Great video brother! Appreciate you showing a comparison of off-brand to name brand. Been using Kemei clippers for a while and the motors work well. Haven’t had any issues yet.

I've had the Kemei 1986 for about a year and I love them. It's about the only off brand product that I'll swear by!
I’m 3 months in using this MOD and it’s still crazy good!
@@TheBarberPhil it's products like this that will help get the prices down for the other name brand clippers. If Kemei can continue to show that they can make a quality clipper for sub 50 dollars and people buy them in mass! Andis, Babyliss, Oster and others will have to bring them prices down....
I got same clipper, not just that it's priced right, but the motor, and blade is actually powerful and glide cutting with no pull.
Kemei 1986 is a fantastic clipper.
@@TheBarberPhilI got the kemei 1931 today I ordered it the end of last month and I used it and believe me when I say it's fire 🔥 and I haven't changed the blade or 0 gap it

Great video man. I have both the kemei and vgr trimmers with the Andis blade. I use them on kids to debulk and line 💯
I love mine. Still one of the quietest trimmers I have, and hits just as hard as it did on day one!

@@FranSN- the Andis is better but it will cost you around $190. On the other hand the kemei will cost you approx 25-30 and another 25 for the Andis blade and you still have to do the work to swap the blade. The kemei is just affordable and will get the job done. I hope this makes sense. Have a good one buddy.

I never tried the stock blade, but man im loving the GTX. This is maybe one of the favorite MODS yet!

It’s crazy how nice it actually is. Still quite, still removes bulk, doesn’t snag on the neck.
Just lost my Kemei 1949 with wahl t blade mod. Immediately went looking for a new kemei modded trimmer. This one seems awesome. Ordered the 1931 with gtx blade. Let's go !!!

hey man, got a question, im new to the game for like 3-4 months and everytime when i do fades my fades would look compressed, even if i stretched out the guidelines it still looks compressed, any tips ?
Try watching either the half attack video or the fading down video I have. The half attack isn’t the best haircut, I’ll be honest, but the method seems to work. Debulk the sides with a closed 3, set your bald line, then open section, blend it out, half open 1.5 guard, blend that out with a half open .5 guard. That should pretty much set the fade up, but come back in with the 1 guard and do detail work, same with the 2 guard.

Close it, then open it 2 clicks, that’s pretty much half.
Does your x ergo maintain its position with the stretch bracket?
As long as the lever screw is slightly tighter, and you don’t press in on the head really hard, it should be perfectly fine.

Never tried it with that blade
can you make a video on the kemei 2010??In my opinion is a better magic clip than the magic clip because for a fraction of the price you get metal body and battery indicator and you can put the wahl blade on them

hey man, ive done ur steps and for some reason when i turn it on my blade rattles ? only quiets down when i push the blade in but when i let it go it rattles, any idea how to fix it

You just simply buy the trimmer on Amazon and the Andis GTX-EXO blade wherever is the cheapest, then watch my video and follow along. Very simple mod.

Well I actually don’t have the Andis GTX-EXO. The one I used in the video belongs to one of the guys I work with. I own and use the Kemei.

I wouldn’t lie to you, it’s seriously legit. That crazy part is, it has remained quieter than the actual Andis GTX EXO that were purchased at the same time at the shop. Still remove bulk just as well, still cleans up under the neck without snagging just as well, still puts out sharp lines just as well.
With the Andis t outliner blades the kemei km 1931 cuts great and run quieter
Mine is still quieter than all the Andis GTX’s in the shop, and still hits hard and debulks great.

what's wrong with the original kemei blades? they don't cut?
I honestly never tried the original blade. I made the video right at the peak of the EXO coming out so I bought it just for that purpose
