plate lights is a pain in the ***.

They actually do fit once they have a lil cut above the inner joint so that the outer sleeve can be fixed into its natural position
@@WeeSmokey probably you are right, I remember trying to grind some edges on those LED lights but eventually I gave up and just inserted some LED bulbs.

With a Stanley knife
If you look at the old 1 you can see where the cut needs to be made on the inner part of the square fits like a glove now and made a massive difference to the output since I have the bold pop out

I had the same problem. A bit of work (took 3 fittings) with a hacksaw and a stanley knife to trim off plastic parts in the new LED unit ...... and it now fits a treat with no issues/flickering!
I can’t take the old ones out whatever I try, any help?
They are in there pretty right, but they will come out, be persistent and take your time, use a good quality screwdriver or plastic removal tool , watch and pause my video if you can 😊
I will tell you right now Leonardo they are in backwards then that's what mine was like 🥴
And it was almost Impossible getting in there from the wrong side had to really prize it open and wedge it with a flat plastic tool
