I watched this video and decided to pick this trimmer up. You are correct, they are hitting right out the box! They are better than the 2299 to me and much more quiet. Feels great in the hand with the metal body. Well worth the $15 i paid 😁 Thanks!
Hi Scizza, good to hear a barber like yourself, not spouting hyped up BS about overpriced clipper brands, trying to maximise their profits at other barbers expenses Thank you.. keep rockin..
Is the Kemei much louder than the VGR v640 trimmer? It seems like it would be loud. Since the VGR blades are not adjustable any idea where to find replacement “stock” blades?
Yes the Kemei is louder but cuts over all better and the blade is adjustable.. as far as replacing blades I haven’t run into a problem to have to look but as soon as I find some info I will relay the message 🦾💈🚌
J ust got my Kemei 993, wow, great construction. Can't believe this costs so cheap. When i do a full head self bald cut with Kemei 2293 should i cut with the tip side or with the flat side? What is the difference? better go against the grain or with the grain or both?
Thanks for the review. Is Kemei km-2293 suitable to use for sensitive skin ? I am looking for a new trimmer for dry shaving my facial hair. There are dry shaving trimmers like Kemei km-2351and km-2350 but these are out of my budget. I was thinking if I could put another less costly blade on Kemei 2293 but not sure which kemei or babyliss replica blade will fit.
@@scizzahands thank you. Sorry for the typo - the new trimmers were Kemei 2351 and kemei 2350. The Kemei 2293 blade seems sharp so it will last longer. However is there any precautions you would like to share while using it ? The kemei km-i32 blade is not that sharp but I doubt that trimmer or it's blade lasts very long.
Hey man, thank you for the video. I bought the trimmer after I saw your video. I just have a question, how do I use the liquid that was in the box? And when should I use it?
Awesome glad it was helpful. That’s oil for the blade just use a couple drops on each sides of the blade where they rub together… helps to do it when it’s on to move the oil where it needs to be then whip excess .. you do this when you feel your blade is dry or getting hot fast usually after cleaning it really well. Helps also prevent faster wear and rusting of the blade
Looks great. Is km-2293 better than kemei km-i32S for dry shaving, finishing and bulk removing facial hair ? Are these trimmers still working for you ?
I32s is complete junk compared to to the 2293 and yes I’m still using it everyday as my man trimmer absolutely in love with it and actually though when ordering it would be junk but it’s great
@@scizzahands thanks for the honest review. I also came across Kemei km-1855. It has brushless motor and my first impression is that it's very accurate and is safe for using on facial hair. In your experience, does Kemei km-2293 give a clean shaven look and is comfortable to use on face and neck ? What do you think about km-1855 ? If you are planning to make another video include km-1855 and Lence pro FF1T too. May be compare them with other trimmers you have used. Love your channel.
It cuts nice and close and cutting skin or not is based on how zero gapped your blade is and the angle you hold it at .. but they cut excellent just don’t expect bald from any trimmer .. they are not shaver.. I’d describe it as a very close 5 o’clock shadow.. I use them when doing skin fades to take the hair down then use a shaver to get to bald I love them
@@scizzahands For whole head cut would you say 2293 get the closest to bald head? Also, what shaver would you say is the best for shaving the head for true bald? I see some use foul shavers, some rotary shavers, some razor...

I’ve always used the Andis double foil shaver .. I tried the Andis resurge I liked it at first but I feel like it gets dull faster and always would go back to the original double foil. I also use a TPOB mini skull shave but only for the hard to get spots. I’m definitely interested in finding something stronger and has foil and blades that last longer .. but I like being able to pick up replacements local if mine breaks.

Try the dk bag pro but switch blade to the precision blade that it comes with or change to style craft blade
