I ordered my F2 just minutes before the price increase last year. What I received a couple of months later was the upgraded F2 with the digital readout and a great saw overall. I had the 220 conversion kit and when I went to change it over the wiring was completely different (thanks to the DRO) and so I wrote Laguna about it. Seems I was the first to change it over and they had to get back to me. It took a few weeks but they finally wrote with the updated instructions. Must say that 220 is the way to go.
I went to make sure that everything was lined up and everything spec'd out... not as easy to adjust if things were out of alignment I think.
Overall, I'm super pleased with this machine and every time I walk into my shop I kinda pinch myself that I have something that's stepped up my hobby of woodworking.
    Thanks for your review

The digital readout has a button to zero the machine at 90. Then your real 45 should read 45

Was going to mention that its in the DRO manual. Am thinking of buying so I read the manual and it's the 4th page. :(

Thank you for the video. I also am a garage user of the saw, but mine does not have the digital readout. I purchased mine 2 years ago. My son and I make furniture (more of a modern take) but am learning more professional methods… dovetails, Domino, mortise / tenon, etc. I do agree on the flex tube hose above the blade. Yup, it works, but it seems a bit cheesy, as does the bracket. I love the fence. Cannot find any complaint. Truthfully, I love having a professional table saw. My former was a Rigid contractor-style pop-up. I still have it, but probably may never really use it much ever again. Over the past two years, I have had really great success and no downside issues. I don’t use the miter gage, as I purchased an Incra and a fence… also highly recommend the Rockler miter sled and drop off accessory. Thanks, and enjoy making things! Michigan says hi!

Awesome! So far I’m really happy with everything. This being my first cabinet style saw I couldn’t imagine going back to a contractor saw either.

It's cool to hear from other users of this saw. It's weirdly hard to find good/detailed reviews of it, like this one here! I plan to do one eventually when I make a channel hopefully... but not quite there yet. Glad to hear how you use your saw @Rick. I have the same pre-digital read out version. like 2 months pre... ugh.. but they raised the price of the saw $200 adfter that update so i'm good.

Thanks for the great overall review of the Laguna F2! I'd love it if more people that owned this would put more videos out on it. I think SawStop gets a lot of default new purchases simply because it's everywhere! And this is a true GOOD! replacement for that as a new woodworker. I purchased mine about a year ago thanks to ShopNation's video. I'd been wanted to upgrade from my Dewalt contractor saw for a while, but the intro pricing on virtually any brand of true cabinet saw was pretty daunting! And the middle ground area wasn't that appealing. But the F2 is a truly great saw, especially for the money. Thanks again for your review.
I look forward to seeing what you make with it!

I too watched Shop Nations review of it and that was a major driving force for me. Thanks for the kind words!

Thanks for the review. There is definitely a Baileigh cabinet saw in my future but I love to see what's out there and what other people think.

After cutting 8/4 walnut with an M18 contractor saw, this thing seemed amazing by comparison.

It really does cut it just fine, figured my issue might have been the fact I’m using a 15amp extension outlet… on a 20amp outlet I’m sure it wouldn’t have stalled out. That’s pretty incredible what you can do with a cordless tablesaw though!

Appreciate the Pro/Con review and you noting how you use it. One question I have about this saw and several others I have looked at/considered few people think to review/comment on. That is how easy or not it is to change from riving knife to splitter and back again. Some saws make it so awkward that people start using the saw without either, not a great option. Could you comment on how you find the Fusion with this function.. Thx.

The riving knife comes on and off very easily with a flip lock lever. I have not used the blade guard/overhead dust collection system very much if that’s what your referring to.

I have the Fusion F1, because my shop is too small for the F2.
The F2 has better features, is bigger. F2 is worth the difference of price by far.

You lamented The difficulty of finding a wrench to use in lieu of the blade lock.I have a F1 Fusion and needed to replace my wrenches. Really difficult to find. I ended up finding a perfect replacement…an offset 18 mm wrench on a figure skating website.

After a year of using this saw would you still recommend it? I am currently using the dewalt job site saw that you used, how is the power and dust collection compared to this saw? Thanks.

Does the fence actually stay true when setting up for a measurement? My current table saw when I set my fence to say 8 inches, the place closest to the fence handle will be 8 inches from the blade but the far end will be 1/16th of an inch off or so. So I have to constantly measure the front and back of my blade to the fence and keep taping the fence over and over again to make sure I'm perfectly parallel. I'm wanting to upgrade my saw and love the SawStop but the Laguna F2 seems perfect for my needs, with a lower price tag. I just don't want to have another fence with this issue

Hey there, mine stays very true. It has adjustment screws for setting it up square and once you do, you should be good to go. I haven't had any issues with it.

Laguna has the worst customer service in the industry matched only by their horrible horrible warranty department I will never buy another Laguna two extremely disappointing

That's interesting to hear, since I've had exactly the opposite experience. I've had a few minor things go out on my F2 (pre digital angle reader version) but each one they been timely in responding to. And the one time I needed a part it got here right quick. I hope they give you better service the next time you need them.

Im.with Carlos. I have an F3, and a P12/5. The sliding table is good now after custom modifications I made. The F3 comes with a nylon 7 groove, 13.5 " belt (for those who will have to replace it) that literally melted as I ran 8/4 hard maple. I never used the overhead dust collection, and removed that 4" coupler at the bottom. I ran a hose directly into the base of the cabinet and removed all dust housings. It does a much better job now. If I could go back, I would still buy the P12/5, but I definitely would not buy the F3

Only way you are going to get a USA made saw is to by an older used one.
