Thank you Mandy I’m 57 and having using my SPF religiously what a difference....wish I started a long long time ago. Thank you for your partnership with Harbenhouse...they are awesome!
You look sooo pretty in that mint green, Mandy! Very nice. Thank you for listing these SPF’s for us. I ordered the Elta MD, (2 oz tube & 20%off!). Be blessed, Mandy! Ps. 84:11
Thank you. Great video. I too only wear mineral sunscreens. You’ve given me great info to help me buy better ones. You’ve also saved me a fair amount of money. I used the link for the ELTA MD. Not only did I get three for the price of two, I saved 20% with your code.
Thank you for such detailed information! Dermstore is currently having a 20% discount on lots of brands ... including the Colorscience - so the timing is perfect! You look stunning, as always - much success with the move!
Omg. I totally needed this video. Thank you. I just ordered your all time favorite. Bought two got third free. And thank you for the discount code. I lol forward to all your videos. Your so real and honest and I trust your opinions. Thanks again 💖
Great video and thank you! I also wear sunscreen everyday rain or shine all year round. I'm fanatical about it now since I'm from the days of baby oil and iodine baking in the sun - yes I was an idiot. My favs are Murad City Skin Age Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 50 PA++++ (very liquidy. does have a pink/gray cast but goes away), PURITO Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF50+ PA++++ (cream & no white cast & sets down fast), Elta UV Elements 44 (big fav), Glo Skin Beauty Solar Shade SPF 50 (on the shiny side & white cast that mostly goes away) and ColorScience (need to repurchase). I need to check out the First Aid Beauty sunscreen. You look beautiful as always!
I haven't tried Elta MD sunscreen yet. But I have heard amazing things and the fact it's your favorite convinced me I needed to take the plunge. Plus with your promo code and that sale I had to! I got one of your element types and two of the facial because I'm so pale I'm scared the element will be to tan and I figured I can mix them if I need to. But they both sounded amazing and I'm really really excited to be so stocked up on sunscreen! Their bottles are generous 😃❤️
Great video! I purchased two of the Elta MD Elements (Buy 2 Get 1 Free) from HH last week and also used your code. 😊 Huge savings, thanks! This SPF is the best. 🤗
Mandy, I thought you were only about 30!! The sunscreen is WORKING for you!!, (Along with your good genes, and skin care and natural good looks!) You are only a couple of years older than my daughter. I could not agree with you more about wearing the Sunscreens. I do hope you will try Clinique Pep Start spf 50, but it seems to be sold out everywhere. Even though it has an almost light peachy yellow tint, you can't tell, but it gives the complexion a glow and its a SUPER primer as well, but it can be worn on its own with just a little blush, bronzer, and any kind of eye makeup you want ☺🤗 (Edited to add, it is EASY to wash off too. Doesn't force you you scrub skin, or add a lot of oil to break up the Zinc)
Thank you for the Harben House tip..just ordered 3 Elta MD sunscreens...one that I have always used, and 2 that I have always wanted to try!! GREAT DEAL with the buy 2 get one free!
Hello. I'm new to your channel and I'm so glad to have found it. Not only do I think you're knowledgeable, but I'm so glad to hear someone talk about BeautyCounter products. Thank you for your videos and stay safe!
What an amazing deal on the elta md (especially with your 20% off code). I’ve been wanting to try it but I have a lot of sunscreen that I am trying to get through. I bought it anyway. 🤫
A great new and super affordable one I’ve juststarted using is Purito Comfy Water Sunblock! It’s mineral, no cast, super nice feeling going on and under makeup. It is not water resistant but really nice for days in the house. Thanks so much for the heads up about the Eltamd sale and your discount code! Such a great deal. I’m a new subscriber and really appreciated this video!
THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! For the heads-up sale on Elta MD!! I loaded up on them! You make is so easy.. Click on your link and there you go! My dermatologist tells me that is the one to wear. I hope your move is going ok.
Just ordered on the buy two get one free Elta MD from harben house. I have really enjoyed shopping with them, thanks for the heads up and discount code. Great video.
I use spf daily too, but I hate how stupid expensive they are in such little bottles for the face. To use what's really recommended you can use them up in about a month.
It's can definitely go fast, but I feel like it's the most important skin care item that you can purchase, so for me it's worth it. And with great options like the CeraVe, it's a little easier. But I do understand how fast they can go. I think that's why I have so many; it makes me feel like they last longer. LOL
My favorite sunscreen is the Elta MD UV Clear tinted 😍. Two sunscreens that I also really like are the Epionce Daily Shield Tinted SPF. 50 and the Josie Maran Argan Daily Moisturizer SPF 47. I loved how you swatched the Color Science Bronze and Glow. I am adding them to my collection, because they look beautiful. I love the original Color Science sunscreen, and love to wear it with no makeup. Headed to Harben House! Thanks for sharing the coupon code!
