    A few things to note
1: The wings can be installed on either side, but there is definitely a front and back.
    2. The on/off switch cord is about 2 inches too short to easily slide into the front rail. Either slide it on before you connect the short rail, or remove the nut on the left then slide the right hand nut into the groove, then line up the second screw with the nut
    3. A 3mm allen wrench is needed to adjust the square of the fence, (my saw did not come with a 3mm wrench)
    4. An 11mm wrench or very small adjustable wrench, is needed to tighten the nuts on the power switch.
Otherwise this is a good set of instructions.

did you notice they didn't actually show the switch being slid into the rail. I had to undo the rail and move it to across to get the switch in.

Pete I wish I had read your comments before assembling my saw. I had to take one of the wings off because I had it on backwards. Mine came with a flat piece of metal set to tighten the 11mm nuts and the nut from the switch.

@Laguna Tools. I'm is the process of assembling my F1. A suggestion for putting on the base. I can see trying to reach into the far side to put the nuts on would be a big pain in the a%$e. What I did was, before screwing in the base bottom panel, put a few drops of CA glue (superglue) or hot melt glue and insert the bolts in from underneath. Let that set for a few minute while you screw in the bottom plate. Once the bolts are firm, lift on the base and you can tighten nuts easier without having to reach in under the table top doing it blind.

The dust plate can be put on after the base is installed and it is way easier to put all 8 bolts on

As others have stated, at 25:53 they don't show but you MUST install the switch into the short rail before you mount the rail. It simply will not slide in as the video implies - the cable doesn't reach and it will not ever reach - don't try to extend it. I think the video should have discussed this and this is a clear design flaw - one additional inch of cable would have been all that's required to slide the switch into place. Otherwise this is a good, thorough installation video. Don't waste your time on the manual, it has no real value other than the exploded view.
I just finished assembling and made my first cuts, really impressed by the quiet, clean cut and dust collection!

Always check the torque of the blade nut on the arbor, before starting the machine, you don't want a Friday machine.

@laguna tools....Can you please please do a video to covers squaring the blade to the miter slots? The directions Laguna customer service is confusing. The loosening of the cast iron to the body is difficult

      @happyreeds 4 месяца назад

you do not need one: this is a straight forward machine and things like aligning the cast iron table can be figured out by using the brain that mother nature gave you

@@happyreeds for the life of me I can’t imagine why you would leave a comment like this. I have never met you but for some reason you chose to insult me. This problem of the blade coming out of alignment from the miter slots is common on the model after doing research you would have seen that. Secondly the trunion is mounted to the cast iron top not the cabinet. Which makes it more difficult.

Without this video, I would never have figured out how to put this thing together. The instruction manual sucks!

I'm considering a table saw upgrade, and the F1 is on my shortlist. It looks like the foot at the far end of the fence rides freely on the rear rail, and isn't involved when locking the fence. Is this right? I hate those mechanisms that clamp the fence to the table at both ends.

Hi, the Fusion 1 Tablesaw has a tee-style fence that locks only in the front.

Hi. I recently purchased Laguna 1.
I have two problems, maybe you can help me.
    1. My dial is set between 90 and 44.5 degrees.
Where is the regulation for 45 degrees?
    2. The dial tilt knob operates very easily. If I turn the knob to 45 degrees, it straightens a little. Is there a blockage somewhere?

Wish I had seen this before buying. I thought that I was buying a table saw not a table saw kit. I generally expect the manufacturer to actually assemble the product, not make me to do their job for them. Very disappointed.

If you need customer support, then good luck to you. Customer service sucks ass!!! You call and leave a message and they may call you back. They called me back a week later and had no clue what I was talking about. I was only trying to order a Riving knife, nothing crazy. They emailed me a link to order it, of course it was the wrong part so I called them back, still waiting for them to return my call.
