Technically there is no such thing as an AC Cobra, it's a Shelby Cobra which was based on an AC Ace then some were shipped to America and that's where Shelby got hold of some of them and dropped in a big engine and flared the arches

@@stewartw.9151 exactly, AC had the Aceca and the beautiful AC ACE so the cobra is just beautiful to look at. Then the great shelby stuck a proper engine in it. Just like the lLola became the GT40

You can’t just end a video in an ORIGINAL AC Cobra in the F1 tunnel without flooring it 😢
My thoughts exactly
Dude!!! you cut the video just as you start going through the tunnel!!!! You are cruel to not let us hear that.
7:10 lowkey even the filmer's car is impresive
You guys have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to the cobra
Check out Jay Leno's video of a 1965 427 AC Cobra. He is much more knowledgeable.

Shame these two guys are clueless
They look like they're 12, so not surprising
I love Cobras but jezz these arse clowns made this hard to watch. I couldn't get through the whole thing and the car is beautiful.

ive never seen tony hawk in a suit
THIS IS NOT AN ORIGINAL COBRA!
WE KNOW COS ITS NOT CALLED A SHELBY COBRA 427 ITS JUST CALLED AC COBRA
What makes you say that
All of the switches are modern and not classic Lucas switches. This is a kit car
@danielshapiro4805 you reckon? Not just retrofitted?
@ yes I know. I have one
CSX#?
Very cool car, looks like a high end replica. Many of the parts shown in this video are not from 60’s.
Still awesome car .....
I'm 1:36 in, and this video has me cringing and opening my fly, all at the same time.
My absolute dream car 😍
The amount of money in Monaco is crazy!!!!
The police in monaco love people reving loud cars. It gives them an excuse to tow the car, then make you empty you bank to get it back.
A little more knowledge about the car, history, CSX #, on your part would have made this a great video.
Super cringe with these guy‘s. Anyway, beautiful car
pretty sure this is a replica of CSX2484 that has been making the rounds in Europe, but the original CSX2484 is alive and well in the U.S.
Yup it’s a replica
Still sweet.
BTW the steering wheel isn’t correct either.
Lol
Cobra is epic, but what was the camera 'chase' car??
That's hot 🔥. Moving art !
Definitely a replica, not original Cobra. Clearly has power steering.
Original road going Cobras never had side pipes, not original.
DREAM CAR AND DREAM PLACE
Its a 289 Cobra in FIA trim. Don't like the way he's lugging the motor going up that hill. Must be his latest toy !!
Was wondering, the 427 has the cranked forward gearstick right ?, stunning car but video could have been so much better, showing engine, carbs etc.

You've got to hope they've put the handbrake on because that hose pipe aint gonna stop it going of the wall.
The best british American car
The chase car looks like it's having trouble catching up to that cobra beast!
The car behind you at 6:28 looks cool 😎
It’s cool but the cobra is WAY cooler 🐍
lookis like power assisted steering?
looks like the cable for the tach or speedometer is loose, the needle keeps jumping around. I don't think this is an original car, a later replica.

Dream Car right there
I think the car has a problem, it's twitching. It has dips in traction. it should not do this when overclocking slowly

probably because it doesn't have one ;-)
Great one Seb👍
Get your hand off the gear stick when you're not changing gear, Jesus !!
yep, rebuild your gearbox in a couple of months
Yep, pet hate of mine, also holding the wheel at two o-clock with his left hand too, like a gangsta, very poor form, no way to drive a vintage Cobra.

I question if these guys really know the car, they did not talk about the engine specs. Is this Cobra actually original as they claim?
They could not talk about it 'cos they do not know about it!

I was waiting for a tunnel blast... :(
It's a Shelby Cobra not an AC Cobra. AC built the bodies but not the whole car.