Good morning ! I love this video.... I have and love Color Science (original). I will definitely try the Bronze, then the Glow. I love the 3 in1 for my under eyes. I also have the DRMTLGY brand you may want to give it a try. The Elta MD Elements you mentioned gave me forehead breakouts. I have Exuivance, Clinique Pep Start, Darphin, and Cotz and love them all under makeup. Great video !
Loved the video I’m also a huge sunscreen lover so this was perfect for me. I LOVE the colorscience ones they are amazing. The first aid beauty sounds good too. Great video💕💕
Thank you for your opinions and recommendations Mandy. I love the Elta too and am thinking about trying the First Aid Beauty since I love many of their products. Hope you have a wonderful day 😍
Thank you for the heads up on the sale on elta MD SPF!! I love the Elta MD Elements!! I also love the Cera Ve tinted spf 30 as a more affordable option. I do find that I have to let that one set in for a few minutes longer before applying makeup but it performs, for me atleast, the same if not better than the Elta MD Elements. I would totally repurchase both though. Have you tried the Australian Gold Tinted SPF? Mine just shipped from Ulta and they have a few different shades. The Drunk Elephant Tinted SPF is pretty good too but leaves an orange hue around the hair line and depending on the makeup I wear on top of it doesn't last as long. I loved it last year but the other two I mentioned above I would repurchase before the drunk elephant.
Thank you so much for the review! I just ordered the Elta MD from Harben House. Wow....what a wonderful deal! Buy 2 get one free and your 20 % discount. So appreciate this! ❤️❤️
Hi! Do your girls wear sunscreen on their face daily? If so which one? Also where are you getting the Bronze Colorscience? Dermstore has been out for awhile and I really want to try it! I love the glow one!
Yes, they do. My youngest uses Beautycounter most of the time, and my oldest raids my stash and uses a different one every day, but she seems to gravitate towards the Elta MD the most. :)
I have such dry skin that I need my sunscreen to have good hydration to help keep my face makeup looking good. If the sunscreen dries matte, my skin just looks dull and dry, even if I use a hydrating or glowy foundation. Which of your favorites would you assess to be really moisturizing?
I just purchased one from La Rosh Posay and it’s a 11% titanium dioxide 50 spf. I typically look at the percent to make sure its above 7 but didn’t realize it wasn’t zinc 🤦♀️. I’ve never seen one strictly titanium dioxide. So I’m not sure how I feel about it... thanks for all the reviews!
I have seen a couple that are only Titanium, and it confuses me as well that they wouldn't add zinc. I have always heard that is the one that is more broad spectrum.
Hi Mandy, thanks for the great info. Have you tried the Drmtlgy Tinted Mineral Sunscreen. I tried it after a recommendation from Penn Smith when she did a rule video & compared it to the Elta MD. I found that it looks nice on the skin and does well under makeup. The tiny is not quite as dark as the Elta though.
Hi Mandy thanks for the video. I am looking to buy the Elta MD but I have medium/tan skin with yellow undertones and I have heard the Elta MD one is quite pink. Which one would you recommend for my skin tone?
Hi there...I am not sure about other tinted versions of elta, but I don't find the UV Elements to be pink at all. I find it to be much more neutral. I hope this helps! I think you would also like the tone of the Revision as well.
How would you compare the Elta MD UV Physical 41 vs the 44 you mentioned? I've only tried the 41 and have been loving it but now it is starting to peel randomly. Just wondering if they were similar. Thanks!
Great video! I wear mineral sunscreen every day, including under my makeup and love the UV Elements or Alastin (you should check this out if you haven't... it's an absolutely beautiful tinted production). This may be a stupid question, but do you think mineral sunscreens are enough for a day at the beach in full sun? I don't like chemical sunscreens but their SPF factor is usually higher and are water resistant longer. But I don't love them. Thoughts? Thanks so much -- you never steer us wrong!
Oh is the Alastin Mineral? I will have to check that out for sure! I personally feel that they are enough for the beach, only because it's really all I have ever used, and I haven't ever had an issue. I just make sure to reapply throughout the day and I am good to go. :)
I’ve been using the Colorscience with the Revision and love it! It gives nice coverage and a pretty glow. Have you tried the Colorscience blush yet? Would love to know your thoughts.❤️
Thanks for a great video Mandy! In regards to the Colorescience powder - I have the same but I feel it difficult to trust it. How do I know how much to apply to get the full coverage promised? I think its so difficult to see how much powder I apply, so I rarely reach for it - but it was pricey so would love to use it more. Thanks in advance!
I wouldn't use it as my sole spf...I always makes sure I have put a strong layer on underneath that morning. It's hard to know if you used enough, but it has always seemed to work for me, so I keep going back to it. If I know I am going to be out alot though, I just don't wear makeup and reapply my liquid spf throughout the day.
Thanks for this! Do you reapply any sort of Sunscreen on the face throughout the day? If so, how? (assuming you've got your makeup on). One of the powders? TIA
Just purchased the Elta MD sunscreen and used your code. My favorite has been the Australian Gold 50 tinted, but am anxious to try the Elta MD. Have heard really good things about it. Thank you for such an important video.
I have worn it by itself when I know I am wearing makeup. If I am not, I mix it; it can be very glowy very fast on it's own, but it's gorgeous under makeup. Almost like a luminous primer.
I always make sure to use my fingers and really rub it in, and while it takes a bit more rubbing, I find once it warms up, it applies great. I hope that helps!
Thanks so much for the coupon code for Harben House! Three tubes of Elta MD for $56!!!!! That’s amazing!

The Colorscience glow face shield is so luminous! Thank you for giving us other equally beautiful options.
You are so welcome!
Thanks, Mandy. I love the Elta MD tinted sunscreen and the Colorscience Mineral Sunscreen brush. Happy haircut day tomorrow!
LOL...thank you!! It was a wonderful haircut day!

What an amazing deal on the elta md (especially with your 20% off code). I’ve been wanting to try it but I have a lot of sunscreen that I am trying to get through. I bought it anyway. 🤫
Kay B missed that...need to get elta with code!

Hi! Do your girls wear sunscreen on their face daily? If so which one? Also where are you getting the Bronze Colorscience? Dermstore has been out for awhile and I really want to try it! I love the glow one!
Shamen Lippmin lovelyskin.com is a great website they have it in stock and also the colorscience website

I love the Mychelle tinted spf 50 and juice beauty spf 30..
mirian savage I keep hearing the MyChelle tinted is really nice
I haven't tried that one. Thanks for sharing!
Have you tried MD Solar Science bb balm? I'd love to see you review it!
Lucrece SPF also!
I haven't! I will have to check those out. Thanks!
I've been looking forward to this video! Thank you.
You are so welcome!
Dr Dray uses the color science stick as lipstick! A great look & lips are protected
Definitely important to protect the lips as well!
I’ve been mixing the Colorescience original and the bronze. I love them! I want to try the glow so badly too 😂
I love mixing them...they make such a pretty base!
Loved this video! Super helpful 💚
Thank you!!
Hey Tina! I haven't tried the Drmtlgy one but I will put it on my radar for sure!
Outstanding Great Favorites Lol
How would you compare the Elta MD UV Physical 41 vs the 44 you mentioned? I've only tried the 41 and have been loving it but now it is starting to peel randomly. Just wondering if they were similar. Thanks!
Hey Sarah! I don't think I have ever tried the 41, so I don't exactly know how to compare them. So sorry!
Hi Mandy, have you tried the newer sunscreen UV restore by Elta MD? It has the same packaging as the UV elements that you love :)
Yes! Once that launched, I switched over to that and had my hubby start on the elements. LOL I love Restore!
Yes, the Alastin is all mineral. Very similar to the EltaMD but a rad bit darker and the finish is so beautiful.
I’ve been using the Colorscience with the Revision and love it! It gives nice coverage and a pretty glow. Have you tried the Colorscience blush yet? Would love to know your thoughts.❤️
I have tried it and love it! I need to feature them in a video. :)
Mandy Davis MUA Please do! Thank you!❤️
Thanks for a great video Mandy!
TIA
Hey Beth! I talk about this in the video as well as my fave product to do it. :)
Just purchased the Elta MD sunscreen and used your code. My favorite has been the Australian Gold 50 tinted, but am anxious to try the Elta MD. Have heard really good things about it. Thank you for such an important video.
Oh I am so excited for you to try it! Let me know what you think!
Great sunscreens Mandy :-)) oxoxox
Thanks Linda!
Do you wear the Color Science Glow sunscreen by itself or just mix it in with others? 💕
I have worn it by itself when I know I am wearing makeup. If I am not, I mix it; it can be very glowy very fast on it's own, but it's gorgeous under makeup. Almost like a luminous primer.
Thank you for this video. 😊 which one is good to use with Mac face and Body foundation?
My fave with the Face and Body is the First Aid Beauty one. :)
Mandy Davis MUA thank you!
Which one of these would work best with my very dry and sensitive skin?
The CeraVe is the most hydrating one I think with the Revision coming in a close second. :)
Thanks for this!
Of course!
Could I use the Colorscience "Glow" by itself? You had said you mixed it with other colors.
Most definitely! It's gorgeous on it own. :)
@@MandyDavisMUA Great! Can't wait to try it. Thank you!
I don't think you mentioned... what shade did you get in the colorescience powder sunscreen?
Oh sorry about that! I have medium. :)
Mandy: I have the Revision and I find it a bit gooey and difficult to rub in. Do you have any advice on how to apply it?
I always make sure to use my fingers and really rub it in, and while it takes a bit more rubbing, I find once it warms up, it applies great. I hope that helps!
Mandy Davis MUA thanks so much. I’ll try that next time.
Perfect 👌 thank you!
You are so welcome Jill!
thanks for vid pretty lady. be safe
What do you use for spf reapplication?
I like the Colorescience and Jane Iredale Powder SPFs. If I have no makeup on, I will continue to use what I put on in the morning. :)
Omg First Person
